The service was AWFUL. We ordered six drinks and it took them around 5 minutes to take out card from us and then another 5 to bring our card back with the drinks. Customer service is TERRIBLE. I understand you are being timed to get your customers out of your drive thru in a timely manner. That does not mean you continuously cut off your customers as they are placing their order. That's probably why they got my order wrong too. He was a tall fairly heavy set black man. Looked pretty young. Also just so you know, they do not wear name tags and refuse to give you their name at Taco Bell or else I would definitely name drop. How can their customer service be so "bad" when you shouldn't be talking to them for no more than 1 minute. Just went here a little bit ago and my whole order is wrong!! We did not see until we got home which is frustrating! I asked for no tomatoes and beans on my food and it was ignored. Then ordered 12 Doritos nacho locos tacos and got 6 and 6 regular tacos supreme. Asked for extra sauce and I got very little. The kids there don't listen and don't care. I'm not rly sure how this Taco Bell is still in business with all the screw ups. They definitely don't deserve to be paid $15/hr. read more

Not sure if it's a requirement that the person taking your order counts to 5 before they respond to a question but if it is, this place sure follows the rules. The food is fine. It's Taco Bell, I'm sure people aren't really clamoring to Yelp to check how many stars Taco Bell has, but I digress. One person commented on the leaky sewage smell that seeps into your car as your order... it's not great. Customer service is pretty low here, the staff seems to be mad at me because they don't like their job. Not sure how it's my fault but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. We stop here sometimes on our way out of the Chicago into Michigan. Never really a plan to come here but somehow we end up here anyway. This Taco Bell was a very pleasant surprise while making a run to Indy from the city. Wayyy better than the Wrigley location I'm forced to frequent. Cheese cup was FULL and hot, burrito fillings are well-placed and balanced, and quesadilla had a great amount of cheese, meat, and most importantly, the zingy chipotle sauce. Honestly, I don't know how these local "Mexican" restaurants are still in business. A few weeks ago my local Taco Bell was closed for renovations so I had to go somewhere else. When I tried to get my usual Naked Egg Taco and Baja Blast™ Freeze at El Salto, the waiter gave me a perplexed look and said that they didn't have either of those items! Naturally, I got a little heated - I mean, they were being ridiculous, my kid has to eat something in the mornings or the court will take him away again - but I really didn't think it was necessary for them to get the police involved. I highly recommend Taco Bell, especially the twenty-four hour ones as they usually have the most self-loathing staff and the cleanest bathrooms. Authentic Mexican cuisine, low prices, and accessibility are the norm.
