It opened up last week and I swear I have eaten there every day since. Perhaps I have an irrational fear that Trump's border wall will extend to Taco Bell, I'm getting my Dorito Taco Locos like a madman. Please fix the system. Cashier was obviously new and training. But employees in the back would come to "check on her" but pretty much ask "what do you need". Not ask if she's doing okay or if she needs some assistance... not putting anything bad about the cashier because she was new! Help her out don't pressure her more! And the drive thru was not thought thru!! What if there's a line for the drive thru and people are leaving? No can. We were stuck after eating in for about 5 minutes because of the drive thru line. read more

The worst Taco Bell experience every time. They are so incompetent and mess up our order EVERY TIME at the Drive through, we started parking and walking in to order. We hoped that the extra effort of parking and ordering face to face would eliminate simple error, but that was giving them too much credit. Perhaps our family requests of substituting beans instead of meat, extra tomatoes, or no sour cream is too much for them to fulfill. We even took breaks from Taco Bell and hoped when we finally came back our experience would be better. Far from the case. This place doesn't have the nicest seating area, but the service is better at this location, compared to other Taco Bells. They also also special order items (at a small fee) for example, we noticed the Kalua Pork Burrito on the menu and requested that meat in lieu of beef or shredded beef. Be prepared to be sick! Not only does this place NOT have a restroom, they don't provide a sink to wash your hands! So they must at least provide hand sanitizer right? NOPE! Quality taco bell tacos at a good price and quick service in house. They have brewed ice tea! Very few places in Hawaii have fresh brewed ice tea. They also have a bathroom. It may be fast food but its the best taco option around and open late. This may sound odd, but i wish they had a tip jar. I usually tip other taco places, even when they don't deserve it and in my opinion, these guys deserve it for offering a valuable service in this town. As far as getting orders mixed up as mentioned in other reviews, it happens everywhere. Go pay 30$ for the same meal elsewhere and maybe you will be happier. Doubt it. As far as customer service is concerned, be nice. These guys are busting their tails servicing a non stop flow of customers who never tip and leave bad reviews because some employee doesn't act like a five star waiter. Weirdest Taco Bell experience of my life. The crew all seemed to be "special". Literally there was like one normal dude in the back giving me the "kill me please" look because his coworkers were slobbering on the cash register. There was also what appeared to be a homeless guy posted up in the corner making extremely awkward eye contact with me and my girlfriend. I had to sit with my back to him to eat my food. My girlfriend's quesadilla was cold. The food took longer than normal and may have had drool in it. Would have gone to paniolos in town but it was closed. 1 out of 10 will not do again. read more

We also waited 1 hour 20 min. stuck in line after placing our order and paying online at home. The workers work real hard there. The worker told me it was because of it being the first day of bringing the Mexican pizza back and he said they didn't even have it. The problem with Kailua is that the menu is after the speaker so you can' see it until someone is asking for your order. Also BIG problem i s the parking lot. The person who got their order can't get out if the line of drive thru is blocking them. There needs to be s sign to keep that exit clear. Also once the person has a clear way out of the pickup line then they can't get out the one way exit until the line moves. It is a poorly designed system with no signs. It creates a lock down circle of angry people. The employees are awesome though and work hard. Occasionally they get it wrong but who doesn't. But PLEASE put a Menu on the wall before the speaker!!!!! You need two menu's so people can be deciding before and not saying ummmmm at the speaker! Also you can't ditch out of line at any time. I have been here a few times and sometimes they do great and are perfect and other times there just drop the ball. This time they dropped the ball hard in my opinion. Just to start it off the guy who took our order at drive thru wasn't listening to a word I was saying when we tried to explain to him that the Mobil app wasn't working and was saying their system was down, but he kept insisting that we need to make the specific order we wanted through the app. (I understand certain capabilities are only accessible through the app Caleb L., but from an Ex manager of 6 different restaurants business. Customer courtesy and at least making it seem like you are listening is key... even if you honestly don't care for what they say. In a business stand point at least make the customer feel like they are cared about and makes them more prone to become more of a regular) I ordered the cheesy Gordita crunch box and the grilled cheese deluxe box. Food tasted good, but as for presentation, that was horrible. The wraps were a mess, literally couldn't even take the paper wrap off without the burrito contents almost falling out on my lap. The beefy 5 layer burrito had almost no beef and was more like a bean 4 layer. They at least make sure not to put sour cream, so I will take what I can get out of it. (PS. The food is like pretty much any other Taco Bell's but be warned, when traffic is bad on Oneawa, it's a chore to get in or out of the parking lot on that side. Highly suggest using the side street entrance to the parking lot. Interestingly, there is a Pizza Hut in the corner of the parking lot so you can get regular pizzas (not just personal ones) without extra travel. read more

Being a resident of Kailua I've frequented this establishment often. They always seem to get our order wrong in some manner. Usually its putting sour cream when we ask them not too. Sometimes its missing an item we ordered. Today was no exception but this time the boy behind the counter decide to call my wife a liar and insisted that we ordered wrong. I was there when she ordered and I know what they she said. She made the order idiot proof but our mistake was that we did not insist he repeat our order back to us. I can over look many things but to disrespect a customer the way he did he should have been fired. But instead the manager ignored us and would not listen too our complaints. I really like this location. I'd even go as far as to say I think it is one of the best on the island. Customer service is always quick, efficient and friendly and I have never had any mistakes or mix ups on any of my orders. I have come here for years and I will continue to do so. If you are craving taco bell, this is the place to go. However, beware ordering anything fresco if you are ordering to go. The reason I say this is because recently I came in one evening and ordered some fresco menu items and by the time I got to my car it was all over the bag... the sauces, lettuce, tomatoes and everything. Keep in mind the walk to my car was only a little less than a minute- I parked in the parking lot. Come to find out, the tacos weren't even wrapped - kinda just folded in half, and the napkins were drenched in some kind of watery tomato sauce from the fresco tacos. How unappetizing! But, it was late, I have never had any kind of issue at this location before and it was only $5 so I just decided to go home. I suppose what they say is true: you get what you pay for, at least in this instance.Just for future reference as well... I have had the fresco menu items dining in and had no problem.
