It had been so long since I had really good rice and beans I forgot how much I liked them. Both cooked just like I like them. I can't stand thick beans and dried out rice. Enchiladas were great. Gentleman behind the counter was great. Love that you can literally customize your order however you please. Portion was large, literally enough for 3 meals for me. So, a late night snack and lunch. When I arrived home, and sat down to eat, there was only grilled chicken, rice, and cheese sauce. There were no tortillas, no onions, and no green peppers. I'm hoping that this was not done intentionally and I am willing to give them another chance. Maybe fajitas are not served with tortillas here, but they always have been at other Mexican restaurants in Natchez. On the plus side, what was on the plate is quite good. It had a lot of well seasoned chicken strips, and the cheese sauce over the rice is good as well. The server was a young African American woman that took our order, served it about twenty minutes later and then completely ignored us for the next hour. When I finally called out to her from across the room when she was talking to who I think was the cook, she gave me the worst "go to hell" look I ever saw. Later, when I tried to get her attention again, it was the cook who was standing nearby that got her to come over. When two o clock finally rolled around, she announced that they were closed and we had to leave, which wasn't a problem because we were done and were just hanging out. The issue that was a problem was that I'm in a wheelchair and she blocked the exit with a rope and was annoyed that she had to move it so that I could get by with my chair. Huge cultural divide that I don't think that we deserved. Inappropriate and uncalled for. Doubt that we will go back. Not the same place that it used to be.

I was a bit surprised on the prices thinking they would be a little less being that we were 1. in Mississippi 2. this is not a high end establishment, but being from Nashville, the prices were comparable to what we pay at a mid-range Italian place in our city. Just be prepared and do not have expectations that you are paying less just because you're in MS, lol. Service was iffy. That was one thing I can't really attest to. For starters, on the first night, we saw a couple of waitresses "getting into it" and though they were in their own little corner, they were still obviously heated with one another. The second visit was fine, but we saw our server very little, and we had to fetch her to get more water. Overall, the experiences were fine. I think it is worth coming for drinks at minimum if you do not dine here.
