Today I stopped by to grab a taco while my mother-in-law used the restroom. A gentleman by the name of Mike was taking my order, he offered me a glass of water which I thought was very kind of him. After I finish my taco, my mother-in-law asked me in Russian for a glass of water as well, as I walked up to the counter of my kid already prepared another glass of water for us, saying that he noticed that she might've wanted a glass of water. As a business owner, I think customer service is the most important thing because that either makes or breaks your business! Mike did an exceptional job. I also noticed how kind and friendly he was to everybody else as well. Taco Bell should be very proud of having Mike as an employee! read more

For the most part this location is usually a five. I don't know if it was a slip up or whatever the case maybe. Taco Bell is always a good choice for long road trips. On the way back from Yosemite we stopped by this location for a quick bite. I have to say the customer service here is top notch! Mike was so friendly and gave us hand sanitizer with our order. The bathroom was also very clean and well kept. Coming back home to Merced from a long road trip, we had decided to get Taco Bell for the night. We ordered four chicken chalupas. When we got home, we come to find out that there was no chicken in the chalupas, instead there was beef in it's place. Frustrated, we went back through the drive-thru. We get to the drive-thru right at closing time which is 12:30AM and no one is there to open the window. I pull around into the parking lot to find the employee who took my order getting ready to drive off. When I inform her about the order, her response was "Sorry, we're closed" when there are clearly employees still inside at the time. It finally hits her when I ask her if one of the employees can open the window and redo my order. I go back around into the drive-thru. I explain the entire situation to the manager and her response is "You can come back in the morning and we can re-make the order." Moreover, the manager did not offer any apology at this point or any attempt of asking if I needed a refund. Instead, it seemed by her voice as if she was willing to go back-and-forth with me in an argument. I also told her that the order was still wrong even when on the screen it had said "Chicken Chalupa" and the employee had repeated it back to me. I finally had to ask her if I could get my refund, as she seemed clueless in her judgement. After getting my refund, she told me I could go to the other Taco Bell which closed at 2:00AM. So, after all this and starving to eat, we went to the other Taco Bell which by the way did not mess up the order. read more

This is so irritating!!! I work fast food so don't get me wrong I understand things get messed up it happens but this was ridiculous... I walked to taco Bell to have lunch with my husband I work 6 to 7 days a week so it's rare for us to actually step out and eat... Any ways we ordered 2 custom nacho bell grande plates he asked for chicken and beef as for me I kept it plane Jane with just beans no tomatoes because I'm allergic with that being said we get our order get home and our nacho are wrong he never got his chicken only beef and mine had a mountain of tomatoes after I begged for them not to because of my allergy... I had my husband call and mind you my husband is autistic so him calling on his own is him stepping out if his comfort zone completely well he spoke to a manager regarding our food I believe his name was Michael or somthing close told my husband if we had our receipt we could have them remade I had to be at work that evening I want able to make it in and my husband won't leave with out me .. went in today with my receipt and my husband's name was never written down.. I was only able to get one plate of my nachos.. after I still brought in my receipt from 5 days before and I still offered to bring in the food... and still got told no and the manger on duty didn't want to give me back me receipt !!! Ordered via drive thru, per baby sister's request. Now, your typical fast food joint doesn't have the most pleasant employees. They are miserable because they work hard for very little pay. I know. I've been there. However, Rodney, my drive thru attendant for Thursday afternoon was AMAZING! By far, the most pleasant fast food employee I have ever come across! He had a great attitude, made sure to ask me ALL the right questions, got my WHOLE order correct. Not one thing wrong. He provided pleasant, prompt and incredibly accurate service, which I greatly appreciated. Even my 10 year old sister, who is roughly as judgmental and critical as I am, was almost speechless. When a ten year old comments on how 'nice the drive thru guy was' you know this kid is doing his job, and doing it much better than most. Thumbs up to Rodney for awesome customer service! when i was little taco bell was my favorite restaurant... i used to savor each bite of my bean burrito, slowly nibble on my tostada to make it last that much longer since it was a once in a while treat. it wasn't until i had my wisdom teeth out that my dad, being the nice guy that he is, bought me bean burritos from taco bell EVERY DAY for EVERY MEAL. after about a week of bean burritos i couldn't handle the sight of a burrito... until tonight. we just arrived here in merced and after a long LONG day of work, pulled up, ordered my burrito and tostada, and mmm... just like i remembered it. fast, clean, and living up to being a part of a chain restaurant, consistent. read more

This location has it together. I live around this one and it never disappoints. I can't remember the last time they screwed up my order. They always repeat it back to me and the food is consistent. As in, I get a bean burrito one time and the next time, it's the same. Not bigger or smaller or less cheese. Sounds simple, but so many other Taco Bells do this. No quality control. MLK Taco Bell, is the best in the county. I eat here far too often but i just cannot help it. The service is awesome. The food is great because it is made correctly, unlike many other local locations.
