I want to pay a special compliment to the workers who helped me and my family around 7 PM on Sunday, September 1,2024. I was on a very long road trip with my husband and my service dog. The dog had been in the car for eight hours, and we just needed to get out and stretch. He loves tacos (the dog) and we discreetly brought the dog in to sit next to me and enjoy some meat, lettuce and cheese. Unfortunately, he is not a voracious eater and makes more of a mess than he actually cleans up, and the ladies at the front counter had just swept the lobby and started to mop. When we left, I tried to sweep up as much taco parts as possible, but there were some things I just couldn't get with a napkin. I could see the disappointment on their face as they went back out to our area and swept the floor, again. They did not say anything to me, they were extremely sweet, extremely polite, and very professional. Well, I tried my best. I can tell that they take great pride in keeping a clean restaurant, and despite my ability to fully clean up, they went cheerfully and took care of things after me. Big shout out to these young workers they could have been extremely rude, they could have really given me a hard time. I am grateful for their hospitality. After such a long day. They have no idea how special that was to me. The food at this location was fantastic! Many of the taco Bueno stores in my area have been closed so it was a surprise to find a nice functioning restaurant on the turnpike. Thank you again for fresh food, wonderful hospitality and a quiet place to pull over for a quick meal. The service was great and it's the cleanest taco Bueno I've ever been to! The food was freshly made, I would definitely recommend!

First time eating at Taco Bueno and they should change the name to Taco Así Así. The brisket "queso" was canned nacho cheese with a dollop of brisket, onions and cilantro thrown in and the chips were so crumbly I could barely scoop any brisket onto a chip without it falling apart in the cup. The cheesecake chimi's tasted sour so I'm hoping I'm not painting porcelain later. Not to be completely negative, the brisket quesadilla was the one thing that lived up to the Bueno moniker. read more

A little pricey, but not bad given the portions. It is pretty on par with Taco Bell, with just a different variety. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was clean. Unlike others, the salsa bar remains open and fabulous! The rice and beans were a bit salty for me, but otherwise it was an average fast food Mexican. read more

Every time we've stopped here on our way through Oklahoma we've found this place clean with staff that was extremely helpful and friendly. The food was fresh and tasty and alway a ready in a quick turnaround. I wouldn't hesitate to stop here anytime. I even commented on how good the food was and the salsa bar was well kept and clean. The bathrooms were clean too (always a great plus in my books). Last trip I got one of the chicken potato burritos that was so good. Perfectly made fast food! read more

I'm a huge taco bueno fan but this is the worst one. I got a chicken quesadilla and a chicken potato burrito and there were maybe 5 pieces of chicken between both items. The tortillas on everything were terrible. In my bean burrito it was about 15% beans 85% tortilla. The taquitos tasted like they had been sitting all day. There wasn't one piece of food that was good. Inside the salsa bar was out of original salsa. The order took at least 25 minutes to come out. I came through this city 2 years ago and had a similar experience. Waste of calories and money. read more

I am giving a zero out of five starts , because what I asked for is not what I ended up getting. The street tacos I did receive had a soap smell and taste to the. The corn shell was super rubbery I couldn't bite into it. I spent $10 to receive the wrong meal thought I got an upgrade to the street tacos but it was a let down. read more

Clean dining room and restrooms. Helpful, friendly staff. Great salsa bar. Tacos are larger than most. Above average fast food.

My order is almost always wrong here and I don't understand why when there's only 1-2 cars in line and 3 or so people inside eating. The food is always really good when the order is correct. I guess customization isn't as popular here as burger King's or Taco Bell. It's still good though. Needs better management and better customizing options. Also friendlier staff. read more

This place is FILTHY!! Floors dirty, bathroom have not been cleaned since the place was built. And obviously there is no system is in place to check bathrooms on a consistent basis. Even if the food was perfect, the filth will take your appetite. If what guests see if this gross, just imagine how horrible the kitchen must be. I love bueno even tho most sick at making burritos. Well not this on stopped by here on my way home they know how to fill a burrito. Pretty much all the ones in tulsa when eating a bean burrito every time you take a bite there is more Tortilla in the bite than beans but this burrito i got here has plenty of beans in it. If tulsa did there like this one I would eat more. Oh and when I got the bag all the food was hot I dont think I've ever had tulsa be that hot or fresh. read more

Cheap food fast? Usually Taco Bueno is pretty solid. Not this one. The portions were small and some of the items were way past their expiration date. Went through the drive through to order and nobody answered, gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to just walk in and order but nope, the doors were locked even though their hours of operation clearly showed that they were open and employees were inside. Not friendly. Salsa was almost empty. Messy, no lids for the small drinks almost out of straws. Young lady at the counter never said a word to me or looked at me till I told her what I wanted. Everyone has a bad day now and then . Will probably not go back. read more
