Orderd a simple drink at 4:08 pm and the lobby was empty. Didn't receive my drink until 10 minutes later.

A place so nice, I came here twice (in one week.)…read more I'll start with the important stuff: the margaritas! They take a few minutes to make because unlike other restaurants, it's not some premise mix that they just add tequila to. It's made from scratch each time. The lime margaritas are sweet, but good. But my favorite is the Pineapple Mango Margarita. They have so many flavors and you can mix them to make your own. After seeing the Baby Yoda margarita on their Facebook page, my sister-in-law Tara and I just had to order it just because it was cute. It's just a lime margarita with decorations, but it was a fun little treat to receive. Now for the food: The chips are great and fresh. The salsa is not the usual Mexican food salsa. This is house made and reminds me of the salsa you get at Fuego on Old Shell Rd. (That's a compliment, as I love their salsa.) Their queso is thick and delicious. The shrimp tacos come standard with coconut panko breaded crust, but I opted for seared shrimp instead. You choose between flour tortillas or hard corn shells. I chose flour. I don't know what those toppings were when I read them on the menu, but I took a leap of faith and it paid off. They were AMAZING! As I mentioned in the first sentence, we came here twice in a week because it's that good. Service was great. Staff wore masks. They have covered outdoor seating as well with cute lighting and outdoor patio heaters. We sat outdoors the first night, and indoors tonight. Music inside is a bit loud, so we had to talk louder to hear one another talking. But if that's the worst thing I can think of to say (and it is) then that's awesome.

Hadn't been in a while and decided to give it a try. It was always good, just got put on the back…read morefor a while. Stopped in and ordered chicken flautas and the king cake cheesecake nachos. I was not disappointed! The flautas were $10 for 4 and were great. They were good sized and covered in queso and more chicken. The desert stole the show. Service was good as it always has been and PS Taco is back at the front of my list,

Made a stop while on road trip. Food was really good. Service was great, ask for Juliana. Ambiance…read morewas really nice and clean. Outdoor seating too but it was raining . We were there on a Thursday night and they had live music, acoustic guitar. It hit all the right spots for Texmex. Lots to choose from, menu is large. Plenty of authentic items too. Not sure why there hasn't been any reviews in over five months but here's a good one because they truly earned the four stars

I visited here during a client lunch and we had a group of 7. They have a lunch menu with some…read morereasonably priced items. Their salsa is served cold and is pretty tasty. We ordered a couple of the large queso for the table but most of that didn't ever get touched since we were talking so much. I ordered the steak fajitas with no bbq sauce. Very strange that fajitas in Alabama get marinated in bbq in the first place, I've never really seen that in other states. The fajitas came out and they were a nice portion, but let's be honest most of the skillet was covered with vegetables. For $17 these days, I should have expected that. I was still able to make 3 nicely sized fajita tacos. Fajitas - the fajitas were edible, but coming from Texas.....the food here is nothing in comparison to fajitas or Mexican food in Texas. Firstly, they are using the wrong cut of beef. This fajita meat reminded me of my mom's pepper steak when I was young which used chopped round steak. Fajita meat must be at least skirt steak or better. The tortillas were obviously not homemade. In fact they were so bad, I could barely tell whether they were corn or flour. Service from our waitress was ok and most others at the table seemed to like their food since they all cleaned their plates. T However, for me, this was an easy 3 stars.

The food is superb. The VIP Roll is my favorite. The service and ambiance is great. When I go…read moreinside it has been the McGregor and Piccadilly Square locations. I have noticed they have opened some larger locations and will visit one of them soon and will post pics.

I DO understand my local audience…read more This place is SOOOOooo bad in EVERY way that it blows my mind to find cars parked in their lot, indicating patronship. In any state, this sushi is a McDonalds pop up. RICE IS CR*P folks; it's got NO flavor, sticky in a bad way. TWO things to get excellent: rice & sushi fish offerings. ASTRONOMICALLY OVERPRICED BEFORE COVID, now only INcreased for BAAAAD sushi seafood. Eye roll-inducing wine selection; ZERO good sake offerings. Went there four, two and now approx year ago. The first time it was SOOOOOOO god forsakenly AWFUL I'd have testified in a court of law that that the place tried to put shredded CHEESE on my roll. TERRIBLY CHEAP INGREDIENTS!!!! BAD , watered down powdered wasabi. Obnoxiously loud, gimmicky, tracks. If the patronizing "music" does not offend your dining sensibilities, I cannot help you. ZERO ambiance; do enjoy your spray painted, dad built "booth" & torn vinyl coverings.( No offense to Dads) Each spot features two gents 'making' / assembling in this case, 'sushi' & a young woman tripling as hostess/ waitress/ 'bartender'. R&R how DARE YOU SERVE SUCH SHITE 'food' & @ completely INDEFENSIBLE PRICES???!!! More than pleased to NEVER SET FOOT in such a DUPEHOLE again. Head to Little Tokyo off of University for a genuine sushi dining experience-- I have no affiliation. Decisively differing experience ALLtogether.
