If you're on the hunt for solid birria tacos on the west side, Taco Taco in Avondale definitely deserves a stop. As expected from a food truck, the setup is simple and no-frills--but that's part of the charm. What really stands out is the efficiency and friendliness of the service. The staff is welcoming, quick, and make the whole experience feel easy and approachable. One of the biggest conveniences is their text-ahead ordering option, which is a game changer. Being able to place your order in advance and have it ready when you arrive saves time and makes the whole process seamless. Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the birria tacos. They're everything you'd hope for--rich, flavorful, and satisfying. The meat is tender and well-seasoned, with that deep, slow-cooked flavor that really comes through in every bite. The tortillas are nicely crisped, giving you that perfect balance of texture, especially when dipped into the consommé. Speaking of which, the consommé is packed with flavor--savory, slightly spicy, and exactly what you want alongside a good birria taco. This isn't a fancy dining experience, but it doesn't try to be--and it doesn't need to be. Taco Taco delivers where it counts: quality food, great service, and convenience. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or planning ahead with a text order, it's a reliable spot that hits the craving every time. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the Avondale area and looking for authentic, satisfying birria tacos. read more

Decided to give it a try.. I ordered 1 birria corn taco (one tiny taco basically, advertised as $3) and one coke that was advertised as $1.75. She turned the pin pad over for me to tap and said "$18" after asking why it was that much for what I had ordered she said "it's the coke" so I said "okay then no soda" and rolled her eyes, she flipped the card reader back over and said "$4". Scam?? Where else is a can of Coca-Cola $14?! read more

Absolutely amazing Asada Taco! The toppings are all served in separate cups so you can dress it up just the way you like it. Just enough shade from the Palo Verde and Mesquite Trees. The down side is there is no seating available other than a brick wall. read more

Positives +Food was great. Had the Birria tacos and quesadilla. Consome was good too. +Wait time wasn't too bad +Easy to find +Good hours +The truck looks nice and is good quality Things to work on -Not too friendly. Say hello and thank you. That's not too hard. The cool guy that doesn't speak at the counter approach doesn't go over well with customer service. There are lots of competitors we could have chosen over you. It makes your customers feel uncomfortable and like we are not welcome. Remember we are trying to support you. Would have lowered the review to three stars but wanted to give you the benefit of a doubt that it may have just been that day. Never take for granted that someone is willing to give you money for something you are providing. read more

Ordered a side of fries, was told I had to wait 10 minutes for them to be done just to receive burnt nasty fries! read more

When your teenage son says he wants to try some Birria Tacos you get the tacos. No better way to get quality time with your teenage son than through his stomach (am I right or am I right?). I had talked with a friend and knew I had to go to Taco Taco. They have three different food trucks set up around the west valley and boy were they worth it! I'll start off by saying I read a lot of reviews and some say the customer service was really bad, but our experience was great. They were friendly and answered a few of the questions I had. The location we went to was right off the 10 freeway and 99th avenue across from the Tractor Supply. For a food truck on the side of the road it was crazy busy. (Good sign) We ordered six Birria tacos with a medium consommé, asada fries and three glass bottle of soda. It took about 5-10 minutes to get our food, but again it was busy. When I opened that box of tacos I almost cried . They looked so good. Huge amount of meat and cheese. Perfect crunch on the outside. They came with a large bag of limes, hot sauce and onions/cilantro to put in the consommé. The asada fries were massive. The tacos were so delicious. I can't even explain how much flavor dipping the tacos in the consommé added to already juicy and tasty tacos. The consommé was a stand out on it's own. I could literally drink it ( is that a thing lol ) So good! My son attempted to eat all the fries as well, but hit a wall...too full. He said they were good, but we didn't realize the everything on them Asada fries came with beans. He hates beans. Regardless he ate more than half because he said they were pretty good. I was impressed. The only negative depending how you look at things was it was pricy. (That's all food trucks) Youre helping pay gas, employees, supplies; add tip and $$..if you frequent food trucks I'm sure you're aware. I myself can't wait to go back and try the Birria Ramen and some nachos. The pictures alone should already have you in your car on the way there! Enjoy! read more

