We had such a sweet server. She said she was new but did a wonderful job. I wasn't a fan of the queso but was satisfied with everything else. The flavor of the queso was just off somehow. I had the chicken taco salad and enjoyed it although the chicken could have been seasoned more. The taco salad shell was crisp and fresh though. Overall it was a decent meal, but I dont think I'd come back here rather than trying out another option nearby.

When I ordered I told her I wanted #39 and she said well that is #32 now. Okay I still want it 2 large and a large queso. This dish has rice on bottom and grilled chicken, steak and shrimp. Last time I got this it was $11.99 today it was $12.99 and the shrimp was extra. Not only is the meat not as good as it was it is about $3 or $4 extra. So pay more and get less. When I got there to pick up my order she was standing up there complaining about other diners to a couple picking up. I got my order and she got the large queso which cost extra #2.50 and is runny like cheese soup in a can. Then I got home and realized she didn't give me the white queso, I went back up there to get it and then she charged me another $5 so almost $40 for 2 dinners. When she brought the large queso it was only half full and very thin, almost watery. I pointed that out and she said I AM THE OWNER AND I BELIEVE I KNOW HOW IT IS SERVED. I left but told her I wouldn't be back. She said okay. I will not be going back the food is not as good as before and she is just not nice at all. I don't want to contribute to her revenue. Not a good experience AT ALL

There are things here that could be picked apart however, you would have to be mad at Life to do it. The staff is amazing, bartenders are legitimate mixologists. The drinks are big, a gud selection of Mexican beers and the food is the reason this place is packed. Even tho they are busy i got my beer right away. Just saw the bartender checking the temp of a beer before serving. Food came out hot and delicious. Got the big burrito (took home half), to go'd the poco loco (bc everybody needs gud leftovers) it was all perfect. Dania was the best server I've had in a while, she may have gotten an assist from the lady next to me bc when I accidentally dropped my lime, trying to squeeze it into my Victoria (ugh!) the next time she came back around I she gave me another lime wo my asking. The attention to detail here is next level, pay attention, you'll see it. My experience makes me wish I did not live 4 hours away. I would be a regular. Trigger warning, they allow smoking in the bar, that's not my thing so it was a little offputting, just make sure you get a seat where you can be comfortable. Pro tip: it's on the backside of the mall
