Bean and Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito
Kolaiah B.

Went up to the order screen, first there was a seven minute wait. No worries, I wait even though the car behind me is riding my ass more and more by the minute. Finally I start to order, I ordered a beef Crunchwrap supreme and some nacho fries. The reason I tell you this my friend, is because in my hands here is not a Crunchwrap supreme. Instead, it is a been and cheese rice burrito. I had the pleasure of speaking to the rudest employee in my life (didn't even say a word while he handed me a bag ) and when I told him have a great day he said an enthusiastic "mmhmm." I didn't open the bag until I got into the parking lot and at that point I wasn't willing to challenge this guy to a rap battle over $10. At least my fries were good but dang dude, if you don't like my swag you can just say that.

Apparently these are 4 cheese roll ups with extra cheese

When you order 4 cheese roll ups with extra cheese ( it's literally like an additional 60 cents per roll up) and this is what you get I don't get why people choose to be rude, clearly this was done on purpose. I can see messing one up but, all of them? Super funny joke yall what a real knee slapper! Hahaha

Worst Taco Bell I've ever been too. Smallest portions and missing majority of my order. They need to step up their game.

Large nacho fries

This is their large nacho fry. Basically $5 for it being half full. This location always seems to screw something up

Nasty cold Crunchwrap.
Savhanna O.

If I could give zero stars I would. Sad excuse for a Crunchwrap. It's cold and had no nacho cheese. Also didn't get my nacho cheese for the NACHO fries and chips and CHEESE.

I also got the happy hour Elote which by the was the best thing of the night. For dinner I did the tacos. I did three. Quesa Birria, Pork Carnitas, and the cilantro lime shrimp. 1. Quesa birria- 8 was pretty good flavor 2. Pork carnitas- 5 this was way overly spicy. I like spice but this burned my tongue. 3. Cilantro lime shrimp-8 as well very flavorful The side for this was refried black beans. This was not appetizing. It was like paste thick and not very palatable Ambiance was ok sometimes hard to hear my friend because the music was a tad loud. But a cute place over all.

The Gringo taco and Korean are my fave! The queso is smooth and creamy. Margaritas are nicely balanced and refreshing. Service friendly and attentive. Tip though... Go during Happy Hour to save some money because it is a bit pricey.

Our Server was Miranda, who took such good care of us. Our reservation was for 12:30 pm and they were starting to get busier, but Miranda was so attentive and on it in every way. She gave us great service. The food was amazing, and everyone was happy with their entrees. We love Blanco's, and this is the second year we have been there for Easter Dinner. Good food and great service, and just a very pleasant vibe. Special props to Miranda, you are a sweetheart. Yes, we will be back again!

The restaurant was about half-full and bustling brightly indoors and on the deep shaded wrap-around patio. Our server, Branden, was one of the best servers we've ever had! Attentive and polite, even reading off the entire menu and describing highlights to hubs, who'd never been before. We were seated immediately at a booth table and brought complimentary chips and salsa. These are good fresh, thin chips and smoky mild-hot tasty salsa. Branden brought us a second round of chips and salsa as well. We ordered: - Coca-Cola fountain drink - Coke Zero fountain drink - SHORT RIB MACHACA ENCHILADAS 5/5 - Highly recommend - caramelized peppers & onions, yellow cheese, ancho chile sauce, cilantro. Served with sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, rice, & choice of beans. Classic enchilada sauce like how I remember, delicious tender shredded marinated short rib inside. - CARNE ASADA FAJITAS 4/5 (sweet soy salsa verde) served with blistered peppers, charred onions, jack cheese, guacamole, salsa fresca, sour cream, choice of beans & tortillas. Hubs said these were good. He did want rice with his meal so he ended up taking my rice which I didn't want. As you can see in the pics, the tortillas are scratch made in-house as well as the sauces and sides. Bar seating, booth and table, and patio seating available. Men's and women's restroom available for customers.

I recommend the asada, the hazz, the Lorenza, and anything with the beans. Order at the counter, they'll call your name when your order is ready, and the seating is casual and open. This location is a standalone with a decent patio. Parking is minimal but seemed like there were enough people coming and going. I got a spot right away. Note when leaving you'll have to go right - heading North on 43rd. The staff here were really nice! It was very busy and after ordering, I was standing with others waiting for my food when the other cashier called me up to check on me, thinking I hadn't figured out the process. He was very nice! The place was packed people finished quickly so getting a table wasn't hard. They also had someone cleaning up tables quickly. I got a carne asada caramelito and a carne asada taco. The caramelito continues to be my favorite of the two. Love the roasted salsa on the salsa bar though the hot red one is really good too! I do wish their guac salsa had more tang and salt. I find it bland. These are among my fave tacos but not my absolute so thus the 4 stars.

Otherwise the carne asada, lengua and tripa tacos were all delicious and generously portioned! They have grilled jalapeños, and a self-serve garnish bar with 4 different types of salsas, pickled red onions, sliced cucumbers, shredded cabbage, diced onions and chopped cilantro, lime, and their liquidy guac. We came back already for their crunchy tripas and will continue to visit for our taco/burrito fixes. Service: 5-stars - Open kitchen behind the service counter allows you to see how they cook their meats over the charcoal grill. Our order came out pretty quick. 10-15 mins max. It's a fast casual spot so open seating, no host/waiters but there are workers that clean the dining area. Ambiance: 4-stars - Nothing special but clean and open dining areas. Multiple TVs for your viewing pleasure along with an outdoor patio area for outdoor dining. Overall 4-stars - I will say, after ordering for takeout last week, the best experience is to dine-in. The tripas were not as crunchy when taking home to eat. However, if you like your tripas crunchy like I do, dine-in and eat fresh is the best. Tacarbon satisfied our taco craving but they also offer cheese crisps, burritos and plates that include tortillas and beans. Pretty good overall, but definitely still room for improvements - especially for the premium price point. Definitely recommend to check out if you haven't already. It's probably going to be our new go-to spot for Mexican food.
