If it was available, I would give this cesspool of a business a minus 5! Not only did they mess-up the three orders, (especially the all beef burrito, with no beans, that was all beans)(see receipt), it was the most disgusting excuse for food I have ever tasted. If I was allergic to beans, I would gotten extremely ill. When I called this disgusting business, to complain to the manager, she hung up the phone. This place has literally forgotten more food of my food than they've actually put in the bag. It's never been bad quality food just when my orders are around $20 or $30 I expect everything to be there. The staff is polite. I don't eat here but I pick up dinner for my granddaughter once in a while. This is the second time in the past 2 weeks that I have gotten a sub standard meal. That week the hard taco shell was not a nice U shape but more like a J. They had to have noticed when the pack it but obviously don't care. Last night was more of the same a taco shells as split in half when she opened it. Additionally I was asked if I would like any sauce to which I replied "a few hot and fire sauce. at 2 a.m. what's really open besides Taco Bell, a dive bar and maybe a McDonald's. This Taco Bell is shared with Long John Silvers which was exciting news for me because I wanted Silvers and my friend Taco Bell. In eagerness to figure out what I wanted, we went through the drive-through window only for the "speaker" to say Long John Silvers is closed. -_- not cool, they should have a sign that says their hours or turn off the menu. This is the second time that I've gone through the drive thru ten minutes before closing and they fail to comply with the hours and ignore the intercom. Not only that, I also visited and stated that there would be two orders per car and the employee argued that because they were busy that they can't do two orders. I used to stop in here for a quick bite since it's so easily located off the busy street, but I've learned from my mistakes. The worst thing about this place is the wait. You're guaranteed a solid 7-10 minute wait for your food. Happens every time. I'm not exactly sure what is going on in the back, but it makes zero difference what time of day it is, you're always going to wait even when it's completely dead. I've sat there for 15 minutes, I even timed it once because it felt like forever. Also be advised that you're more than likely going to get home and find items missing that you ordered, and when you call back you'll get someone relatively young who doesn't really care, honestly I don't blame them but still, it's annoying. read more

Always have a good experience at this Taco Bell/Long John Silvers combo. It's always clean inside and the order comes quick. Workers are always very helpful and will do whatever you ask order wise. You will every now and again get an order that isn't correct which is annoying...but people do make mistakes. Don't be afraid to stop by and check it out on your way through Fox Lake. Do make sure to be careful going in and out as it's a pretty awkward/dangerous entrance/exit. read more

This taco is awful, the food is good but the customer service needs a lot of work, they are slow and they are awful at getting your order right. Ive been to this location about 11 times and all 11 times they have messed up my order. I worked at a McDonalds when I was in high school and I know mistakes are made but this is ridiculous. We went to this location because it was a combination with Long John Silvers, and we wanted their fish / chicken family pack. We ordered the 8 piece Meal, which was offered with 2 sides (we chose fries and cole slaw) and we asked if we could substitute something else for the 8 Hushpuppies included with the meal. We were told we could get 3 shrimp instead of the 8 Hushpuppies. That was retracted shortly thereafter. The Hushpuppies were FORCED upon us! We chose to NOT pay the additional $1.89 for 3 shrimp. We also asked for some 'crumbs' to go with the cole slaw. They CHARGED US $0.25 for CRUMBS?? Charging customers for your DISCARDS? Our biggest complaint was the fact that the meal is meant to serve 4 people, and we were expecting to take home leftovers since it was just the two of us. The cole slaw given to us was a TINY 4oz container and the fries were also no bigger than a Medium size from McDonalds AND they were COLD! I went to the Taco Bell website and wrote a review there, and also attempted to do a review on the Long John Silver's site but the store number is un-recognized, so I have no way to contact them online, so I plan on writing them through snail mail. While on the LJS website, I notice the photos of the Family Meals.. and they show corn and green beans as offered sides - and the serving sizes of cole slaw and fries look to be a lot bigger - certainly enough to serve FOUR PEOPLE??? What a TOTAL RIP OFF! And god help you if you complain.. the foreign manager doesn't want to hear about it! read more
