But it was all good. The service was spotty but friendly. Maybe they were understaffed? Plus we sat 20 minutes waiting on our bill because no one mentioned we needed to go to the register para pagar. The lighting is too bright in the dining room. It made the clean and festive looking place feel more like a fast food joint. Dimmers maybe? The other sore point was the margarita that had no price on the menu, but that came in at $9.95. it tasted good. But at that price, it should have had a couple good shots of Tequila in it, Right?

My husband added salt and pepper to the guacamole I like to put the salsa and the cheese together. The salsa is really good. Smooth with a nice acidic flavor and a little kick at the end. We ordered our food and I'm pretty sure it came out in less than 5 minutes. My chimichanga was big and tasty with very well seasoned beef. My friend says the beans are to die for and I really can't argue with her. The hubby had a couple of street tacos. Both were good but the carne asada was the best one. Sadly, no room for dessert and we definitely needed a box. The service was great. It's a really colorful place.

Grilled chicken, mushrooms, onions, as well as spinach with a cheesy savory almost gravy topping I could not stop eating till everybody was gone! The only reason I did not give them five stars was because their chips were nothing special and my husband thought they were slightly stale but I just think they were rather plain.
