Looking for a place to eat in Sheridan. This is it. It is easy to find and has plenty of parking. The restaurant was clean and observing COVID guidelines while open. The staff was friendly and took our order and prepared our food quickly and efficiently. I ordered the Chicken bowl. It was delicious. The price was reasonable. My first time at a qdoba. The large bowls ($8.50) are more expensive than at Chipotle, but I love the cheaper small bowl option ($5.00), and the 2 queso options. I was happy they had one of those fancy, customizable soda machines. For some reason the food isn't nearly as tasty as Chipotle and I can't explain why. read more

First time here and last. I ordered the tacos and on 2 of them I literally got 4 tiny pieces of chicken, and when I ask why Ryan stated that was the normal portion. He did give me a complimentary 1 oz chicken about 4 pieces free after I made a scene and asked for a receipt to leave a review .. I stopped in last week for a quick bite on the way home from Billings. I have have really grown to like the town of Sheridan. It has a Cool vibe to it and I think the Qdoba will fit in well. It's a new location, I have have been to Qdoba for many years in the Denver area and I am happy to see that the flavors and quality are right there. Although I normally choose to take The Road Less Traveled, it's nice to know that you can rely on a good standby like Qdoba in a far-off place. read more

Do you ever go someplace that seems to be begging for a bad review? That was yesterday at Qdoba in Sheridan. The parking lot was empty when we arrived at 2:15 on a Saturday afternoon. Inside looked like a war zone. They must have had a busy lunch hour, and now it had died off. There were seven employees in the small kitchen behind the counter. That included the manager at the first station -- she was prepping avocados. Food was everywhere, on everything -- the kitchen was a total disaster. We stood there, right in front of the manager, for a good minute, before one of the other employees asked if they could help us -- the manager never said a word, even as I asked questions about the ingredients. The food was bad. It was cold, my nachos were made with every broken crumb of a chip the kid could find. The runny queso turned this chips into goo, so I guess the size of the chip didn't matter. My question to the manager is why, with 7 people working in the kitchen, was tidying up the dining room, not a priority? read more

I typically only post reviews when they are really good, or really bad. Sadly, this one is bad. I went in on a Sunday about 6 p.m. and ordered a chicken burrito and two tacos. The big problem was that everything was cold. The tortillas weren't in the press long enough to heat up. It was cold. The rice was cold. The chicken was cold. (I didn't have any beans.) And it was all so cold that the cheese didn't even begin to melt. Same story with the tacos. As I was sitting there eating, it felt like I was eating leftovers from the fridge. Definitely not worth the price. Besides, who wants cold Mexican food? Do yourself a favor and keep driving when you see this place -- there has to be something better in Sheridan. read more

Food was good, the store was filthy. My family and I were literally the only ones in the place around 330 in the afternoon. Every single table and bench was dirty and in need of a wipe down, the trashes were overflowing....meanwhile 9 employees were behind the counter. The bathroom was out of toilet paper. Wasn't the typical Qdoba I've experienced before, but then again it's been a while since I've been to one. Food (four bowls) were ordered as take out and staff was mostly friendly. Unable to comment how hot the food is right away, but within 10 minutes, the food was still warm. I prefer the other Mexican Grill (Ch******) over this brand. If you haven't tried it, I'd recommend you do. Always nice to have a different take/taste on a similar cuisine type. Tip: In regards to other reviewers, remember that when it comes to small towns/cities, employee turnover follows a revolving door mentality. When new places open, cooks tend to transfer. If the cook became lazy and took short cuts on food preparation and execution, the food taste and quality will definitely suffer (no matter the brand's established recipes/reputation) .. it's just a matter of time before that cook starts up the old habits at his/her new employment location. One of the biggest draw backs and frustration of small towns/cities (I grew up in one and experience every time I return home to visit). Best just to become your own culinary chef! read more

Okey dokey...I've been there four times at various times of the day and ordered something different each visit. Each visit was worse than the last.....while I watched my food be prepared right in front of me, it was not HOT. It wasnt even warm. I anticipated my burrito to at least be warm in the middle by the time I finally got to the table. Nope! Major bummer. While super cute...the beverage dispenser is a major stumbling block to smooth transitioning from the grill area to tables. It dispenses ONE beverage at a time. ONE customer at a time can get a drink. ONE. S-L-O-W. Between the inability of the teens behind the counter to pay attention to me ordering long enough to correctly prepare my order, the slow pace at the beverage dispenser and the lack of safe temps in my food, I will rethink a 5th trip. I was surprised by the negative reviews. We went at lunch and they were very busy. The staff was mostly efficient (although you can tell there are some small "new restaurant" kinks to get out). The food was excellent and up to te standards of the Qdobas I've been to before. Their queso is too die for!!! I love their fresh ingredients and everything I've had there so far has been great. I love the soda machine. There was never a wait for a soft drink when i was there ever though they were very busy. Someone came by to clear our plates after we had finished. The owner came by as we were finishing up to make sure everything was great, and it was. All in all....the service was great, the food was fresh and amazing, and the owner was helpful. read more

