The owner gladly turned off music that was playing so that we could converse easier. The owner and the waiter were polite, helpful explaining the menu and quick to refresh our drinks. Their 3homemade salsas weremild to moderately spicy and quite unique. We even received a bowl of spicy queso without asking. One of us had birria tacos which she loved. The tortillas in all the dishes were nicley browned and fresh. Our Enchiladas were supreme! Two of us had the roja with steak on top,one of us ordered the queso enchilada. Nicely flavored refried beans and Mexican rice accompanied. Portion size was huge so,sadly, none of us could order dessert because we were filled up! Highly recommend this cozy,family-owned restaurant for authentic Mexican food! Conveniently located off Southwest Parkway.

First they lay down a basket of homemade tortilla chips with a delicious salsa that has enough heat for spicy lovers but not too hot for spice wimps like me. We have tried their pazole, menudo, barbacoa, breakfast enchiladas, carne guisada and taco Sincronisados. Each were delicious and we are looking forward to the next trip to try something else or maybe one of these again. Another bonus is they serve homemade flour and corn tortillas; both are great. Service is welcoming and they ensure you have what you want. Definitely recommend - Just know parking lot is small so may need to park on street. Also, please note, the entrance door by the road is for to-go orders only. The entrance to the restaurant is through the parking lot.

The first thing I noticed was the menus were absolutely filthy and mine actually has some type of juice dripping down it and I had to dig in my purse. Use my personal face napkins, and pee to clean them off before we could use them. My husband picked a spot but had never tried it before so we decided to check it out for date lunch. I got a shrimp tostada, and it taste like it would defrost it in a water. You could not taste the flavors of the shrimp it had tons of jalapeños, which made it extra spicy. I put the sauce on the side, thank goodness. It came out very sweet but it needed more flavor and seasoning from my taste. My husband got red tacos and it needed a little seasoning where he liked it. I got an enchilada with nacho cheese that was too good and a red taco, which I didn't care for because it needed to be seasoned more.. The beans my husband liked for me they were too salty. The waitress seem nice and attentive. We never received any offers for a Refills, but I requested a refill prior to leaving from a different weight staff that I can get a hold of. Sweet tea was sweet and yummy. This place does not have a military discount for all of my Military crew Just FYI and for some reason I wanted tamales but they don't have it on the menu so that's just FYI as well. As always, you can come try it for yourself never know it might be your favorite place and what I received today may have not been their best work or something that you would like. Eat well.
