I normally don't go to this Taco Bell because there is another one around the corner from me. Because of COVID it is currently closed. I found that out when I walked up to the door to get my husband some burritos for his hangover. I called this one and a girl answered the phone. Her voice was cheerful and she let me know they were open. Since it was before the lunch rush really kicks in I popped on Midlothian and got over there as fast as the stop lights would let me. When I walked in and mentioned what I was there for, she recognized me from the phone. Her cheerfulness was contagious, she was upbeat the whole time and if I wasn't wearing a mask she would've seen me smiling. My order was done correctly, no stray cheese stuck to the wrapper, no pieces on inexplicable meat, no smear of sour cream. Taco Bell is the only classic fast food place I can order a menu item without customizing it from what they offer in order to make it vegan. 5/29/21: This was our first time here & the line already had 4 cars waiting when we pulled up. The line was extremely slow. We were waiting about 20 mins before we got to the speaker to order & a long line of cars formed behind us, so we couldn't back out. When we finally got to the speaker to order, we were asked to wait. We waited another 5 mins before the lady took our order. We ordered 3 slushees, a chicken quesadilla, & another taco. We waited another 15 mins before we finally got to the window & then she handed us the THICKEST slushees I've ever seen at Taco Bell. It was like trying to suck grits through a straw. We had to add Sprite that I already had into our drinks just to thin them out. Absolutely unacceptable. The taste was ruined & it was a complete waste of money. The chicken quesadilla was okay, but the other taco was cold. I don't know about you, but I don't want to eat cold meat. I'm not happy with this experience. I don't have much to say other than this is my favorite Taco Bell . They are taking the precautions during this pandemic. My food is always fresh and the taco are always crunchy, soft, and they don't skimp in meat lettuce and cheese. When I ask for extra sauce, the always oblige. I'm here about once a week and I'll drive only to this one no matter where I'm at. Haven't had a bad experience yet. Just went to taco bell and this nasty old lady was so rude and rushing me trough my order and shaking my drinks in my face as I put my card away and ended my order before I could get my last one in and didn't tell me updated price. After getting the food because scared she would or did spit in it I asked her if she was the manger and as being a manger of a other store and being younger than her still no that is no way to treat a customer and she tried to slam the window then got all mad and said you should not be coming this late and I work in a food place so i know how annoying it is to have to make food so close to closing but for her to be this rude and older and not know her place. as customers are right and you serve to last minute. When I ordered a freeze and a meal at this location. I expected good things but all I get is spore mix drink like there was more powder than liquid making it more sickly than it needs to be. When I asked for something such as a 2 double chalupa supreme. I get a soft taco only, and I'm not even sure if their box is even working. I can't seem to hear what they've said. Kinda would like them go maskless to speak to us at the box then we come around, mask goes back on. I had to inconveniently go to another Taco Bell by the street of Walmart way. With this Taco Bell close by I often go here. It great with orders and getting things correct. With very nice people working. My only issue is the somewhat slow drive thru wait, but it has improved. It's completely random when the drive thru line backs up, it's hard to tell if it's just workers not moving the line or just many people showing up all at once. Stopped by this Taco Bell for a quick work meeting with a coworker and a late lunch. This Taco Bell moved very slow. There was a long line of people waiting for food and to order. The one thing that stood out the most was the design inside. When you walk in there is no room to even wait in line. Everyone is crowded on top of each other. I ordered chicken nachos which were okay. It was overloaded with beans and needed more chicken. Had potential to be tasty but way to much beans. The one positive was it was pretty clean inside. Worst prepared Taco Bell ever. The ordering process from the drive through was ok and everyone was friendly. I got a burrito supreme and even in the wrapper it didn't look right. It was way too wide. I opened it up and it was loosely wrapped and like twice the width as normal. Both ends were opened so the inside came out everywhere. Eating it was hard even with the wrapper. This place has NEVER gotten my order right. It never fails. The wait is always ridiculous and by the time I finally get my food and take it home something is either missing or wrong. I am a mother of 4 and every single time I get Taco Bell, one of my kids has to wait for me to go back to Taco Bell while the others eat. I guess it's my fault. I've had a number of bad experiences at fast food restaurants in the past. There's the experience at a local Wendy's 6 months ago where I was in the drive through line for over 10 minutes waiting on workers to pan fry 1 slice of bacon. There was a time at a local Burger King a few years back where I had to wait 10-15 minutes because they had to make French fries. French fries for God sakes. And even way back when, I went to a local McDonalds that never had chicken nuggets or fries ready when I tried to go there after working second shift. But my experience at this Taco Bell takes the cake. How did it go? To find out, read below. The Good: N/A The Bad: The Entire Experience- Last night I had a craving for some Taco Bell. Maybe its just me, but every time I bite into one of their hand crafter gourmet tacos, it makes me feel like I am partaking in an authentic Mexican cuisine experience (cue sarcasm). But this particular time, I just wanted to few of their tacos to satisfy the craving. I arrived at the restaurant around 9:20pm and got in the drive thru line which had about 7 or so cars in front of me. And while in the line, I waited. Waited to die, waited to live, waited for an absolution that would never come. But by the grace of God, after placing my order I made it to the front of the drive thru line at 9:45pm. Surely as long as I waited to get my food, they must have been slaughtering the animals in the back and making the tortillas from scratch to create a "fresh food" experience. But when I finally received my meal, I can say that the food quality was typical of Taco Bell. I don't think I will be visiting this Taco Bell location any time soon. Taco Bell was busy, I'm sure due to the after work crowd. Lines were long and I received the wrong order. I brought it to the attention of the cashier that even though I received the wrong burrito I ate it anyway because the line was too long to complain. After I heard her tell the back staff that I received the wrong burrito. The conversation was pretty much dismissing the fact, one person saying it was so busy but remembered my order. Needless to say no one bothered to say anything to me even though I was there dining in. I wasn't expecting anything because I did choose to eat the burrito instead of having to wait to get it redone. I'm debating on whether or not to say something about over hearing the negative conversation about the mix-up or just letting it go. I'm wondering if it would matter if I do say something to management or was it management that the cashier advised of the mix-up? I decided to bring my concern to the attention of the manager on duty. She listened and understood. She advised me that they have a "make it right" program in which they give you a coupon for a free taco on your next visit. I had already been given one for the long wait earlier. Not sure if this is making it right for customers with more serious complaints. Seems like instead of working to handle problems before they happen Taco Bell decided to pacify the customer with a free taco instead. Some issues would take training or coaching to correct. I sorta laughed at the free taco especially since I ordered a burrito and received one that cost less. Satisfying the customers complaint will never have a one fix for all solution. Hopefully Taco Bell will read this and change this "make it right" solution to satisfy the complaint at hand. A free taco coupon isn't the answer if you're attempting to keep your customers. It definitely didn't impress me. Maybe trying an apology would be the first step, since I never got one. read more
