I visited the Taco Bell location off of Happy Valley Rd and Lake Pleasant (Peoria, AZ) via drive through and had such a great experience. I have been a customer with Taco Bell for years now and have never had this great if service until tonight with the cashier Megan B. She asked "Is there anything I can help you with?", which is the first time i have ever been asked this from a Taco Bell team member. She otherwise was incredibly friendly and welcoming and is a huge reason why I will be returning to that location. This is hands down the worst Taco Bell I have ever eaten at. The drinks tased horrible. Not sure if it's the soda or ice but it had the weirdest taste. Went into the trash. The actual food was also not good. Granted, this is Taco Bell but still. Doritos Locos taco had barely any filling. It was like a wet taco shell. The spicy potato tacos had like 4 potatoes lol. Went up to the order screen, first there was a seven minute wait. No worries, I wait even though the car behind me is riding my ass more and more by the minute. I have been going to this Taco Bell for at least 4 years, and recently they are really getting sloppy with checking orders. They shorted me on an order a few days ago, and I called and the manager said she would make a note that I had been shorted and took my name. I went today for lunch thru the drive thru and explained I had a shortage due me and also ordered new items. When I checked the bag they had added the previously shorted items but shorted me again with my new order. I went thru the line and told the drive thru clerk and she seemed to care less but gave me my shorted food. Note both times I was the only one in the drive thru and the parking lot for them was very uncrowded. No more Taco Bell, they have opened a new Mexican food restaurant down the street that is much better and they double check their orders. Three months later, and they still have disgusting smelling/tasting drinks. Haven't eaten there for the past few months due to this issue and was hoping that they'd fix it by now. First thing I did after receiving my drink was popping up the lid while I'm in the drive-through smelling it and it still had that foul odor. Did not even want to taste it, asked to speak to the manager, gave them the drink back and told him to just smell it himself and he apparently couldn't smell it. They used to teach employees to double and triple check every order before going out, now they train them to ask for your change so they can donate it to a charity and claim a tax donation at your expense instead. I did an app order while running errands. I just wanted something easy to take home and eat. I have to tell you, I had a wonderful experience. The order was ready when I got there, employee was very pleasant and cheerful. I expected something to be wrong on the order because I ordered custom items. Well I was wrong. Everything was wonderful. The new chicken rolled tacos are great and the Cinnabon delights could be very addicting. I ordered a Doritos taco, 3 burritos, a chalupa, 4 rolled tacos, 2 Cinnabon delights and a large drinks all for $20. . Which I think is a great price for takeout. This will be two meals for me. I recently visited Taco Bell and had a really disappointing experience.(If I could rate it lower I would, but I had to settle with a one star review) The service was extremely slow, and just really horrible. I wanted to go grab a bite to eat with a friend and you know Taco Bell's not the worst, it normally hits the spot and has ok service, but this time was different. To say I was extremely disappointed is an understatement. To start it off I don't think I've ever had worse customer service. I was once in the food industry and to be honest it's not hard to fake good service. You could just tell that these people didn't give a damn about their job. And I don't wanna destroy their impressive career working at Taco Bell so I think I'll show mercy. They were extremely rude when taking my and my friends order and did not care whatsoever about doing a good job. On top of that they messed up my order by putting chipotle sauce on my burrito when I told them explicitly not to. They were out of practically everything which is by no means acceptable, they gave us our food and it was cold like they didn't even heat it up before giving it to us. On top of that they assaulted us by throwing our drinks at us which is a fireable offense in my opinion. To sum it up I don't think anyone who has ever lived no matter what they have done to someone in the history of the United States past WWII deserves such horrible customers service. I went to a tea party. I was all alone and hungry. On the way home I decided to be naughty and grab a crispy taco. I also asked for a bag of nachos with cheese sauce. I sat there a while after getting the nachos. They wondered why. I told them I was still waiting for my crispy taco. The nacho chips were not edible. The oil they were cooked in was terrible. I assumed they were just pulled from a bag not cooked there. The taco was crispy and delicious. I further specified to replace the red sauce with green sauce. Unfortunately, we got home to find the tacos were fine, but we had 2 bean burritos with no sauce no meat. I've been sitting here waiting for an order and to be answered in the drive thru/window/lobby door and they close at since before 1:30. I've seen 3 guys in there. all 3 of them are actively avoiding doing their jobs. one was standing in the lobby on his phone and watched me try to open the door which was locked and then while I sat and waited at the window trying to get the order I watched him open the door and give someone else their order. one of the other guys came out of the bathroom and was shagging up his hair for about a minute and the 3 of them still refuse to answer the drive thru. I went around a 3rd time and heard them finally taking an order for another car. once I got to the mic I had to wait 2 minutes for them to ask me for a minute. they're doing nothing in there. find new people to work the late night closing because this is ridiculous and they don't care about their jobs clearly. if this was for me and not for a pickup order I would've been gone. 2 other cars had the same issue as me because they were sat at the window honking trying to get someone's attention as well as myself because they're oblivious and are not making any effort to do anything but the bare minimum. read more

As a patron - My girlfriends order is ALWAYS wrong at this location, and it's a signature item now! A spicy grilled double steak burrito - they seem to always forget to make it "spicy" by forgetting the jalapeños when grilling the cheese onto the outer burrito shell. They usually correct it and give us a voucher for a free taco on the next visit, however it's very inconvenient to have to wait in the long drive-thru line because they are short staffed. My box is usually correct however as is comprised of a compilation of items they have always made. When Doordashing from this location, they've also closed up to three hours early by putting a sign on the door citing lack of staffing which means contacting Doordash and cancelling the order after driving to the location, for you to get hardly any pay (I think they paid half of the deliver fee of $3, so $1.50) for your 20 minutes driving to the location and waiting for Doordash chat staff to cancel the order for the location closure issue. read more
