Haven't eaten at this Taco Bell in forever because of how horrible the service is...decided to try them this morning for breakfast at 8:30 (sign says open at 8) well no answer on the intercom, screen still shows lunch and dinner, and when I drive up to the window I'm met with 3 associates looking at me while talking to each other...before all that they couldn't even fulfill a basic order.... Weird to be tossing out 5 stars to a Taco Bell, especially when they are still out of the Mexican Pizza, but this location definitely deserves it. This location sits on the corner of Charlotte Pike and Annex Avenue, diagonally across from the Publix and Panda Express, depending on which way you are coming. It underwent a renovation in the past year and it is still in great condition and the interior is kept quite clean. Drive thru is always timely, as is the counter service. Additionally, the service here is always top notch for a Taco Bell. No attitudes, just friendliness and tacos. Overall, solid Taco Bell location that I will certainly swing by when that craving hits! read more

This is by far the worst place to get a late-night delivery order from. There is no other restaurant that can compete with their inability to provide you with what you actually pay for. I dare you to try. I've ordered from them twice. I'll be able to say that when I've left this world too because it will never happen again. These people that work the late shift are so remarkable. They will give you just anything they feel like putting in the bag. I'm absolutely sure that if each and every one of them had to count to eleven you would catch them with their shoes off. if you're the owner of this establishment it is time to wipe this place clean and have a grand reopening. This is the BEST Taco Bell. Whoever started managing it after the remodel has done an awesome job! I wish I knew her name, but she is so kind and so is her staff. They are the only place on this corner open late and even with a big line it goes quick and they are seriously NEVER stressed or have a "I hate my job" attitude. Having had so many crap experiences at so many different Taco Bell locations, this location broke the camel's back, and I will not be giving them any more of my money. The first time they got my order wrong and the second time everything was ice cold and the "nachos" was a teaspoon of cheese on a bunch of flavorless, stale chips. I went for an empanada, but all I got was an argument. The caramel apple empanada at Taco Bell is probably my favorite fast-food dessert. It is hot, sweet, delicious, and cheap. I had a hankering for one, so I stopped at my local Taco Bell. It was a few minutes before midnight. There was a line, and it wasn't really moving. The car in front of me waited at least four minutes before anyone came to the intercom, and the drive-through server gave her a bit of an attitude, but that's not my problem. When it came time to order, it was short and sweet, he was relatively friendly, and I was headed to get my pie. The woman in front of me had driven off, and I assured him that I was only there for my empanada. He tells me it will be a six-minute wait. I had time. I said that was no problem, and he cheerfully offered to give me a second one on the house for my trouble. The manager of the restaurant was now in the drive-through window, yelling at the kid who had taken my order, like the drive-off was his fault. Then he starts in on my order. He asked the kid, "Why didn't you tell him we were out of these? It will take 10 minutes!" Like I can't hear him there with the window open. When the kid said he thought it was only six minutes, the manager says, "We can't serve them when they're freshly cooked, they are too hot, it's a huge liability. He could burn his mouth, have to go to the hospital, we get sued." Mind you, I only came in looking for a fried pie, not a courtroom drama. So I spoke up to that effect. I then get some kind of circuitous story about changing the grease, normally they don't take orders for fried food so late (despite the fact that they were going to be open another hour and there are several fried items on the menu). He asked me if I wouldn't rather have something else. I assured him that I was set on an empanada and that I really didn't mind waiting. He made a face. Like, an actual "you've got to be kidding me" face, and at that moment, I challenged him. "You really don't want me to have this pie, do you?" Then, the manager effusively starts pouring it on: "Oh no, sir, not at all sir, if this is all you want sir, I will get it for you. Sir, I have worked all over the world. I have waited on kings, princesses. If this is what you want sir, I absolutely want you to have it, by all means, yes sir, my entire life has led up to this moment, sir." The snark was unbelievable. "Please, sir, just pull forward, sir, I'll get it right away for you sir." Mind you, he still hasn't put in the order. He still hasn't dropped the pie. If he had just started cooking it when I ordered it, I'd have it by now. When I called him on his attitude, I knew it was never going to happen. I told him I was going. "Oh, thank you, thank you, sir," the manager shouted as I pulled away. Thanks for nothing. I don't even have a receipt that I can leave a comment with on the Taco Bell website. So I'm going to fry them here in this Yelp review. I don't know if it will change anything, but I feel better. read more

