I instantly became a fan after the first bite! I ordered an al pastor taco and it was filling & DELICIOUS. The taco was packed, don't let the photo fool you. There was so much meat and filling, it was hard to hold in the best way possible. The food was prepared quickly and it came out warm as well. Theres also a sauce & toppings bar/section with 5 or 6 options to add to your meal! The staff were kind and the service was nice too. Cute spot and great find! I truly look forward to eating here again. This spot deserves more recognition!! I recommend you try it!

QDOBA Mexican Eats - A burrito bowl topped with freshly grilled adobo chicken brings the flavor!

TLDR: inconsistent portions, middling level of ingredients…read more Qdoba advertises its "free guacamole" everywhere, but they're really stingy about it. In my group of four we each added guac to our bowls, and the biggest portion contained a tablespoon at most. I dug through my bowl and couldn't find any guac at all. Veggies and proteins are shown no care at all. The vegetables are chopped into massive chunks making them unpleasant to eat. The protein is also unevenly cut, making for some massive chunks. This is more of a personal opinion, but the birria beef did not have great flavor. I received a lot more of some ingredients than others in my group - all the orders seem inconsistent in the amount of ingredients. I came here for a deal, and this visit reminded me why I don't eat at Qdoba anymore. At this price point I'd rather go to Chipotle.

Poor customer service. Clean…read more TIP: Sign up for Qdoba points system. I only had 2 visits listed on my app and I already had 4k points accumulated. I was able to redeem FREE chips and quac and still had 3k+ points left on it. Give it a try. Before I even had a chance to speak to a worker behind the counter I could tell he/she did not want to be bothered. Every extra request was treated with a leave me alone attitude. Food was very well prepared and organized. It's in a great location, right by AMC theater and variety of unique shops within a mall. Thank you for reading this and I hope you find this helpful.

A quick shout out to Rich W for recon on this Mex place that replaces a fav of mine…read more Gone are the pastries and Mexican treats but it appears the food is just as good as the predecessor. First visit an easy chicken tacos plus guac and chips. Very good tacos with sear on the meat and nicely seasoned with white onion and cilantro. Guac was very good and they asked me about spice level, medium turned out to my liking with just a little jalapeño, I like that their version contains tomato. Friendly and professional staff, will be returning to try more things, update to follow.....

GuateMex is a small Mexican/Guatemalan place that took over the spot Chencha y Chole once…read moreinhabited. The menu should still look pretty familiar, as it's got just about everything your standard Mexican place would have. The differences are subtle, as with the excellent tasting Chile Relleno--the Mexican version is chicken and cheese, while the Chapin version is filled with jalapeño and cheese. The fish tacos, as should be all fish tacos, use deep fried fish. Fish pieces were on the smaller size, but the taco was still sufficiently filled. Avocado, lettuce and chopped tomato round out the toppings, along with a choice of two tasty salsas. They were very similar to the fish tacos served by Chencha y Chole. Good as they were (I'd get them again in a heartbeat), La Casona still owns the top spot as having the best fish tacos in town. The Torta Milanese had all the usual ingredients, but the beans, avocado and even the chicken were layered much thinner than I've had elsewhere. The bread was better than most places, but overall the thinness of the ingredients reflected in the flavor. I'd pass on this one in the future. Words can't sufficiently describe how much I enjoyed GuateMex's Flautas. Mine were filled with carnitas, perfectly deep fried to a crunchy deliciousness, and the green sauce was the right call for the topping. Just killer good. Please, do not order these for home delivery if they're going to sit steaming in a box and lose the crunch--that would be criminal. Eat them there (they've tables!) or pick them up yourself. You'll thank me later. All in all, they're a welcome contributor to the Latin food scene in the area, and a place that I'll continue to return to in the future.
