We have eaten at Taco Time for upwards of 30 years and have taken notice when changes in the menu were made, the most positive change being the new taco sauce they began offering around 2022. But generally, the quality has digressed over time. Today was noteworthy-- the Chicken Chili Soup I ordered today amounted to chicken broth only with black beans and corn. There wasn't any chicken and the container was only half full. It was as if they forgot to include some of the ingredients. And the Chicken Soft Tacos lacked spice. With the advent of so many more new Mexican restaurants here in Wenatchee, Taco Time needs to stay in the race. They can't just play the "fresh ingredients" card any longer--they need to control quality better. 3-Stars says Taco Time is average, no longer something special. read more

I've eaten at taco time for many yrs., this week we stopped in for lunch and found the taco salads wonderful crisp flour tortillas have been replaced with a few corn chips! Very disappointing. This does allow them to serve it in a flat plastic tray doing away with the iconic shaped box. This establishment seems to have "mature" workers, and by "mature" I mean between 30 and 80! I am moving to this area. This is my third time here and I haven't seen any "young ins" work here. (You know what I mean.... The ones that just don't care and won't do anything the computer is not programmed to do....and can't count change....) The workers here really show a "service" attitude and are willing to accommodate out of the box requests. I don't like to give 5 stars, but I have to because the workers really are over the top! This is the second time I have seen a Taco Time with "mature" workers. The other was in Colorado. This will become my new hangout place. Ok, fast food is not healthy for you, but I like to think that the food here is better than a burger place? Thank you for your workers who really make an effort! As far as fast food style restaurants go, I rate Taco Time up there pretty good. Food is always fresh, whether I order a soft beef taco or crisp meat burritos. Staff has always been friendly and never forgets to add my fresh salsa. read more

Just got done eating at taco time in wenatchee, was not happy at all with the customer service. I got 4 hot sauces and they were all half full. And I expect to have a full hot sauce since if you get more than 2 you need to pay extra. When I asked for them to fill it up some guy named Jeff ran out from behind the counter and was very rude. He said "I'll give you 3 4 or 5 hot sauces will that solve your problem? " he than continued to slam the sauce on the table. he said it all with a smile on his face, but it felt very hostile. As I was leaving there was a man outside smoking a cigarette, in sandals. His hair was unkept and down to his shoulders in length. Really hope he wasn't the one making my food. This has been my go to place for a quick bite. I was there in the late afternoon on Sat, Aug 24, around 4 pm. I ordered a natural soft taco, mexi fries, crustos and a water. I felt sick about 20 minutes after eating as I continued my errands. Had to go directly home and lay down. I will not come back again. Food poisoning is nothing to play around with. read more

I love Taco Time but almost every time I eat there they leave out items or give me wrong thing I ordered. Tonight at 8:50 I went through the drive through & they left out the crisp chicken burrito that was supposed to be in my granddaughters mini anytime meal. So I called right away when I got home & they close at 9:00 so no resolution & no dinner. Not happy with them plus their sour cream ranch dressing that ALL Taco Times carry is straight sour cream no flavor. Not very happy with them right now. I think the manager needs to train the help better & they need to pay attention to the orders more closely. read more

I stopped in to pick up dinner before a double shift at work. I ordered the Habanero Chicken Burrito. When I got to work I was Appalled at what I got. It was just black beans! I didn't see or taste anything else. I have had them before and know what to expect. I tried calling the restaurant for 4 hours and the phone line was busy I just got off the phone with Kevin, who said he was manager at the moment. He was so rude to me! He didn't want to listen just come in and we will give you another! I asked why the phone line was busy for 4 hours and he didn't answer. There is a manager who works there who is awesome and I asked her name, knowing I wanted to call back. He said I AM NOT COMFORTABLE GIVING OUT NAMES! WHAT? I HAVE NEVER HAD ANYONE REFUSE TO GIVE ME UPPER MANAGEMENT'S NAME! I asked his and he said, Kevin. Wow! I will be talking with her for sure! My order was wrong. Tasted horrible. Every time I show up to taco time when they should have at least 30-45 minutes until close, they never answer the drive thru and they lock the inside early. This is the worst taco time I have ever been in! The manager was rude, it's dirty, and the cook has long unkept hair, no gloves, and the food was expensive and not fresh at all.
