This truck needs no introduction if you work downtown Fresno. The go to spot for most Fresno county employees. Mr. Taconaza parks right in front of the Fresno Superior Courthouse in the morning so you can get a breakfast burrito before waiting in line to get into court. Nothing beats getting out of the courthouse then walking over a few steps to get tacos to turn your day around. This truck is always gonna have a special place in my heart. DELICIOUS food truck! I'm a big fan of their CA burrito, and what sets their asada apart from every other truck: they slightly crisp it, so it's not so chewy but has a bit of a crunch to it and it's - chef's kiss! I also thoroughly enjoy their breakfast burritos, and their red salsa is FIRE. I'm always left highly satisfied after grabbing food downtown, during the work week, and I'm excited that they've got a set spot closer to my home! I've eaten from this food truck 2 times. The first time was at a catered event, which offered tacos, rice and beans. The food was delicious and the tacos were full of meat. The second time was at Clovis Ave just south of Belmont (at the old Spinos Nursery location). The owner said he would be there from 5:00 to 10:00, everyday and he was also getting other food trucks to join him. Again, the food was delicious, I ordered the California Burrito. This location has tons of covered seating and there is also restroom facilities. Prices are reasonable, food is delicious, and service is fast. Not only are we in California, but we're in Fresno...so this town knows a little something about tacos. So I've worked downtown for 14 years, but I just recently found this taco truck. I love that trucks have been booming with popularity, however, it's ironically not easy to find just a regular taco truck anymore. In Fresno, I've found some fancy gourmet tacos, vegan tacos and birria tacos. These are all actually pretty damn good, but sometimes (everyday?) I just want a good ol' fashioned tacos. The truck is centrally located downtown. It is parked near the courthouse on Tulare street. They make tacos, burgers and fries. But, I've only had the carne asada tacos, and they are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! $2 each, full of cabbage, delicious salsa (they have red or green) and you can also add grilled onions and jalapenos. I would suggest this as well. The tacos are delicious and literally dripping with flavor. I'm also a fan of their ice. You get a styrofoam cup and fill up your ice on the side. It's the "truck ice" which is kind of like snow cone ice in that its super fine. It is the best with soda. The entire meal is delicious and it is paired with friendly and fast service. You can pay via card or apple pay. read more

Not normally where I am at this time of day any day of the week, but I plan to venture here for these tacos. Cannot wait to have my significant other try the tacos and nachos. The filling is delicious and complete, but the magic is that the carnitas are treated just like they should be, cooked to deliciousness and seemingly fried so they have that beautiful brown crisp to them, even when stuffed in a burrito. Easily some of the best Mexican food I've had anywhere. This was my first time there and I got the California Burrito. It came out fast and fresh and carne asada was the most tender and flavorful I've ever had. I usually pour lots of salsa on my Mexican food to enhance the flavor, but their meat was so flavorful on its own that I found myself putting less and less salsa on as I ate so I could taste the full flavor of the meat. The size of the burrito was also large compared to some other places. The owner was also extremely friendly and made sure my experience was just what I was looking for.
