2.5 is about right based on my literal "gut reaction" which a single dose of pepto handled post meal (after 40 min walking it off) ..lmao. We had to try it..."since 1969"...punishment was real and stomach still barking at me this morning. If going to eat crap, I suggest somewhere else that doesn't bite back so hard. read more

Breakfast burrito was simple & tasty. Service from Shana was quick & friendly. Clean location.

Almost $15 for 5 tacos no sodas nothing just 5 tacos. It should be a requirement to wash one's shirt before work. read more

This is our first visit. The person taking our order seemed sleepy or hungover. The receipt is printed at 12:27. The food arrived at our table at 12:51. It was missing the side orders and then we couldn't get any ketchup without asking three times. Then she brought us 8 packages and explained they were the last ketchup in the store. Hard to see how this place could stay on business. read more

This was the first time we have visited a Taco John's , and I have no clue how this place can stay in business. This is a fast food taco place, similar to other large taco chains, but the service and food are lousy. A basic lunch order took almost 30 minutes - a half hour for fast food tacos. My food was lacking in flavor, was not prepared correctly, and was cold. Just awful. read more

Note that a soft taco means a cold tortilla with a bit of slightly warm meat, cold unmelted cheese and lettuce. Not a bit of tomato or pepper, not even warmed up a tad. So buy the fried ones or skip all together . Huge disappointment (the soda was $3, tacos $6) read more

Taco John's - Cold chicken soft taco. - Mexican Near Me - Sheridan, Wyoming

The hamburgers were UNDER cooked. They are aware of this issue. This is Saturday March 15th.

Stopped here after traveling all day, disappointed to Find lobby was closed. Decided to do drive thru and take it back to hotel, was slow, but car in front of us had multiple orders so it was understandable and we also had a large order, but once we got our food it was terrible. The worse being the way over held oles. Threw most of food away and went to bed hungry read more

I finally went back and tried Taco John's again because I miss the super burrito. Everything was great. Friendly smiling crew, fast delivery of food and the food was great. I tried the new enchilada platter and it was fantastic. I eat there about once a week again. read more

GF review This is also a Good Times Burger. I ordered the double cheeseburger meal and asked for it lettuce wrapped without tomatoes of pickles. What I got honestly made me laugh! Basically two small pieces of lettuce, burger patties, cold cheese and all of the fixings (including tomato and pickles). I made it work but the meal just made me laugh. However, the staff was very nice and the French fries are really yummy which is why I still have gave 3 stars. Frankly I'd eat it again mostly because I'm on a road trip and a lot of places don't even provide the options I was given here. read more

Lettuce wrap burger available. Slow service due to limited staffing, which seems to be typical at this location. Worth the wait!

I ordered a burrito and asked for just beans, guacamole, and potatoes. The outside of it had shreds of cheese attached, like it was made on an unclean surface. The inside had a chunk of meat. Also a lot of onions, which i didn't want. The chunk of meat was really gross to find. They clearly are a mess in the kitchen. I'd just had Taco John's for the first time in Bozeman, and was enthusiastic to having it again. This experienced abruptly ended my short love affair with TJ's. The staff working the register were really, really nice. Hopefully they fix their problem in the kitchen and take more care not mixing meat and cheese with everything before they ruin more people's days and / or some religious person sues them. I definitely wouldn't recommend for anyone vegetarian, vegan, kosher, or whatever to come here. read more

I do not know where to begin, Taco John's was undoubtedly the single worst restaurant experience I have ever had. The first words out of the young man at the counters mouth were "i'm new and I never eat here" when asked a question about the menu. He didn't understand a single thing about how to work the computer at the counter and took 10 minutes just to take our order. Once the food was finally ordered it was completely wrong and it was maybe the single worst taco I have ever had. DO NOT COME HERE!!!! read more

Took over 30 minutes to get our food. The potatoes were so salty they were inedible and the food was so cold the cheese didn't melt in my burrito. $32 for a horrible experience! read more

Late night Tacos!! Great food! Taco Tuesday is a great buy for tasty tacos! Give them a try!

