Our Ojai Valley Taco Bell and employees are the best. The food is always good and prepared well. Not messy. I like to go inside and use the kiosk to order. I've had trouble getting the hang of it. I have had a couple of bad experiences using the kiosks, once I put in a large order to go for multiple people and when I had was almost done the kiosk rebooted and I lost my order. Another time I went in and some homeless people with filthy hands were ordering and it really made me rethink on touching that screen. They have removed the overhead menu, so you can't figure out what you want now. Last few times the staff have taken our order at the counter and that has been nice. I came here with my grandchildren and when we got in we saw the restaurant workers making out in the other room. Me and my grandchildren were waiting at the counter until the workers came over. We ordered the chicken nuggets, Mexican pizza, and we got the burrito but it all was just bad. At least the sour cream was super fresh. read more

I've been to this Taco Bell more times than I can count over the past years I've lived in Ojai. The staff is always polite and professional and the food is made quickly and relatively accurately. I like that their new drive through process includes a confirmation LCD screen that shows you what the order-taker took down. This is especially useful for my husband and I since we usually want all kinds of customizations to our food. Love it! I've also stopped here many times just to use the bathroom when I can't quite make it home. :P I figure all the times I eat food here and don't use their restroom make up for the few times I do the opposite. The store is clean and they keep the place nicely landscaped outside. A little hard to find with the odd street system just off the main drag, but easy if you're driving south. read more

This location gets 5 stars because the place was spotlessly clean, service was fast as fast food should be, the ladies didn't screw up my custom order, they smiled and thanked me, and gave me a survey with a peppermint taped to it. Taco Bell in Ojai is a gem. They are fast, friendly and consistent. It's Taco Bell, you know what you're getting and in a town that goes to bed early, it's nice to have this as one of few late night fast food options. This location has a large dining room and a drive thru. read more

They are loosing a lot of business by not being open for walk ins. A lot of us drive work vehicles too large for the drive thru. Our only option has been to walk in. It doesn't make sense since the restaurants are open now. read more

The drive-up window operates like a well-oiled machine, and the dining area inside is well-maintained and kept clean as can be. That's why I give it a 4 and not a 5 because it's a taco bell you only go when you have no other choice but the big 3 (TacoBell, Wendy's, McDonald's). I have traveled across the country and I make it a point to stop at Taco Bell's when they are available. I am fortunate to live in Ojai not just for the beautiful area itself, but we have the absolute best Taco Bell in the country right in our back yard! The staff is very friendly and will bend over backwards to make sure you are happy. If they did not get the order correct, just hand it back to them and they take care of it without a problem.
