Overall (C) I hate writing a not so positive review…read moreregarding a small business but hopefully this helps them improve. First the positives, it's a pretty good value and the service was excellent. It's about $15-$20 a person out the door. The prices seem justified for the portion sizes. The service was super fast also quite impressed. Staff was super friendly and nice also. Areas for improvement - the food. I got the chicken enchiladas and beef tacos. Nothing special - super bland. Chips and salsa were okay. Basically nothing was terrible but nothing was memorable. Also there is no sign outside. Not sure what happened. If they could improve the quality of food then they would have all the things for success The food is not up-to what I'm looking for. But you may enjoy it. There were above 5-6 tables for a late dinner on a Monday. So not bad. Might be to your liking but not mine

Unfortunately, it took me far to long to try it again, because I learned that I've missed out on a couple of years of great food! This time I ate off the dinner menu, but I'm already looking forward to returning for lunch and ordering from the Taqueria menu. Although I'm not expert in Mexican food, I did appreciate that the food was fresh, not over cooked or covered with too much cheese, was plentiful, and not overly greasy. I especially liked the salsa, which was full of lovely and bright cilantro. Service was excellent and I look forward to going back. Each of the four people in my part was impressed!

Driving from Des Moines back home to Bemidji, we stopped in Albert Lea and decided to give 1910 Fresh Mexican a chance. This place is the real deal. I had the Al Pastor Tacos with beans and rice and the Avocado Sauce and husband had the Barbacoa Dipping Tacos with beans, rice and Brava Sauce. The beans were seasoned perfectly, creamy and delicious (something I always judge.) the rice was fresh, flavorful and not too salty. The barbacoa and Al pastor, both, were high quality, perfectly cooked, tender, and absolutely delicious. Service was awesome. The owner was cooking and wiping down tables and making sure everyone loved their food - and we certainly did. We come through often, and now I won't dread the drive! Fantastic!