What a disappointment of a place to eat. This place should only serve their fries and tots. I got a "super burrito" today. It was a flimsy little thing, nothing super about it. It was mostly cold beans, cold cheese, cold sour cream... just cold. I didn't expect it to look like the photo since it's fast food but I was expecting to get some more meat in there or contents but it was this flat thing open on one end and pretty disgusting to eat especially since it was cold. This was my second time coming in and having the same experience, otherwise I wouldn't have written this review. Taco Bell gives you more food and you don't pay as much for it. Taco John's is pretty much only good if you want to be disappointed in spending your money. read more

This is not the worst Taco John's I have every been to (that would be the one on the north end of Casper Wyoming before remodel, or the Taco John's that time forgot that I visited once in New Mexico). This is a combination TJ's and Good Times. I think that may slow down their taco prep. On this visit, I made the mistake of going inside to order. I think that they served 20 cars in the drive-thru in the time that it took them to put my food together. They were not very apologetic about the wait, and they messed up that my order was "to go". The food was standard (tasty) tacos, and the salsa bar was clean and well stocked. read more

We went through the drive through. It was shortly after 2p.m. when we got in line behind about 4 cars. We finally gave our order at 2:20, paid at 2:28, and FINALLY got our order at 2:32. It was at least 25 minutes! We ordered 2 drinks that the sign said should be $1 between 2p.m. and 5p.m. When we ordered, she charged the full price but said she would correct it at the window, when we pointed the mistake out. When we got to the window, they had no clue, and it too 2 minutes for them to figure it out. The tacos tasted fine and the drinks were ok. read more

If I could give no stars I would this place is a joke of a business. We went through the drive through and we are the only car in there we pulled up to the window and then had 3 individuals come and ask what we ordered and it was on the screen in front of them. Then still gave us the wrong stuff and didn't even give us 3 items like we ordered. So one of us went without food. It was astonishing on how bad they messed up when 3 individuals asked! Would never go back and never recommend this establishment again. read more

The nicest, cleanest Taco Johns I have ever been to. ALSO, much quicker when it comes to preparing the food compared to every other Taco Johns I've experienced. I may have a slight obsession with their Potato Ole Bravos... little crunchy, salty discs of potatoes smothered with beans, taco meat, sour cream, tomatoes, cheese...even the horrible version of guacamole works on this messy little gem... Yum. I can't not stop when I see a Taco Johns considering there aren't any at all near me... even if I did just eat breakfast 3 hours earlier, must stop. MUST. I do have to say, I don't love much else at Taco Johns, I won't lie. BUT this place was so darn clean, woman at the counter was very nice, the salsa bar was so very clean, soda fountains spotless. I just never see that level of cleanliness in Taco Johns, I have to give them 5 stars for that. read more

"3000+ miles in 7 days" : dinners on the nights during the asian bus tour (from CA to yellowstone to mt rushmore to vegas) that my mom and i went on this past summer... spent the 3rd night in sheridan, WY and this "taco stand" was the only place within walking distance from our motel... better than taco bell...standard fast-food taco-fare...although they had frozen custard which was actually pretty good... so FOOD = 2 stars, CUSTARD = 3 stars! read more

Slowest service in the world... and they didn't have all my food ready when I actually got it. Showed up at 10:30 am in the drive thru, didn't actually get my food and leave until 11:15 ... I'm going to white girl the heck out of this and just say, I literally can't even... read more

My wife and I were traveling through Sheridan and saw Taco John's. This chain was nostalgic for my wife growing up, so of course we stopped. Oh my... probably the worst tasting fast food I can remember having. The "Super" nachos had nothing Super about them. I know some locations of chains are worse than other, but I don't think I will have Taco John's again. read more

