Do not recommend the steak tacos. Nothing but GREASE! Not how it use to be. Steak taste like they had it marinating in grease in a crockpot. I figured it would be actual steak fajita cooked on the grill. read more

Let me start off by love Taco Cabana, I just don't love this location. I pulled up, saw the 2 for $4 tacos and ordered 3 chicken fajita tacos and one shredded chicken. Taco no tomatoes. I swear I repeated my order so many times but to make matters worse it was a different person who kept coming over the system asking me to repeat my order. And then to make matters worse they confused me asking me if I wanted it crunchy or soft even as I'm telling them I want the special and didn't see an option for cru chug tacos. So we finally get the order correct and she proceeds to tell me my total is $10 something and I'm like wait, 4 plus 4 is $8 so where is the rest of these charges coming from? Crickets - NO ONE responds. I get to the window and the lady tells me a different price, $7 something and I'm like can you please tell me what my order is? She looks at me like I'm causing extra effort and she says 3 pack flaunts and a drink - yeah, that NOT my order. So I reply, no ma'am, I had the 3 chicken fajita tacos and the shredded chicken taco no tomatoes and her response was "oh yeah, that's you" - we finally get the price corrected and I get my food. Not a ONE napkin in the bag, and before you say I should have asked for one, it's usually common practice to put A NAPkIN in the bag. They put salsa in the bag I didn't ask for. Get to unwrapping my food and it was a hot drippy mess that needed a napkin and I swear there must be a lettuce shortage cause my taco got a sprinkle of lettuce. Thankfully this is not my Taco Cabana because this would be my last trip if I had to constantly go through this to order food. read more

Taco Cabana - Soft Shredded Chicken Taco - requested no tomatoes but I guess they were running short on lettuce. - Mexican Near Me - Balch Springs, Texas

Helped me out with free tacos that weren't working on the app. Nice and active establishment.

Amazing service and tacos!!! Always stop in when in town. Kathy and Gloria are thw best.

Not only are the breakfast tacos some of the best you will find, the people who work here are genuinely some of the friendliest people around. Service is always great. Tortillas are always fresh. I highly recommend! read more

Seems to be short on staff. Waited at the counter for a good 3 mins with out even being greeted. Did not have several things on the menu. Food was ok. Margarita was not. Restaurant was clean but lacking upkeep. Use to be our go to patio. Maybe it was an off night. read more

got all the way home, no meat in a $33 order!! calling and going back and theyre already closed and not answering.

My food was nasty, soggy, not what I asked for at all. I wanted 4 shredded chicken bowls one without pico. I got two bowls without pico, no guacamole, no salsa, barely any meat on top with sour cream on one that could have went on all four. It was nasty. Shift change matters, because we had it a couple of days ago during the day and everything was fresh. Not tonight everything was disgusting. The drive thru lady had no customer service experience at all. I had to come home and put chicken on my cabana bowl. read more

Taco Cabana - Soggy lettuce, no shredded chicken, super messy, and cold. - Mexican Near Me - Balch Springs, Texas

I ordered my first order today via doordash. I ordered 2 cheese quesadillas and a 3 piece chicken flautas and a diet coke in a can. I also asked for salt packets and napkins and wanted 4 sides of salsa. I received 1 cheese quesadilla and NO sour cream and guacamole sides. I also received the flautas and my diet coke. Missing a cheese quesadilla. Called the store and spoke to Jennifer the manager and explained what I was missing. I told her I would order again and she said she would pack my order personally. I ordered another 3 piece flautas and a cheese quesadilla and diet coke. When I got my order I received 2 cheese quesadillas, Manager threw in another one for free. I also received my flautas and no diet coke. Called back and talked to the manager Jennifer she said that the diet coke was still sitting on shelf where the Dasher picks up food. However when I called the Dasher he said that an employee gave him my order. He didn't pick up the food from the shelf were the dashers get the orders. He told me that this place constantly messes up orders. NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN. read more

Nice tacos. Fresh tortillas made there. Wide selection of salsas for your tacos, burritos, or quesadillas.

