    Limey pork tacos!
    Vanessa D.

This is my second time here. I came in April or so. I ordered two pulled pork tacos and was disappointed. It wasn't seasoned like other pulled pork that I've had. It was mostly roasted with a dry rub. Some parts of the meat were pink and a couple bites had a mouthful of fat. My husband had the beef and said it was just okay. Both were juicy but my husband and I agreed the tacos lacked the zest and flavour if onion, cilantro and lime usually present in other tacos. Tonight they were also out of crispy fish, which was my first choice. Total bill for 4 tacos came to $14. We brought our own beverages. The server/cook gave us a deal, which was nice. Service was good: it was prepared quickly. There was no seating outside, except for two chairs widely spaced gracing the doorway. A picnic table would have been perfect. Instead if sitting in the blasting air-conditioning we opted for a bench not far on the sidewalk. It is what it is: a quick, relatively healthy dinner, and a chance to still savour the taste of summer.

Great little hidden gem. Parked to do errands and saw it and popped in to try. Awesome taco. Flavors were great.

Here's the crappy tacos I got after waiting for forty minutes.

Waited for a long time for my order got told the new guy "fuckin' left". Then when I was standing there waiting for my order got told "I'm sure standing there will make it come faster though. " jerk. Won't be back.

So good we couldn't wait to start eating. Front of the tacolot on Nepean st.

Wow. No words. AMAZING…read more There's no sign for Sasha, just a white sack that says poutine, hot dogs, sausages. There's seating in the back. Amazing. No words it was immaculate. Poutine had lots of gravy and cheese curds, every bite had the perfect ratio. Even with so much sauce and cheese, fries are crispy even after 30 minutes of eating. The gravy is so well flavored, I liked the bowl clean of the gravy with my sausage. The polish sausage was amazing- Smokey juicy and grilled so yummy. The bread was soft and melted so well with the sausage. I put some gravy on top of the sausage and wow. A MUST! CASH ONLY BTW! The lady so sweet and explained the different flavorings of the sausages :) SO WORTH IT! The best places are the local mom and pop shops! :)

Regrettably, I did not get poutine, but I did get a sausage and it was great!…read more I'm not normally in this area at all, especially at night on a weekend, but we were on the patio at the Laff across the street for a friend's birthday and wanted some grub with our drinks after the Laff's kitchen had closed. We walked over to this little stand, which I actually had no idea existed, to get something quick to-go. There was no line late on a Friday night. We got a few different sausages and poutines and brought them back over to eat on the Laff's patio. It had been a long while since I had a grilled Polish sausage, so that's what I got with a little ketchup, mustard, and some chopped raw white onions. The sausage was perfect, tasty, hot, and not overcooked, just what I was craving and very satisfying. There was only one person behind the counter, a young guy who was very sweet, super fast, and we were really impressed he remembered everything we ordered. They have a small menu of your standard chip wagon fare - fries and poutine, hot dogs and sausages, pogos, and drinks, plus ice cream. Great spot that's open late (until 3am I think) for before/during/after a night out at the bars.

The Best Chip Wagon by Kennedy Flower Shop isn't the best place to go for poutine, in my opinion,…read morebut it's still pretty good. The owner is always very pleasant, he doesn't skimp on the curds and gravy, plus their prices are fair. The wagon is at a bus stop for the 1, 4 & 7, and it's good enough that I see people quickly try to order an impulse buy of poutine or a hotdog before their bus rolls around. I've also seen people miss the bus by the final slamming of the door because they took this gamble. My major complaint is their short hours. They seem to cater to the work crowd because they're only open from the late morning until around 6pm. With its location and clientèle, I think they could drum up a better business if they stayed open longer, but since it only seems to employ the owner and one other person, I can understand that they'd want to keep short hours. If you're really in a bind for late chip wagon poutine, you may be able to get some at Bank and Laurier and you'll most definitely be able to find an open chip wagon on Bank and Sunnyside.

Run home, chow down...OK, shared it though I might have been able to eat it all myself since it was just yummy but that would be too decadent. Also, shared the polish dog and it was also very tasty. The owner is very nice and all smiles when you order. Glad my friend recommended this chip wagon at Bank and Argyle.
