This is hands down, without a doubt the WORST Taco Bell I've ever been to, let alone seen. There are numerous issues at the Pell City, Alabama location. First off, we get more lettuce in our crunch wrap and tacos than anything else. I'm not paying for a lettuce taco or crunch wrap!! Sometimes I'll ask, and pay for, extra sauce or cheese, and I never get it. I'm not asking for some freebie. I'm PAYING FOR IT!!! If the shells aren't stale, then they taste like old, rancid oil. The potatoes in the fiesta potatoes are almost always old, hard and overcooked. The chicken strip in the chicken strip taco I got today was almost too hard to eat. They dont make the freezes right either. I got a dragonfruit one last week, but it had no pink fruit swirl in it. I got another one today and instead of dragonfruit, they gave me the vanilla cream soda one with some of the fruit swirl only in the bottom of the cup. It is NEVER made the way it should be. And to top it all off, and lot of the workers there are just plain rude. You can tell they hate their job and don't want to be there. They don't greet you with kindness. They give attitude. And most of the time they cut you off while ordering and try to rush you through your order. It's absolutely the most unpleasant fast food place in Pell City. I've been to many taco bells, in many states, and this one is by far the worst. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Stop hiring the bottom of the barrel. Those people are ruining it. I don't know what happened to this Taco Bell, maybe new employees, but I went there tonight 5-4-2025 @ 8:45pm and never have I been to a family restaurant where the music from the kitchen was loud enough to hear in the lobby. Not a problem listening to music, but I think the choice in music should be a little different for a family establishment. This is one of the worst owned or poorly mismanaged restaurants I have ever been to. They are always out of something whether it be Lettuce, tomatoes,Pepsi, sweet tea, sauces or large cups. Usually you don't find out about it until after you get your bag. If you're charging a customer full price they should get what they pay for. Window employees need retraining on customer service for not apologizing for giving you an incomplete order. I've eaten at other Taco Bells and have not had these problems. read more

TERRIBLE. I'd give it zero stars if I could. This place is a joke. The employees were way too concerned with some girl that pulled up (after the kid working the drive thru yelled in my ear to get her attention because she was at the gas station next door), and of course we waited too long for the food because of said girl talking to all the employees. We didn't get the burrito, chips and cheese (x2), OR the Crunchwrap we paid for. The poor guy that ended up bringing the food out was in the kitchen by himself doing everything on his own and had only been working there a month. I'm extremely disappointed that the amount of bad reviews hasn't prompted the management here to change how they operate. This location is pathetic. read more

Very poorly managed. Ordered to pick up in the lobby several times, they always have it locked, regardless of the time of day. The drive through is extremely slow, like to the tune of about 5 mins per car. They wait to take your order each time until the other car is completely gone from the window so it doesn't look bad for their window time, and they're able to go slow. Order has rarely been right. This is the worst Taco Bell I've ever been to. I moved here in February and every time I've gone they have messed up my order. Leaving off the basic things like lettuce that comes on a chalupa. But this last time I went will be my last time ever as they forgot the chips for the chips nachos twice and put chicken in a bean burrito. The worst part was, the manager Susan who was extremely rude. They messed up our order two times. And then began to speak to us very hostile and threatening as we are trying to see how we could have the food remade or refunded. As a pregnant women I cannot be under a lot of stress and this lady was yelling so loud other customers were uncomfortable and stopped eating. As we were leaving and decided that we were no longer going to worry about the food and go somewhere else she still began to yell at us as we walked out saying she isn't under cooperate and can do what she wants. I only kept going thinking maybe people are stressed as we all are due to economy and our own personal problems and sometimes we mess up but the continuously messing up and acting as tho we are causing an issue by asking for a solution is to far. read more

This drive thru is always sooooo slow. I don't understand why it takes so long to make tacos, but the line always seems to be wrapped around the building. All I want is 2 soft tacos to tide me over on the hours drive home, and it takes 15 mintues to get them. read more

Since they have opened the new one a few doors down and hired a completely new crew this place has completely turned around! Great service every time. Everyone is so friendly. The drive through is always busy but they get food out in no time. read more

This is the worst taco bell I've ever visited. I stopped by for breakfast and to my dismay, the lunch menu was presented. I spent a few minutes determining my order only to then be informed they are not serving lunch, only breakfast. How are you not going to present the menu with the food that is currently being served? This place has gotten a lot better since the remodel. They have a good staff and managers. They keep the place stocked with the food items now and the old managers did not. The food is always right and it is a lot better to get out of this location as well. read more

Yes I get it you are short staffed, but there is no reason for you to be open if you can't deliver food in less than 20 minutes. Forget breakfast at this place. I was there at 7:15 AM., one employee their, and was told that they were not open yet. Once before at 7:15 AM., they were out of bacon. Recently, at about the same time, two employee's were emptying the garbage, no one was in the restaurant to take our order, they saw us, and did not even wave us off, or try to go back inside and serve us at the drive thru... This USED to be the best fast food in Pell City. The last manager was fantastic and took pride in his job and location. Since new management has taken over, we have watched it go downhill further and further. The staff is rude and the manager B.J. Is worse. 4 out of 5 of of the last times we have gone, our orders were wrong not once but again even after they were done again! The manager lied about giving her manager's contact info and then gave us a BLANK receipt and told us to use the info on it to complain online. I spoke with her GM finally and will not return until serious change occurs. Last time we went in to complain about an incorrect order, a lady that told me she didn't even work at that store proceeded to involve herself and go in kitchen to work on our order without washing hands. When I moved to this town 10 years ago, I was excited that it had a Taco Bell (one of my favorite places to eat). After a number of bad experiences, I no longer consider it to have one. Very slow service, and the drive thru is built in such a way that you are trapped and can't leave until you go all the way through it. Several times they have been out of major ingredients. Once they were even out of meat! I didn't find this out until I ordered at the drive thru and then was trapped for 15 minutes before I could leave and eat elsewhere. I once had to wait 45 minutes for my food inside. The employees seem rather apathetic about their jobs. I've had cold food, and food thrown together so sloppily it was difficult to eat. After not eating there for several years, I heard they were under new management and decided to give them another chance. The first time was pretty good. After that, it went right back to the same as before. So once again, if someone asks me if we have a Taco Bell, I tell them, "not one that counts". read more
