Even though this Taco Bell is in Hazel Park it still should be your go-to taco Bell if you live in Ferndale and it is worth extra couple minute drive. it doesn't matter if you go inside where you go to the drive-through I would say at least 80% of the time they get the order correct. I've never had to ask for napkins they were always put in the bag. They always ask what kind of sauce you want oh, so you might have to ask for a few extra packets. Worst Taco Bell I've ever ordered. Was in the drive thru and their computers were down so we were told to come inside to order. Once inside saw 8 workers standing around waiting until we placed our order using the kiosk. Once we received our order I had to ask for cups and they didn't even know what kind of freeze I ordered. Filled my pop from the machine and it was straight carbonated water. No hint of what the drink was supposed to taste like at all. Get home and realize there are more toppings in the bottom of the bag than on my fricken chalupa... and a wonderfully tasting cardboard Crunchwrap September to go along with it. Mercy sakes this particular location takes extremely long time to place your order and fulfill your order. Usually you're almost always missing something in your order. Be sure to check your bag before you go that they have everything. It's not uncommon for the soda machine to be out of service or there to be out of something. read more

This is an HP-Lifer review. Being in Hazel Park most of my life, Taco Bell is one of the few things that hasn't changed too much. That and the race track. Sigh. But I digress. This place is a staple for HPHS students and you can actually see the HS from the parking lot. They used to have T/B delivered to our cafe when I was in HS which was ok I guess because you couldn't leave for lunch until 11th grade. **not legally anyway** I never realized the differences that can occur between teenage palate and adult palate. So, because of said hatred, I avoid this place like the plague. Today, I was running a little late from lunch and since it's RIGHT THERE... blah blah blah I ordered two steak soft tacos. I figure that's a safe bet. No ground "beef" (and God, do I use that term loosely) or "chicken" (mm-mm, too scary to EVER try at T/B). I get them and big surprise, yellow-orange tomatoes, stale tortilla, just fucking UGH. Now, I wasn't expecting a miracle here, you guys, but for 4 fucking dollars I wanted to at least be able to say I was full. Since the tacos were so so bad, I was still hungry after NOT eating them.
