I have heard bad things about this Taco Bell during the day, but let me tell you that at night it is the best staff and Taco Bell you will ever have. I got a nachos bell grande that was evenly portioned and tasted amazing. The grilled cheese burrito I had was also super flavorful and crisp. I got a taco as well, and unlike most other Taco Bell's, it was full and tasted amazing. I normally don't write reviews, especially rude reviews because I try to be understanding, but this is just completely unacceptable to me, especially after multiple days of the same thing happening. my friend and I ordered food from this Taco Bell when we first came through we made sure we checked the order because the other day when we came, it was all messed up and today when we checked it was messed up again! they threw the chips into the bag and the nacho cheese into the bag so they were all spilled all over the bottom, they barely filled the sauces up, on the new grilled cheese dipping tacos there was no cheese. so we went back through and nicely asked them if they could remake our order, they did but they did the same thing! they spilled the cheese and the nachos and they put the cheese on the taco (for once), but didn't melt it all the way, and they were not very happy when we asked them to remake our order, I can understand being stressed out at work and everything but we did not yell at them, we were not rude to them. They are advertising a pineapple whip beverage. Their menu has it listed. There are window decals advertising it. There is a three piece banner board in their yard advertising it. So I ordered one and was informed they don't sell those there. Then WHY advertise it all over your building? The tacos which are usually really good are literally floating in grease and their Pepsi which I got instead of the pineapple beverage is subpar. I worked at a Taco Tico years ago and we always ladled out all of the grease from the meat that we possibly could. The food is what you expect from Taco Bell. The past few times I've been here they have forgotten my sauce or not given me enough sauce (4 for 6 tacos. Hard to share like that...) and I've also had completely shattered taco shells. Today I double check to make sure I had my sauce and I didn't see any so I asked him for some he gave me a handful and said "it's at the bottom" and then closed the window and all I could think of was holy crap I hope that's not the manager that was incredibly rude... I am staying at the hotel in the same parking lot I work across the street at Freddys and I'm helping them out right now and don't get off until 9 on my early nights so I have limited food options. So you are telling me that I have to pay for my food now, drive all the way back around, order my quesadilla through the speaker TO TALK TO YOU and come back through the line and do a separate $1 transaction ... to which she replied yes, that is our policy. LOCATION: Not too far off of I-70...convenient. FACILITY: Clean for the most part but the dining area on average takes 15-20 minutes to have tables cleaned off. Very narrow and uncomfortable front cashier/ordering area...little room to move around without being in someone's way. Customers waiting for their orders have nowhere to stand that wont interfere with another person ordering, others getting beverages or the very nearby seating area. STAFF: Slow, not motivated, not courteous; very mundane personalities. It seems mind boggeling that putting practically the same ingredients on different outer shells on nearly every item is a difficult task...this in turn makes the lack of diligence and disposition unbelievable because of the simplistic nature of the work at hand. MANAGEMENT: Not well engaged with customer service, welfare or environment. Not well motivators of employees. Attempts to dismiss customer concerns with refunds or extra food...as nice as that may be, that in itself do not fix issues. FOOD QUALITY: Depending on who's working and the day of the week or time of day is whether you'll get poorly constructed food, barely warm food, poor ingredients, most of the insides coming out as soon as you unwrap it "or" none of the above issues. Drive-thru has a much higher error rate...on average 3-4 of 10 items may be incorrect or missing. TIMELINESS: Overall mediocre but more poor than satisfactory. An indoors order with 2 customers ahead of you and three cars in the drive-thru will result in an average 14-17 minute wait from time on receipt to time receiving the order. This is based on (5 trips in a 30 day period). Single person orders are more expeditious which average 4-6 minutes. SUMMARY: poor employee work ethic, subpar cleaning practices, disengaged management, poorly constructed food items, uncomfortable facility. I ordered a Black Bean Quesarito and a mini Shredded chicken melt without the chicken. (So basically a mini cheese quesadilla) The lady was like so you want a cheese roll-up. I said no I like how the melt is made, so that is what I want. I received my order. I started eating the melt, and I was like this isn't quite right, and I don't feel so good. They put the chicken in it. Unfortunately for me, though it tasted amazing, I threw up my quesarito and the melt. I get physically ill when I eat meat. I have never had a problem when I order the melt the way I do. I tried calling to let them know and they didn't answer and the phone kept going to fax.
