I placed my order through the Taco Bell mobile app from the Union City location on Industrial Boulevard on February 2, 2025, at 2:00 PM. My order number was 940257. It was delivered at 2:15 PM, and I am extremely frustrated with the experience. My Steak Garlic Nacho Fries arrived cold and completely unappetizing. The extra ingredients I paid for were missing, and to make things worse, my Baja Blast Freeze was not even delivered. I contacted the DoorDash driver, and while they apologized, they said there was nothing they could do to contact the restaurant. However, there was something they could have done--they should have double-checked the order before leaving the restaurant. Given how quickly my order was delivered, the food must have left the restaurant cold. That means it was never served properly in the first place, which is completely unacceptable. My meal should never have been sent out in this condition. I was really looking forward to trying the new Garlic Steak Nacho Fries, but instead, I received a cold, disappointing mess. My Baja Blast Freeze was the highlight of my order, the one thing I was absolutely craving, and it was nowhere to be found. First time trying the volcano taco and it was so freaking delicious! This taco had the perfect amount of spice and overall has the best flavor compared to all the other tacos they sell. Went in on Friday night to get a quick bit to eat. You have to order at the kiosk. Only one screen was working out of two. The menu is not displayed behind the counter, just pictures of items. You have to wait to get to the kiosk to see the specials. We had a coupon to use, but employee said we have to place a order and then send our order to the front register, but we didn't know how to do that and paid, and then she said it was too late to use the coupon since we paid. I ordered the combo meal which was the 3 taco supremes and a Sprite. As I sat in my car in the parking lot enjoying my beautiful view of Homeless encampments, I opened up my taco supreme. This place in near my home so its convenient to go to but I've been getting pretty tired of my order constantly being wrong. More often than not, there will be missing items, or wrong items all together. The orders are wrong more often than right. Today was especially bad. Half of my family's order was missing. My quesadilla only had cheese on half of it and it wasn't even sliced. I was their only customer at the time so there was no reason to rush. They didn't give me a receipt. It's no big deal to mess up every now and then, but it's practically constant at this location in my experience. There was another day where I returned a wrong item to replace it with the correct one and they gave me the wrong item again. When I tried to return it a second time the employee said "It's basically the same item", so I just took it and left. It's too consistent to be a few struggling employees. Ordered nachos fries last night and once I received my bag of food i checked it and noticed there was no nachos cheese sauce in the bag. I let the guy know at the window and he was nice to ask the back if the staff for some but the girl in the back come to the window with attitude and requested to see the bag after i have searched the bag, i told her i dont want to hand her the bag after i have touched all the food and due to covid going on for my safety. I asked to speak to the manager and some woman said she will tell the woman who I watched to change her gloves. I love taco bell, but this place could use some work. This place is run by kids, the service is slow, and the restaurant is mostly messy all the time whenever I go. I've learned to dodge the dread of waiting a long time for my food by ordering my food via the mobile app at least 30-45 minutes before I want to pick it up and usually it's ready by the time I walk through the doors of hell. If you love Taco Bell, you'll find ways to get it. I also found ways to save more money on the app given coupons and rewards, so I appreciate that. But honestly, if you're walking in as a new customer that's never been to this location, I'd advise you to stay away form this particular one, they're slow and they don't care. Last night (12/29/2023) at 6:35, I went to this location to receive my mobile order. I removed the beef from the 5 layer burrito and replaced it with black beans, but guess what! They put beef, no black beans to be seen. I had multiple ingredient replacements, the 5 layer burrito (no beef), Chulupa with no sour cream (they did not remove the sour cream). I also ordered the chips n cheese with jalepeño sauce and they forgot that. Definitely not the best location to come to, I had to go back twice so they could get my order right. They said they don't sell Baja blast anymore even though it's still on the menu and at the Taco Bell down the street. Anyways I got my nacho box it was a little messy and looked like it was just thrown together Only a few pieces of steak. Maybe should have just gone with a nacho bell grande if I wasn't going to get any meat The chips were crispy but had an after oily taste maybe need to change the oil more but otherwise it was good except the steak not being too much in it.
