My granddaughter and I arrived 45 minutes earlier due to the snow my son was getting on the Maryland side. The young men there were fantastic and sat us - got us drinks and chips and salsa and my granddaughter wanted Queso dip. I let them know it would be a while before we ordered but they still kept checking on us to refill drinks and chips - great customer service. When the rest of our party got there they were quick to get drink orders and orders. I filled up on chips so I just opted for the Chicken enchilada soup. My son got the Chile Rellenos, DIL got the Nachos and granddaughter got chicken and rice. The food was decent. I'm from California and my type of "Mexican food" is very different than what is found here normally. Spice levels are not the same. Overall everyone enjoyed their food. Their customer service was amazing. I would recommend it for this area.

Our food was pretty disappointing. The vegetarian enchiladas were supposed to have grilled potatoes on the inside and seemed to be more of mashed potatoes. It was taken off the bill but for over 50 dollars and the chance of food poisoning we will pass on coming back.

The service was friendly and very informative, which was nice as we made decisions. The ambience was also excellent; we sat outside, but would've been happy to sit inside in the lively dining room. The standout dish of the meal was the baked Chincoteague clams. These were flavored with Thai green curry and were excellent bites. The smoked pork taco was also very much a stand out, the smoked flavors contrasted well with the freshness and it relief belt as if this taco provided bang for buck. The other dishes were well executed. A crab gazpacho with grape and other aromatic flavors as the base was well done but there was not much crab and so did not feel as if it was a particularly worthwhile dish to get. The grape flavor was also somewhat too prominent for my liking, but the dish was refreshing and light as promised. The brussels sprouts were solid but not particularly memorable. The oyster taco was slightly overburdened by slaw and proved somewhat more tangy than what was called. I would definitely come back for the clams and the smoked pork taco and would be interested to taste the raw preparations as well as the fried chicken taco next time.

Thanks to Yelp for leading us to Casa Pearl!…read more We were charging our car for a roadtrip at the Wawa next door and was looking for something a little more elevated than a sub to tide us over for dinner. The high reviews and the bumpin' scene outside led us to Casa Pearl. A quick look around, we thought that we might have to find a place more kid friendly but the lovely hostess assured us that they were in fact welcoming to the under ten set. So with a few kids menus and crayons in hand, we all ended up having the best rest stop dinner of our life! Everything was served tapas style and service was extremely quick so we were able to get fully fed during out 45 minute charging session. Truly a win. Kiddos loved the chicken tenders, chicken quesadillas, and tostones. I loved my margarita (no super sweet mix here, this was some good stuff), brussel sprouts, and chargrilled oysters. My husband LOVED the chicharrones and pimento cheese dip as well and was happy by how GF friendly everything was. We would definitely come back if we are in the area again.

We were immediately greeted by the staff and seated promptly. It wasn't packed but presented a cool vibe nonetheless. After a few minutes looking over the menu, we were both ready to order. My selection for lunch was quesabirria with consome as a dipper. When it arrived, it was actually birria tacos. I did ask the server about it, but he said it's quesabirria. Kind of confusing, but I'm sure it's tacos. Nonetheless, the meal had me full. The birria was well cooked and seasoned with other ingredients. A little messy, but it was all fine. And the consome was so good I actually sipped the rest after I was done. Even with the selection situation, I was satisfied with the meal for the afternoon.
