We've stopped in twice and were not disappointed. Having tried all the Mexican places in Chino Valley, this one is right up there. Actually, it's my favorite.  Authentic family recipes. The refried beans are amazing. The burrito (not wet) was good but the chicken enchiladas were better. My husband got the Monday special, the seafood quesadillas. Delish. read more

I should have learned long ago to stop going here. 3rd time was the straw that broke my back though.....not talking about eating there 3 times. In fact I've ate there plenty of times, I'm talking about the 3rd time now I've found something other than food in my meal. This time it was a piece of plastic. Terrible terrible. Pretty much sums it up. Salsa was a bit spicy, so I asked her for some salsa that was a little bit milder. She came back with the same salsa and added ketchup to he salsa. My tostada shell was obviously old..... Chewy and stale. I noticed the people next to us told the waitress their coffee was cold. I watched her stick the cups of coffee in the microwave. Also, The owner had a relative eating there Who had a screaming kid that would not shut up. Will not eat there again. read more

Wow. Talk about a perfect hole in the wall mexican joint! The food is stellar. Very authentic, and prepared well. Haven't had anything there I didn't like yet. Small seating area with old, rundown booths. Generally a mexican television show on, or some latin music coming from the speakers. Staff is very friendly and the food is generally pretty quick. One of my favorites for eating in Chino. Located in a strip mall, and not advertised very largely, I managed to miss this place for years. So glad I found it now. Funny experience! Salsa was tasty but way too hot for the average person. I requested milder salsa and waitress brought out a bowl of ketchup! Couldn't believe it! My shredded beef taco was an old corn shell not fried( I requested taco dorado) no tomatoes or cheese. My nephews carne asado burrito was microwaved so hot it took 20 min before he could eat it. Meat was tough, also they should ask if you want chile in the burrito! Beware it was very hot he had a hard time. Overall terrible will never come here again. Overpriced and worse quality of food not good. read more

This little, unassuming restaurant in Chino is just fantastic! They were the first Mexican restaurant in Chino and have been in business for 28 years. I'm so glad we found them. With lots of choices for Mexican in the tri-city area, this is my husband and my favorite. Every dish we've had there has been delicious and authentic. You feel like you are eating a home-made meal out of someone's kitchen. The owner is delightful and the restaurant is clean and reasonably priced. My only regret is that they are only open for breakfast and lunch. Otherwise we'd be there for dinner regularly! We've had huevos rancheros, machaca with eggs, the ground beef omelet and a chile relleno with fried eggs on top. Every dish has been outstanding. Makes it hard to pick! Give this establishment a try if you haven't already. read more

Just moved from the big city, where Mexican restaurants are everywhere. Some excellent, some not so good. I love Mexican food. Been on many trips along the Arizona border, to Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Cancun, Cozumel, etc..., and the flavors in the sauces at Taco Corner are authentic. The chips and salsa that you are started with are very fresh, and just hot enough that you can still enjoy the rich flavors. I had the enchilada and tamale combination plate, and it reminded me of cruising on the Mexican Riviera. Everything was so fresh and tasty, and the service was outstanding. So far I've tried three of the most recommended Mexican restaurants in Chino Valley, and Taco Corner has them all beat. I will definitely be going back. read more

We are new in town and checking out the local resturants. We had lunch today Taco Corner. Yes the salsa is hot, but the food was great. We had a combo with a tamale & chilie relleno and a chile relleno burrito. The rice was fluffy, beans tasted like the were fresh made. The sisters that own and cook make everything fresh and authentic. This will be our go to for mexican food after trying several other mexican resturants in town. read more

I went to this restaurant with a friend and I ordered a bean and cheese burrito and he ordered a Carne Asada burrito. The female cook took both burritos and placed them in a styrofoam to go box and then put them into the microwave and cooked them for a long, long, long time. If the ingredients were fresh, it would've been way overcooked, so I believe that they must be making the burritos ahead of time and then freezing them and recooking them as needed. Regardless, no good restaurants use a microwave, it really defeats the purpose of a restaurant as you are expecting freshly made food. I have a microwave at home and frozen burritos that I can microwave at any time, this is not what I expect when I pay good money to eat at a restaurant. The bean burrito and carne asada burritos were marginal at best and with both of them the tortillas were very brittle from being microwaved and you had to use a fork in order to eat the burritos. I know it's a tough economy and it's difficult to make things fresh if you're not getting the numbers of people eating at the restaurant; however, poor quality food will ensure failure, so I hope they change their ways and start making fresh, made-to-order food. read more

my uncle,aunt and I went to this today and it was awful! The salsa was way to hot and when we asked for mild salsa,and the owner went back and put ketchup in the salsa. wouldn't recommend going here!!!!! read more
