I have eaten the take out here and really liked it, and recently was in the area with a friend, and we landed at Burrito Express for dine-in. The dine-in was really good. I had a Fajita Steak Burrito Dinner, which came with rice and beans. You can add red or green salsa to your food as both are available to bring to your table. The rice and beans were great! Rice was light and fluffy, and the beans were nicely topped with Mexican cheese. The steak burrito was freshly grilled and chopped up. Very nicely done. My compadre ordered a burrito and literally inhaled it! He seems to have approved as he was finished eating in 45 seconds. This is a great place to visit when on The Chain. I'll be back! read more

You have the option to order them American or authentic street-taco style. If you order a side of pico de gallo, you will get almost two cups of this heavenly garnish at no charge. The staff hooks you up for sure. As for the salsa verde? It's nectar. Everybody always wants to talk about how you rank as a culinary expert based off of how much heat you can handle. You know what? My family and I have been enjoying Burrito Express for the past 4+ years on the regular, ever since we moved to the area. I'm sure I echo the sentiments of many when I say that this little hole-in-the-wall is a hidden gem. I mean, they have Bacon Tacos! Ya heard? BACON TACOS!!! I don't know anyplace else with bacon tacos; and they're not just a novelty item, what they do to prepare that Bacon is magical! I've never had bacon that tastes so good, or is fried to such crispy perfection. I'm a Taco lover. One of those people for whom t-shirts, bumper stickers, memes, even Taco Tuesday itself was made; to celebrate our LOVE of this simple, yet incomparable tasty food, and despite the misnomer, "Burrito Express" is spot on AWESOME when it comes to tacos... You can have the rice and beans, just gimme a good ol' fashioned, Mexican-style (cilantro and onions on corn tortillas with a couple of limes and a side of Hot Sauce) taco, and keep `em coming! Ah, yes... the Hot Sauce. Burrito Express offers their own recipe for a Hotter than Hot Sauce that is a true compliment to the delicious taste of their seasoned meats. A regular order for me consists of one each: Cecina, Steak (Asada), Pork (al Pastor), Bacon (Tocino), of course, Chorizo, and either a Fish or Shrimp taco with all the fixins, done their way! That's my Go-To staple meal, but the Tortas are exceptional as well; a Bacon (Tocino) Tostada is like a specialty Mexican BLT, and really, I don't think there's anything I've had that I would even consider mediocre. It's all really, REALLY flavorful and perfectly portioned. The staff is great as well. Super friendly, and always very accommodating. I'm not sure if they are family, but it feels like a family-owned business just the same. A Happy Family, to be sure! It's taken me waaaay too long to write this review. It's like a debt of gratitude I feel I've owed Burrito Express for never once having had a complaint in all the time I've been there (which is a lot over 4 years), and now, I also feel compelled to go give them even more of my support and get me some Tacos! This evening my family ordered from here, we had tostadas, steak tacos, chips with salsa and guacamole. First off, the steak was horrible!! It was cheap, with no flavor. The beef was equivalent to dog food. The guacamole, had no flavor to it at all. Now the salsa, OMG!!! Whoever made it ruined it because all i could taste was tomato sauce !! I was delivering for a food delivery company yesterday and I was not impressed with the customer service. I entered the restaurant and approached the desk and immediately the 15 year old boy gives me a stern look and asks "What do you need" in a rude way. Another employee handled my order and that employee happened to be the manager. The manager advised that the employee was only 15 years old and is still learning. My advice is to remove him from the front counter. His lack of professionalism and caused me not to ever return there. read more
