As Taco Bell locations go, this one is solid. The drive thru staff is always super friendly. I mean seriously... these people are nice, they smile, they give great service. The only thing I get here is the Nachos Bellgrande when I'm craving for some chips and cheese. I like the combination and layers and layers of flavors from the oniony taco meat, creamy sour cream, salty melted cheese, refried beans and fresh diced tomatoes. This place is close to my home, and I will use the app to order us some food and we pick it up for lunch sometimes. It's the typical Taco Bell fare....if you are in the mood, it's pretty good. I come here all the time by placing a mobile order and picking up by drive thru. This is one of the best Taco Bell's in the entire state. Clean restaurant, friendly people, incredibly fast service, and they never make a mistake. The food is always made perfectly, rolled up, and piping hot. This was my Taco Bell for 2 & 1/2 years while I was living in the area. I went pretty frequently because it was close-by and I'd get cravings often. The inside lobby was always clean and the soda fountain always dispensed good tasting beverages. Pre-COVID, I often enjoyed eating outside where they had a well-shaded area that was kept nicely landscaped with tables facing the street. The staff was always pleasant at this location, but they actually became even more so when COVID-19 quarantining began. In March Taco Bell did their free Doritos Locos Taco every Tuesday (no purchase necessary!) and I went EVERY Tuesday through the drive-thru. It sounds stupid but it helped me feel better-- like comfort food. It was one of the only things a person was allowed to go out and do for fun! And the employees offered a smile to-go along with it. ;) I really appreciated that. Sure, a Taco Bell is a Taco Bell and I have a Taco Bell in my new town, but I'll miss this one. read more

Anyway, this Taco Bell is exceptional! I went through the drive-thru at this Taco Bell yesterday and it was VERY fast. from placing my order to the time I got it I don't think 5 minutes elapsed. The guy manning the drive-thru window was COMPETENT, which is really rare for a fast-food place. He didn't make any mistakes on my order and was really courteous and nice, always an added plus. The food at this Taco Bell was especially fresh and of good quality and I really enjoyed my meal at THIS Taco Bell last night. I will never go back to this Taco Bell again. The customer service here is the worsest i ever encountered at any Taco Bell location. I came in at 8:30PM at night and waited almost 10 minutes and no one came to take my order. No cashier around. While 2 or 3 employees are there busy making drive thru orders they saw me but ignore and didn't ask anyone to come to cashier to take my order. I tried contacting taco bell to cancel the order and they never picked up and never responded. A month later I got a response where they told me to call them I called and the customer service rep Donna was very impolite and hung up on me. I had a terrible experience with taco bell. Whenever in Santa Clara and I'm fiending for that prepackaged Taco Bell beef or those cheesy Doritos Locos tacos I find myself sitting at this Taco Bell's drive thru. The drive thru is usually never too crowded or backed up and it's service is prompt. I ordered a couple of Doritos Locos Tacos, Crunchwrap Supreme and a Strawberry Frustista Freeze. There seemed to be a mix up with my drink as I said Strawberry, it was assumed I wanted a Strawberry Lemonade. As I came to the window, they did mistake my drink but quickly fixed it. I made my transaction and was given a good amount of sauce. The service was fast and relatively friendly I suppose. Always be nice to your fast food cashiers! *If you read Fast Food Nation you'll know EXACTLY why! ( Plus, being a waitress makes you empathize.) Once I got to finally sit down to eat my food at my next destination I found that most of my taco shells were broken and that the fillings were out of proportion. Don't get me wrong, I love sour cream but when you get more sour cream than prepackaged Taco Bell beef ... someone gonna' get a hurt real bad! The Strawberry Frutista Freeze is good, Mango just tastes plain weird. All in all, I guess I'd go here just cause of the location, but really? Bwoken taco shells? Over the past week I have stopped at this location 4 times. Each time earlier than the last time in hopes that I would make it before the dining room closes. No. Even at 7:50 PM they are closed for walk in customers. So I walk back over to my place - I live a block away - and after deciding that I still do in fact want taco bell I decided to door dash it. No. At 8:45 PM they refused the door dash order and cancelled it on their side. I would like to say that this was an isolated incident. But this is the 4th day in a row this location has gone out of their way to force me to spend money elsewhere. They must be doing really good or someone needs to check on the employees. read more

As this place is conveniently down the street from me, I visit here quite often. Every time I visit, not only do I enjoy the taste of the food but the niceness of the staff as well. Specifically speaking, the manger positively greets me when I visit, is very friendly to the point that he asks "How have I been?" and recalls my name whenever I come in. Although there is another Taco Bell in similar distance near me, I prefer to go out of the way to this location because of the friendliness of its staff. read more

This being a mediocre fast food joint, I don't have high expectations for them. It's located along El Camino in Santa Clara, so it's quick and convenient when we don't feel like cooking. I assume it's high school students who mostly work here, so I'm not expecting spectacular customer service. All I ask is to get what I ordered. And they manage that for the most part. I feel like some of them don't know their menu because there have been a few times where I asked for a particular item and they didn't even know they had it. Yeah someone needs to give the late night drive thru guy (Darwin?) a medal. I don't know how he does everything so well, by himself, in what looks like a deserted Taco Bell. When you pull up all the restaurant lights are off except for those by the drive thru window. It's a little spooky but it is open. I've been there twice when he's been working and he's always extremely chipper and on point at midnight. I think the best of example of this is when I make a bunch of vegetarian orders and then order an item with meat for the boyfriend. He always double checks to make sure I didn't trip and order meat. He's also never let me leave without forgetting to pick a sauce either. As for the actual food, the Quesarito (a burrito wrapped inside a cheese quesadilla) is pretty insane and great if you like all the food groups except vegetables. If you are a cheese inclusive person, that is if you do not dislike any types of cheese (even fake cheese pretending to be real cheese), I also recommend getting the nachos with cheese to go with your Quesarito. Just layer on cheese on top of fake cheese on top of cheese on your tongue. It's sooo good. I promise. read more

Food is good when it's fresh but not as good when you ordered first and get your food last and it's also upsetting that when you come back to the same place out of convenience to get the same fresh order of nacho fries as before, instead you get stale, soggy, and lukewarm nacho fries. This is the closest taco bell to me. The girl working the front was friendly and kind. So have all the other drive thru people. I've gone here a lot and it is hit or miss. I am not a picky eater the food is good and prepared properly. But the problem I've had is a couple of orders where I've been missing items. Maybe it's partly my fault for not checking thoroughly. But maybe I'm spoiled cause every other fast food place. I've been hadn't messed up an order for years. If I order something and get all the way home and the largest item is missing... This is the best Taco Bell in the area. The workers here are consistent and you can tell management cares about this spot. Today my man's brother went to get a grande meal and came back with the wrong order (eight bean burritos and two soft tacos - we wanted eight hard tacos and two soft tacos).