In the evening this location if employed only by teenagers! So obviously they don't want to work. They told me to park once I paid and then the guy that brought my food didn't even speak. Maybe he was too worried about his pants falling off since he was grabbing them with one hand so they wouldn't fall off. Then they forgot to give me a whole kids meal so I got off and there was no one in sight once I got inside. Then a young lady appears and she gives me my missing items. This location is great in the morning but not at night. read more

I ordered online, and left a little late anticipating service may not be as fast as usual. My pick up time was 5:26, we pulled up at 5:40 our order wasn't ready upon arrival which I was understanding about. But, we stood around waiting an hour before asking for a refund. Nobody ever said anything to us after we let them know we were here to pickup, people came in after us ordering in store but leaving with food before us. Customer service was horrible, no one had a sense of urgency, no one reassured us that our order was being worked on. It was very disappointing. read more

I've been stuck in the drive thru line for about 30min this is the slowest/worst service ever. Long line behind me cars honking, this is ridiculous! People are even getting out of there cars walking to to the window and inside trying to figure out what's going on... They won't have to worry about seeing me here again. read more

Beyond Meat bowl that came out recently is so good, and tried it for the first time today. Whatever the seasoning that was used made it taste like it was home made. With the avocado, corn, zucchini, black beans, rice, and onions worked so well. Must try it if you haven't yet read more

I keep coming here for the food because they do have decent items but this is the only location im aware of that closes its dining room at midnight. The drive through is GUARANTEED to screw your order up, make you beg for extra condiments and treat you like crap. If its after midnight and you want to sit down, not gonna do it here. read more

This is a great Taco Cabana location. It is clean, the staff is polite and helpful PLUS the salsa bar is always full! Stop by for breakfast tacos in the morning, regular tacos for lunch, nachos and a marg at happy hour, or fajitas for dinner. You really can't go wrong here. Fast, inexpensive, and fresh. I love that the salsa and tortillas are made fresh in the store. Don't forget about Happy Hour. Cheap margs, and discounts on nachos! read more

OMG I went in tonight to get an order. it took them over 45 minutes to figure out they didn't have everything on the order the first order was incorrect they had to remake it which took another 20 minutes. they wete out of salsa, they were out of forks, they're out of tea, nothing was in stock, alls the management could do is shrug your shoulders and say it's not my fault and point to the ones in the back. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go to this restaurant if you plan on eating. read more

Taco Cabana - My hubby - Mexican Near Me - Balch Springs, Texas

I went to Taco Cabana 1/23/2019 and ordered a Steak Fajita Bowl. After arriving home to eat it, I almost strangled to death from a rubber serving glove that was mixed in with the dish. I contacted their corporate office and was offered a $100 gift certificate by their insurance company after almost strangling to death. Why in the h... would I ever want to patronize this restaurant again??!!! read more

have not been to Taco Cabana in years. decided to come in and dine in, surprised to see that there was no customers inside probably just one table of a family of four me and my mom decided to look at the menu and see what we were going to order finally decided to order only three employees one was making margaritas, The other was trying to look busy and I'm pretty sure they had a cook. waited about 10 minutes and no one said anything no "I'll be with you in a bit." both employees SAW US THERE. decided to leave because of how poorly trained and bad service. read more

Okay, I love all Taco Cabanas equally, but this location has some of the most honest, warmest people on their staff. My husband and I would come here for the Happy Hour (Guava Jalapeno margs!) and stay to eat. The food was always prepared amazingly, served hot, and always delicious. Anything we needed was taken care of with a smile and right away. They're salsa bar was always clean and tidy. Can't say enough good things about the staff here they are all just such great people who take pride in their service. As a customer, if you are nice first, even if the person taking your order is in a bad mood, good things can always happen. Lots of families and groups eat here, which is gives this particular location an elevated vibe, no longer feels like fast food. If you're ever out in Balch Springs, stop by this TC! read more

I'm giving 2 stars because the staff was very nice no matter how lacking otherwise. Been a long while since I've darkened the door of a TC; living as I do, an hour from civilization. Saw TC and remembered the fresh real food and great salsa bar of years past. Sadness. Two tacos, manageblectasking, but I'm now queasy... Brisket was fine. Though you really have to doctor the simple meat in a tortilla offering. The problem, which will keep me away for an long while was the beef taco. Yes I speak of the simple baseline ground beef seasoned and stuffed in a crisp corn tortilla. It has been a while since I've seen so much grease. One bite and I had to bail. Apparently if it sits they forget to drain it? I was offered a new one, almost made me feel worse. Anyway it may have been an anomaly and yes I realize I'm critiquing texmex fast food; but it promised so much more. Alas tonight it failed. read more
