Among the franchised chains I prefer Taco Bell to Del Taco. Having said that one reason being the kiosk business model gets your order quicker and more precise than ordering from a person directly. An almost comical level of incompetence. What can I say about this taco bell location? The only thing that could make it worse is if was just closed down. They close at random times when they feel like it. They can't take mobile orders. You can go there in the morning and they don't have coffee. They don't feel like making it, I guess. You ask for salsa packets and she throws in a handful of fire packets, not understanding what you mean. As soon as you pull up to the window, you are given your food by a woman who would rather be anywhere else. She hates working there, and she hates dealing with you. Manager and team are great. After Last Night - (8/15/2020 - (1 Star) Well, as with every good thing that comes to an end, I say my good byes to what was once a great place to eat at. I can't tell you the amount of times that I raved about this place, it's managers, employees, accuracy and quality of food, etc. That changed last night before I could even finish placing my order. The gentlemen in the picture who took my order continually interrupted me with "will that be all". I mean at least 10 times after every thing I ordered. No room or space to think and place the order for the next item. Was a rather large order $50. This I can forgive - I understand maybe he was in a rush or under a lot of pressure to get to the next car that wasn't behind me. Or maybe just skeleton crew thus he had other things to do. I pulled up to pay for my order and he takes my card and quickly tells me to go around to the double doors. So I do. No big deal on this. I go and pull up to double doors. When he comes out to deliver my items he mumbles something and then goes back in. We then waited as we knew we had drinks too. He comes back out and delivers those and mumbles something and goes back in. So we sit there thinking maybe he is coming back with our straws and maybe sauces. No. Give or take 5 minutes later the guy never comes back out, so we have to go to the drive thru again. What ensued was a very rude and indifferent employee reminiscent of what you get at the other places. I told him that I had never received rude service here before and that he was the first one. I told him he didn't even give us straws or sauces. This guy proceeded to say we didn't ask for sauces. Wait a minute - isn't it his job to offer us some? So should I have asked for tortillas and each item in them in order to make sure they are included? Then I asked him if we weren't entitled to straws and we needed to ask for those too? He didn't like it. Proceded to su something under his breath and act like a fool. Not the experience I expected. To say the least. If they're out of something, you won't receive any communication and might receive a lousy coupon in its place. I order two nacho fries and a black bean Crunchwrap without sour cream. My fries were not included and I can't use the coupons because they're only available for tacos, which I don't eat. My Crunchwrap was over 50% lettuce. Had they told my driver that I wouldn't have fries beforehand I wouldn't be as upset. This is hands down our favorite Taco Bell location!! The employees have such great attitudes and go above and beyond. We were served by Lonnie I believe last time we ordered and they showed an exemplary level of service- you can really tell they care about the quality of their product and their customer service. We ordered at 1am and even though I would imagine it's hard to work that late Lonnie maintained such positive energy and was very patient answering all our questions. Watch the price they are charging you! It probably isn't the advertised price if you upgrade the protein. Normally, I am not one to complain, but I noticed that the price after my order screen was not the advertised price for my order. The #2 Grilled XXL Burrito Combo with Steak is advertised at $7.99 on the menu. I noticed when they rang in the order that they added a $2.00 upcharge for steak, and I informed them that menu states that the advertised price $7.99 for steak combo not $9.99. I didn't want to hold up the line, so I took a quick photo of the menu to show them at the window that the price is listed at $7.99. After showing them the picture, they agreed that they weren't charging the advertised price and said that they couldn't do anything about it. See photos of the menu and the price on the receipt. I went there at 11:50 AM on a Friday. Hardly any traffic at the drive-thru and only a couple of people inside. I went to the counter to place my order. No one was there. The guy making the food just looked at me, the lady at the drive-thru just looked at me, the red shirt manager seemed to be hiding in the back. Nobody said anything to me. I finally ordered at the kiosk. Once I got my food, Iwas in there about 15-20 minutes, and no one ever came to the counter to take orders. Every customer either had to use the kiosk (2 people) or just leave (1 person). Very unfriendly and unprofessional. I think the regional manager was there, a guy not in a Taco Bell uniform was in the kitchen area on his phone, never said anything. Never going back. This Taco Bell decides when they want to be opened. I've come here twice to them being randomly closed once for breakfast and once for late night dinner. For breakfast, I came around 8:45 on a Saturday and no one was there. I even drove around to the window and no one answered. I love Taco Bell. Like, seriously LOVE it. There are so many things that can make me hate a particular Taco Bell location, and so few that ever have what I love in a location. This one is the best around. Here's why I love this particular location and hate others in my area: 1) Speed- They are so efficient in their drive-thru. One day I went over and there was a bit of a line and there were workers outside letting everyone in line know that their credit card machine just went down, but they'd be back up in a few minutes-- and sure enough, they were. 2) Quality of Food- This is a biggie for me. How hard is it to make sure that the food you're serving is fresh and full of flavor? This location, hands down, has the most delicious food!! 3) Accuracy of Order- This is my make it or break it item. I never order my food with beef (don't ask). When I order a taco supreme without beef, I expect to open my taco and not see beef or beans (don't assume I want beans). This location has yet to mess up one of my complicated orders! 4) Price! Believe it or not, when I use the Taco Bell App (if you don't use it yet, you're cray-cray), and it's set to my home Taco Bell (in Johns Creek/Suwanee), my food is easily $3-$5 more than what it costs at this location. Same holds true for the Taco Bell/KFC on State Bridge. This location has the best price in town!! 5) Kindness- The workers at this location are SO NICE!!! 6) Cleanliness- This location is spotless. Was so excited several years ago when I they opened a Taco Bell so close to my home. In the beginning, this location was great and I was there all the time. But lately, they get my order wrong about 75% of the time, whether I order online, inside, or at the drive-thru. I'm actually shocked if my order is correct nowadays. I always upgrade from beef to steak and add tomatoes. These both cost more, and although I'm always charged for the upgrades, I rarely receive them. I've even started asking for the tomatoes on the side, but still no luck. It's gotten to where if I go there, I don't leave w/o checking the order, which means unwrapping most of the food. They're frequently out of items as well, and if you order online, there's no refund, according to what an employee told me. I have much better luck at the Johns Creek & Pleasant Hill locations, so if I'm really craving my gordita and have the time, I make the drive to one of those. Such a shame. read more