We are from out of state. Our first time to try Taco Johns. We were not impressed. When we ask what comes on the super nachos the employee just gets a blank stare. "Uhhhh...chips, cheese and some other stuff" Really??!!?? You work here and don't know anything about the menu? After asking another employee we still didn't get the complete answer. Obviously the person making the nachos doesn't know either. Nothing we ordered looked like the pictures on the menu. The street tacos were skimpy on ingredients too. The only thing that we got that was close to the picture on the menu was the potato hashrounds. But....who thinks of hashbrowns when you think of Mexican food??? I guess Montana is just too far from Mexico to truely get Mexican food. read more

Waited over 25 minutes... At this point the food could amazing and they couldn't do much to increase from one star. A fast food place should have at least get you your food fast. read more

Nicest, cleanest, fanciest Taco John's I've ever been to. I have never seen minimum wage workers take such pride in their work. We stop here annually. read more

This was my first and probably last experience at Taco John's. The staff was friendly and the food quick, but the food was horrible. I ordered street tacos. I thought it was odd that the tortillas were cold but when I bit into it and the meat was ice cold that was too much. We had gotten the food to go and didn't want to make the trip back . The only reason I have the one star was because the tots were etible. read more

Extremely clean!! Food was typical Taco Johns, but we loved how new and clean it was! A for sure stop again...

The manager, Karen, at the front counter was the most enthusiastic worker I've ever seen. From Minnesota and would drive back just to order from Karen again. Also good quality food read more

The food is good quality for a drive thru. The service is atrocious for a business period. They don't get orders correct, the wait is on average, 8 minutes. This wasn't the case a year ago. For whatever reason, the food quality remains above average but the service continues to worsen. The service times were +/- 2 minutes a year ago, and those keep climbing as well. It's a shame. If they would apply the customer service principles I'm sure corporate requires and cut down their service times, they'd be an excellent choice. read more

Very nice place with excellent food and service. The staff is very professional and courteous and never get food wrong. The food tastes fresh and is better than any competitive offerings from Taco Bell. What I can't get over the last 4 times at the drive thru is the speed. Even with just one car ahead of me it's been 15 minutes plus. With two or more, close to 30 minutes. Plan your visits accordingly. read more

The food was great and affordable. The facility was very clean and pleasing to the eye. The temperature was very comfortable. All the staff were pleasant to the customers. Our cashier, Karen, was rocking that restaurant. She greeted everyone who entered and called return customers by name! read more

Way before Taco Bell there was Taco Johns! The Super Taco Bravo is a unique taco and delicious. Also, the Potato Ole's with extra nacho sauce are a mouth watering treat! Must go for fast food or a fun meal. read more

Awesome building, good food, but lousy service and dirty dining room . I think bad management is the issue. Employees are so busy talking and swearing in the back, they have a bell to ring at front counter. They are obviously too busy talking to clean dining room. There was only one other customer in huge pretty dining room, but finding good a clean table wasn't easy. read more

We live in Sheridan, Wy. Taco John's used to be our favorite fast food. That has changed. The drive-thru order accuracy is poor at best. Bringing the error to their attention is an insult to this staff. Very poor management skills for handling customers. We believe the animals are running the zoo. No management appears to either be on hand, or care to be bothered with customers. Maybe close the food service and open up as restaurant cleanliness support. If they kept the customers as happy as they keep their restaurant clean they'd get my biz back. read more

Food was good, service; poopy diaper. We arrived at 2:00 and got our food at 3:,00, we didn't even order that much too! Once, the food arrived it tasted good, but not 60 minute prep time good. Fast food, more like snail food! read more

We are from out of town and its late thought we would try it out and what a mistake that was. We went through the drive thru and took it back to our hotel not even two minutes away. By the time we made it to the room all the food was cold the boneless wings were soggy and disgusting. Even the ice was completely melted in our ICED teas. We were not expecting gourmet just a little better than Taco Bell. This place does not come close to "The Promise" that they have printed on all of their merchandise. This was a $20 smart knot! read more