Yes, this is the Taco Bell closest to my House. Yes, I have seen some crazy stuff here. (like the guy who's shirt didn't fit AT ALL, not even close, but he didn't seem to care one little bit). But they've always done right by me when that desire for the old "Pizzazz Pizza" strikes (This is how you know I'm old) Normally I'd have gotten a picture of the outside, but that might prove I've been there one too many times (Damn you, Pizzazz Pizza!) but if the nearby Chick-A-Filla is closed because its a Sunday, you can't go wrong at Taco Bell. read more

This is the worst Taco Bell I went in for breakfast most of the one I go to they will let you order off the lunch. They said we don't do that ok. The service was very efficient and fast. Marcus was exceptional! He was very courteous, complimentary and an all around sweet guy. Even remembered my name to tell us have a nice day as I left out. We need more men and women in the food service like Marcus. I mean he placed a bright spot in my day, not saying it wasn't bright already, but he added a little more sparkle to my bright day that I have not run into in a long, long time from restaurant establishments. Keep this guy, and if other employees that work with him don't try to exemplify his personality as he greets people, then maybe they need another line of work. Where do start? I went to this location on my lunch break and it was a horrible experience due to having to wait over 10 mins for my food. I walked in and ordered a Chicken Quesadilla (Which ended up being burnt) The drive through line was extremely long, but little did I know that the inside was even worst due to a lack of employees. I was informed that half the staff was on lunch, mind you at the same time! (Which I did not understand) I was highly disappointed with the speed of service and lack of employees. When I finally got my food I noticed that it was burnt when I got to my car. Just my luck!!! I didn't go back inside due to already having a HORRIBLE experience at this Taco Bell. I don't know if it was a bad day, but I will not be back to this location or recommend it. I hope they do better. read more

Why are you here? For fast pseudo-Mexican food. This place delivers fast hot food. Did you know that Taco Bell has some of the lowest calorie fast food? A soft chicken taco is 160 calories. A crunchy taco is 170 calories. Take that 480 calorie McD's salad. BUT if you have sodium issues, you may want to check out their online menu to see if you can put together a lower sodium alternative - most items are high in salt. Strangely enough, the interior is very clean. Much cleaner than the typical fast food place. I think the reason for this is that 90% of their business is drive thru but for what ever reason - kudos to Taco Bell for a clean interior. Also passes the dog test - I usually have dogs riding with me and dogs are very excited when the Taco Bell bag comes through the drive thru window. Five paws up rating. read more

I've never been inside, so all of my experience is with the drive through. This location is near home and it's cheap. The kids like Taco Bell and I don't mind having it myself once in awhile. They seem to have more issues than other fast food restaurants I frequent, like the morning staff not showing up so there is only one poor guy trying to run the restaurant all alone or delivery truck that doesn't arrive on time so they don't have any food except hash browns and Cinnabons. But they are always very apologetic when something goes wrong and good days or bad, the staff at this Taco Bell is so friendly and pleasant, I can overlook the bad days. Taco Bell actually has a decent breakfast menu and they've added a lot of $1 items, so it's a pretty good deal. read more

I ordered a Crunchwrap meal and when I got to the window I asked to change my order and the cashier shouted back to the kitchen what I had changed it to and in that moment a woman screamed from the kitchen "ITS TOO LATE!" and she told him to refuse to change my order. So he said I could either take what I initially ordered or leave. I was shocked but I paid and asked for her name, he said her name is MONICA and she was the manager on duty. I couldn't believe my ears. What makes this worse is when I got home I pulled out my Crunchwrap that MONICA made for me and there was nothing in it, just a flattened tortilla. So what was too late MONICA? It's not as if you actually took the time to make my order so I could have had what I asked for since you didnt even make a Crunchwrap! I was livid and told everyone I know to stay away from this place. I went back the next day for the very last time for a refund which I was given, along with a free breakfast but I told them they even though they were nice, I will never be back because of Monica. They weren't surprised. When I showed them what she had given me the precious night they weren't even shocked, it was "typical Monica" so Taco Bell, how could you put someone with this level of mental instability in a role of responsibility let alone out in the public?