We usually stop at this Qdoba whenever we drive through Sheridan. We have people in our family with celiac. Whenever we order tacos at this location as well as other Qdoba locations they have always just put the corn tortillas in a folded piece of foil to heat them on the press to avoid cross-contamination. However, today we ran into an employee that was unwilling to use the foil because she thought it would burn on the press, which was completely absurd. I asked if they could clean the press as an alternative and she was initially resistant. One of the other employees said it would just take her a few minutes to clean it for us. A big thank you to that kind employee for stepping up and doing something for us. I would could give her 5 stars. Unfortunately, the first employee felt it was necessary to tell us, "We will clean it for you this time, but we can't do it again in the future." Honestly, we don't even need the press cleaned if they would just use the foil. It seems to me that none of the employees knew about the foil trick and could use some training. After today's experience I don't feel welcome eating here as someone with celiac. read more

As with the other reviews, I have to say my experience to Sheridan Qdoba did not go so well. You file in kind of reminds me of high school lunch room. There is an overwhelming amount of things going on and lots of food in front of you.I place my order of a chicken quesadilla, the girl quickly mumbles something a few times then I finally got she asked what type or tortilla I want. I get to pick the ingredients I want to some extent to put in it. After it sits on the press for a moment the girl stood there with her friend talking. The press opens and still, while the girls are chit chatting the one girl is POKING at the quesadilla. Practically playing with it, closes the lid. Continues chit chatting. Then the same girl who was off touching her face, the counter and everything else puts my quesadilla in the to go container. I did watch carefully if she touched it with her hands but she used a spatula. They then stuffed in the sour cream and guacamole .... didn't fit so she tossed it in the bag. Just complete lack of wanting to be there. Their chips have a really strong lime taste. Went back again... Never order the nachos to go. They put all the toppings in a container that blends together and just gets gross. The pork seemed to be under cooked and I could not eat it. I most likely will not be back. read more

I'm from California but had never been to this chain. Wasn't as bad as the review. They have apparently learned how to make pico de gallo anyway. So happy that this chain is now in Sheridan! I love the fresh ingredients, prepared just how you order it. It's a mexican food that doesn't make me feel like I need to diet after eating there:) That's not to say the portions aren't huge (I normally finish my burrito for lunch the next day) but it's not fried or greasy. For the price, I don't think this can be beat - I challenge anyone to find better quality food at the same price and speed of service. The portions are generous (i consider myself to be a big eater, and an entree here satisfies me for lunch OR dinner) and it is evident that all of the food and salsas are made fresh in-house. I feel the need to contradict previous reviews - the service was friendly and the food was always hot the two times I visited this location while traveling through town for Christmas. In fact, I even witnessed an employee taking temperature readings of the food on the line. For someone to insinuate a "lack of safe temps" for perceived cold food seems disingenuous at best and borders on defamation - this is completely incongruent my own experiences at this location. My line of work has me constantly on the rode and I have tried innumerous fast casual restaurants like this (Chipotle, Moes, Qdoba, etc.). This location stands out for the aforementioned reasons (quality, quanitity, price) and the building and environment is modern and new with fast and friendly small-town service. Oh, and the pop machine is just plain cool. These things are rare enough in the cities I travel through for work - to get my vanilla root beer and orange coke in Sheridan, WY was truly unexpected. read more

First for those who are not familiar with Qdoba it is your standard build-a-burrito style restaurant with a walk through counter where you pick your items on the other side of some glass, very similar to Chipotle or if your from CO a Big City Burrito. This particular Qdoba seems in line with others I have been to in the past. Having recently moved to Sheridan I have hit it up several times as my quick burrito fix due to a lack of options for Mexican on the go in the area. So far I have had no complaints with my food, all of it was exactly as I have come to expect from this type of restaurant set up. It seems much of the negative reviews I saw below are stemming from a lack of familiarity with this type of dining rather than some thing truly going wrong, but I may just be getting lucky with my food. The one major complaint I understand is that they are mainly staffed with younger employees who appear relatively distracted at times. This was much worse for the first 8 month or so of their operation however it seems to have toned down a bit and many of the longer term employees I see who have stuck out the initial rush are friendly and efficient. The beverage dispenser is on the slower side, mostly due to its touch screen based selection that offers many different flavors and twists of those flavors. I don't find it to be much slower than a standard fountain dispenser though largely due to the fact that I generally allow those in front of me to acquire their drink before moving forward to get my own filled there by limiting it to one person at a time either way. read more

After being to several Qdoba restaurants across Colorado and Wyoming over the past ten years, the newly opened Sheridan restaurant is right up their with big boys. The line moves quick and the staff was friendly. The management stands behind there work. Having witnessed a meal made incorrectly the owner himself drove out of town to deliver the correct meal... That is the best customer service I've ever seen. Other places in town don't do that. I would agree that the soda machine tends to be backed up with all of the choices it has to offer. Maybe an additional regular dispensing soda machine would help move the line along. Overall I'm impressed with this restaurant and staff, they have done a great job for only having three weeks. Like with all recently opened restaurants they will work out the kinks in no time at all. read more

Not only is the food delicious, the staff is INCREDIBLE! I've never been to a friendlier-staffed restaurant than the Qdoba in Sheridan! We were traveling from KY to Yellowstone and happened to stop in for dinner. The people behind the counter were meticulous in fixing the food and SO friendly and Kevin (I think that was his name) was cleaning tables and floors. He couldn't have been nicer or more helpful!!! LOVE the beverage station w/ over 100 soda choices. GREAT place! You should go! read more
