At the end of the meal we had a 20% service charge which our server said did not go to them as a gratuity, the server was unable to apply the "Happy Hour" discount claiming our drinks didn't count though there was no indication based on the "Buy 1 Get 1 Free Cocktails, Beers and Wines" and we ordered off the cocktail portion of the menu. We were told by the hostess that the two other Mexican places we considered down the street were the exact same kitchen and prices, just different buildings and names, even down to watching our food be carried up the sidewalk from another building. Between the corporate soullessness, shady Happy Hour practice, cookie cutter concept, a "service charge" which doesn't benefit staff, and the food poisoning I have attributed to it, by the end I just felt sour.
