Instead of simply checking, the young man at the front responded with an attitude and repeatedly pointed out that our name had already been called. When my mother-in-law then asked for napkins, he visibly rolled his eyes. I understand that food trucks can get busy, but there's no reason to treat customers that way--especially when the environment makes it easy to miss your order being called. A little patience and courtesy would have gone a long way. The food was okay, but the customer service left a much stronger impression, and unfortunately, not a positive one.

Although I was skeptical using the computer screen, I found it easy to navigate and was able to fulfill my lunch order without requesting any assistance. The meal took a few minutes to arrive, but that was because the servers were freshly making it on the spot. I started to get a good feeling as I witnessed the chefs in action. As soon as I took my first bite, I realized I was mistaken about my initial impression. All tacos are prepared with fresh ingredients with a smoky flavor. The shells are soft and doughy. Juices from the protein slightly compromised the appearance, but the taste is fantastic! There is a salsa bar offering complimentary toppings for your tacos. The sides were correct, except I erroneously ordered queso fresco instead of queso blanco (womp), but the tacos were covered in tomatoes. They corrected it and made me fresh tacos in just a few minutes, which I appreciated. My first bite into the tacos tasted like pure salt. Unfortunately, they didn't get any better. They were also pretty greasy, and my stomach wasn't a huge fan by any means. I ordered them with hard shell tacos, which was an upcharge, and they tasted way overcooked. All told, I just didn't enjoy the dish. The chips were extra salty too. I heard the rice was good though. I'm probably being generous with a 3-star rating, but I'm hoping it was just a bad night for them. It does seem like this spot is hit or miss based on other reviews here.