I ordered the "Mole Chicken Burrito", flavor wise it was pretty good 3/5 although it would've been better if it came with rice. My sister got the "Chicken Mix Burrito" flavor wise it was a 2/5, it was pretty dry. My mom ordered a "Carne Asada Burrito" same thing as the Mole Burrito the flavor of the meat was good 3/5 but would've been better with rice and beans. My brother ordered the "Barbacoa Burrito" flavor wise 3/5 same would've been better with rice and beans. The service was pretty fast. My sister and I waited less than 10 minutes for our food. The place is cute! They have posters and represent Mexico I personally would not come back but it was worth the try good luck! read more

I want to start by saying I've been searching for the best tacos de birria (even searched in Cali) this is by far the best Birria tacos I've ever had. We had the quesa tacos and mulitas de birria with consomé. They were both excellent, the queso tacos were much better and crunchier. Service was excellent the gentleman that helped us gave us all the options on how we could have our tacos. People complained about the service but the girl that was supposedly rude was not there. We asked for extra salsa because read one previous comments that they are stingy with it. We got 4 cups of salsa for 4 tacos and a mulita. The meat was cooked to perfection we ended up only using 1.5 cups of salsa (I love salsa could never eat a taco without it). The tacos were filled with meat they were more stuffed then the mulita. If you're looking for a fast/quick meal this is not a spot for you. Everything is freshly made to order, this is not McDonald's so if you want great food this is it but make sure you go with enough time! It's definitely worth it. read more

The food is good, I really like the tacos dorados. Costumer service sucks though the lady's are rude, also they give you a little bit of lemon, onion and cilantro. They could be more generous with it. Also the wait is super long I recommend you call ahead if time if you don't want to wait 30 plus minutes. read more

I found this place on IG and I am SO happy I did. I had 2 birria tacos, 1 birria taco dorado, and consume without meat. They only serve carne asada and birria, and I can't speak for the carne asada, but the birria was AMAZING. The tortilla is crunchy so it doesn't get soggy when you dip it in the consume, and the consume's flavor is ridiculously great. A must try! read more

I made a phone order at the taco truck on 43rd and VanBuren. By the time my daughter arrived to pick up. The food was ready. Got home warm. I cant explain in words how amazing their food is. THE BEST BIRRIA TACOS!!! I've tried everything and so far no one does it better than taco taco and I like how you can order ahead of time.

We've been seeing this taco truck all over the Nextdoor app with our neighbors saying great things about them. We decided to try it today and the food is great! I got a birria taco and an asada taco to try them both and I loved them. They both have a great taste taste. They also sell consomé with or without birria meat added , it's super flavorful alone but adding their spicy Chile makes it even better. They have a little area where you could prepare your tacos with cilantro and onions. And two bottles of Chile. One is a spicy red sauce and the other is a salsa de aguacate. I definitely recommend this truck. read more

Taco Taco - Birria taco, asada taco, small consomé and horchata drink - Food Trucks Near Me - Avondale, Arizona

Drove over an hour to get these infamous Taco Taco, tacos to arrive at the truck at 10:37 which is super last minute, I understand but they are open until 11 pm but we were turned away because of a lame excuse they weren't taking orders anymore. We tried to explain to them that we just drove an hour and they were still technically open for 23 mins. And they rudely just dismissed our requests and basically told us "better luck next time" SOOOO unprofessional. There was at least 9-10 people waiting for there food too, so it wasn't like we were super inconveniencing them in any way that they weren't already inconvenienced. Very unfortunate to write such a shitty ass review for a place that was supposedly suppose to be fire. read more

This place is actually good but not great.Service wasn't as bad as I've been reading and neither was the wait but maybe it's because I came at 7pm before the rush. I would come back, but wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again. If you want a different type of taco to eat then this is the spot, but one time after what I saw on the gram is good enough for me. And yes, the pics looked way more flavorful than the food itself. Oh and the asada actually has some pretty good flavor too. I was surprised being that they specialize in mostly birria. I will come back though, but only if I'm in the area. In the end, I think it's worth trying at least once. read more

I've been here a little over a year now and I've searched high and low. This truck is the truth. I went first to the Tolleson location for Birria tacos but that was my first and only time having them. Since I didn't have anything to compare it to I didn't write a review but they were sooo good . Saturday I went to the Glendale truck and got a carne asada burrito and it was by far the best burrito I've had since I've been here. The flavors were immaculate and I enjoyed every bite. I typically can't eat a whole burrito in one setting and I don't like leftovers so I usually end up throwing it away and wasting money but I ate the whole thing this time. Not all at once but even when it was cold it was still good. read more
