I wasn't aware that there was a more deluxe option for the nachos my oldest daughter ordered. She was so bummed when I brought the tray over to her. She wanted them loaded, so we took it up there to request add-ons. I was ready to pay, but the friendly, smiling crew shook their heads and said it was on the house. Talk about service! Passing through town overnight on a cross country move. Got in late and saw this place was open, was more than pleasantly surprised on how good, affordable and overall awesome this place is. Food was delicious and more than affordable. We spent $24 for 2 drinks and 4 items. Serving sizes were large and everything was loaded with meat and toppings. We were recommended to Taco Casa from a self proclaimed taco expert. He said that he loves Taco Casa so much he would drive there from Piedmont just to get it, well today we were in Shawnee and had to stop. This is a brand new restaurant, it was super clean with many tables and booths to choose from. We arrived about 230 on a Sunday and the place was pretty busy. The young man who waited on us name was Logan and he was fantastic. We asked him what the top four best sellers was. He recommended the super taco, super burrito, the enchilada item that they sell and the tostada. We got all these items with no tomato. It was right under $20. The order came out quickly. The young lady who called out my name was wearing a mask and was super sweet. The tray was very heavy. Both my husband and I were very surprised how much cheese was on each and every item and also how much meat was on the taco. We highly recommend this place. The cheese did not taste fake or like it was pre shredded. There was a lot of meat, beans, toppings, and everything that we got and you can't beat it for the money. They have packets of hot sauce on a bar to use and if you want mild, it is in the back available upon request. We got waters to drink The soft drink machine is behind the counter. I have gone weekly to this Taco Casa and always received great service and usually amazing food. A few days ago I went through the drive through and my food was cold and in a weird lump in the tray. I spoke to the manager which I hated doing. They made me a new dinner the next day and gave me some Casa cards which wasn't necessary but extremely kind. The manager was great. My only complaint is the tortilla chips seem overcooked and unseasoned or taste like old oil sometimes. Everything else is 100 percent great!!!! read more

I always forget to add a photo before eating. The cashier Kristina was very polite thank you. The food is always excellent. They are busy busy busy yes that busy, so service took a little longer than normal. And that's ok. I'm not a baby because I have to wait. Taco lite was delicious, regular taco and a sweet tea. Turning into a bad Taco Bell. Short on staff and putting out incorrect orders when they are staffed. Ordered 3 burritos add sour cream and onions to two, sour cream and no onions on one. Order was repeated back over the speaker and again at the window. Ended up with 3 burritos with extra onions and one minus the sour cream.... Shouldn't be this difficult. read more

Food is pretty good! My only complaint is that sometimes there can be an abundance of cheese. It would be nice if the portions were more even instead of just heavy on the cheese with most of their dishes. However, great food and I love their hot sauce! read more

First time to taco casa. Upon arrival, the outside of the building was well maintained. We were greeted by smiling, friendly staff. From the entry of the front doors to the counter/register to place our order was clean. After we placed our order we went and sat down at a booth. All the tables were dirty and there was trash all over the floor. Then then called us for our food. We only waited about 5 minutes, it was super quick! The food was very hot!!! As for the flavors, consistency of the food, it is definitely not a place for me. It was bland! The cheese they use tastes like it came straight out of the can. The chips are bagged, not fresh. We ordered super nachos, super salad and super burritos. Although the presentation was nice and appealing, the flavors were not. I, personally, will not be returning as it was "not my cup of tea".
