The customer service from the person who is in charge of the place, who is not even the owner. I asked kindly if the beans and the rice could be separated form the food that I ordered "which are bowls with lettuce and meat" Then one female working in The kitchen made an annoyed face when she knew about the order. I saw it I let it go.. The when I got my plates (which si ordered 3 big bowls I noticed that only one small plate had beans and rice.. I asked nicely, I thought maybe they forgot, then a lady in the kitchen said. I placed the rice and the beans from those 3 big bowls together.. I said but I wanted separated from, because they were do 3 different people. Then, that lady said, well we charge 3 dollars for extra container , I said well you should have told me that. But the amount that she placed in one container it was not from the 3 bowls it was just for one bowl, I said, ok, then , I will pay for the extra small 3 dollars container but give the rest of the beans and rice that we supposed to be into those bowls. ThenI asked her , and who are you? Are you the owner? She said no, but I am in charge, she ended up charging me extra for another container and extra for the extra beans and rice. When I noticed I said , you know what I'm not coming back, and she said ""well that's ok don't come back.. " and I was not even rude ... she was rude sending me and charging me extra.. for something that is supposed to be included.. Also they're not cheap.. Plus the green salsa and the guacamole are extremely salty.. I was there one and I went back there because I liked the way that the cashier treats the people, but the lady "who is in charge" is an ahole... she does not care about customers..or food. Came here since I didn't want to drive all the way to tacos el gordo. The tacos here are decently priced for the size. The carne asada fries weren't worth the price. The meat was not tender at all I had a lot of hard pieces that were inedible and the fried were very soggy. The tacos were good with the red salsa. The green salsa is spicy. I was just not impressed. I'm not sure if it was the staff on but unfortunately the food was not great. I'm Mexican American and I'm very hesitant when it comes to Mexican ( any kind of restaurant/food) my boyfriend picked the spot and I figured why not try it to support them. Unfortunately the rice was kinda stiff. I don't know if it was because it left on a burner or somewhere to keep warm. The Horchata was good. The rest of the food unfortunately was bland. I didn't finish my meal and let me tell you I'm not very picky. The ambience was fine. It was clean. I don't think I'll be back and I hate leaving negative reviews but you're definitely not worth it to me. Also the salsas were great and the staff were nice. I noticed this place has mixed reviews. I think your experience depends on what staff are on shift. That being said the asada burrito here was impressive! Being from California my wife and I are very critical of Mexican (off strip) food in Vegas. The female cook here on shirt at 12pm is more of a chef. She prepared the burrito with detail. The tortilla is soft and translucent with just the right sear for a crisp complement. The asada is not dehydrated like most places but juicy! Looking for a new street taco place and stumbled upon this restaurant.... A few things: we ordered street tacos, rice and beans, and breakfast chorizo tacos for the next day. The carne asada and Al pastor street tacos are amazing, so tender and delicious. They come with a side of tortilla chips, as well. The rice and beans were yummy, too. They were not refried beans, but whole pinto beans, which I wasn't expecting but still super tasty. The chorizo breakfast burrito we had the next day at around 10am---it's humongous......and unfortunately it was not that tasty. It ended up giving both me and my partner tummy issues the rest of the day and into the night. Their salsa is very different. It's a sweet heat flavor. It was good, but definitely took me and my partner by surprise. The ambience at the restaurant was great and the staff were very welcoming and warm. I usually stick to my go-to order, the taco plate special with al pastor tacos, which is done to perfection every time without exception. While I haven't tried everything on the menu, everything I have tried has been absolutely delicious. Noteworthy is their carne asada fry plate, which comes with a generous amount of protein--usually more than I can finish by myself! Gio, whom I believe to be the manager, has recognized me as a loyal customer. He and his wonderful staff have always greeted me warmly and treated me exceptionally well. Fries are crispy and the meat is very flavorful and the pico is on point. Every time I come in the service is always good, only thing to point out is if you order thru door dash the carne asada fries is not on the menu so we always just order carne asada nachos and put on the note that we want fries and they always get it right. Strange: It is a Mexican restaurant, but the Pastor burrito looks and tastes like a Chinese BBQ Pork wrap, and was served with a "peanut" salsa, which screams, "lawsuit" IMHO. The other odd thing is this business advertises as a family restaurant, but I believe the Credit Card receipt lists it as a Dotty's Casino. Something they should consider addressing.
