This Taco Bell has HORRIBLE service. I've delayed writing this review in hopes of not being so emotional in my choice of words (yes, it was THAT bad!). I visited in December with my kids and chose to go through the drive-thru. When trying to place the order, I was asking each of my teens what they wanted, then asked the employee questions such as what comes on each order. The employee gave very little details and help, and she could barely be heard through the speaker. So, as I kept asking each person what they wanted, they were unsure, still wondering what different choices came with, such as number of tacos, or if it had sour cream, etc. After just a couple of minutes of this, the employee told me to hurry because I was holding up the drive thru. At this point, there was 2 cars in front of me and one just arriving behind me, which I pointed out to the employee. We continued trying to decide what we wanted for a bit, and trying to get clarification on the menu from the employee. Then she told me again that she needed me to order or go because I was holding up her line. Again, I pointed out that there were cars in front of me, that I wasn't holding anyone up because the line wasn't moving and that I couldn't move forward. Because of the employee's lack of help and customer service and her impatience, my kids were becoming anxious and feeling hurried and pressured. They became more focused on their being unable to please the employee and decide fast enough to make her happy, which actually kept them from thinking about the menu and what they wanted to order. The lady kept saying that "she wasn't trying to be rude, but.... she needed me to order or get out of line because we were holding up the drive thru." That alone to me is rude. When you say you're not trying to be rude, yes, you're being rude. All of this happened in probably 5 minutes or less. Had she been more enlightening with help with the menu, and had she spoken up clearly so that we could have heard what she did say so that we didn't have to ask her to repeat everything she said multiple times, and had she avoided the nonessential chat regarding our need to order, we might could have actually ordered much faster. Finally, after about her 4th or 5th time telling me that she wasn't trying to be rude "but", I snapped and decided that Taco Bell had lost my business... FOREVER! So, I pulled up to the vehicle in front of me and sat and waited a good 15 minutes for them to get their order and move out of the way so that I could leave. The way that their drive thru is made, once you're in line, you're stuck. There's no pavement or area to drive around the line, and a car was behind me, preventing me from backing out. Of course, she knew this, which makes me wonder where she thought I could go in order to get out of her precious line. Yet, it was perfectly acceptable to her that my family had to wait another 15 minutes for them to fill the orders in front of us, rather than asking them to pull up and carry their order to their car when it was ready, like McDonald's and other places will do. About a year earlier, we went inside the restaurant to eat and it was unusually packed. My kids really wanted Taco Bell, so we stayed. I remember that it took about 10-15 minutes that day just to get thru the line to order. Because of that wait, and the volume of people in the restaurant, I asked the lady how long the wait would be, to which she replied she didn't know, but it shouldn't be too long. After waiting almost an hour and the dining room being about half as full, our food finally came to us. I asked the employee WHY it took so long, to which he grinned and shrugged his shoulders and simply said, "I don't know." Really? With that in mind as I sat in the drive thru recently, I've decided that we can go to a family "sit down" restaurant, such as San Miguel's or Coco Loco and each just as fast, if not faster, and have much better food and service for the same amount of money. Taco Bell has forever lost my business. My teenagers are disappointed and have asked me several times since this if we would ever visit another Taco Bell location. I haven't decided how to answer that yet. I think that if the main corporation finds this behavior acceptable, then why would I want to do business with any of their locations. When I finally got to the window, a young girl was there and two of her random friends were behind her. All she did was laugh, never said sorry about the wait, or anything. She was completely rude. I told her that it took a long time and she said a rude comment and closed the window and proceeded to get on her cellphone. When she finally handed me my food she was still being rude. I called up there to speak to the manager and the same girl answered and I kindly said, "Can I speak to the manager?." And she said, " About what? Can you call back later?"
