Below was my experience: 4:08 - Placed online order 4:10 - App stated it would be ready at 4:21 4:25 - Get to Taco Bell and encounter dining room filled with customers and hear the staff arguing with each other!! 4:30 - Still waiting on orders inside while they are filling drive thru orders 4:35 - Hear people at the counter say they've been waiting 40mins for TACO BELL!! Meanwhile more drive thru orders are getting fulfilled!! 4:45 - I ask if I can just cancel my order because obviously they are overwhelmed!! Manager says use the app. 4:46 - I go to cancel order but someone in the restaurant marked the order ready so it didn't allow cancellation. 4:47 - I go back in and tell them I just got a notification the food was ready. They said we don't see you on our board and I said it's because someone said the food was ready! 4:50 - Manager sees my order, but because it was marked complete it wasn't on the prep line monitors so she printed out a hard copy for the prep line. 5:00 - I check in because they're still processing drive thru and the other people waiting before me got their orders with an apology!! I was told my order was getting prepared. 5:15 - Multiple people had come in, placed their orders, and gotten their food while I'm still waiting!! 5:25 - WHERE IS MY ORDER?? 5:30 - Yours is coming up!! Why are people and drive thru getting their food before me when I placed the order at 4:08 and it was marked ready at 4:46?? "The system is messed up!!" Says the manager. 5:40 - Manager: He's been waiting awhile so do his order first. (After an hour wait and filling other orders that came after mine??!!) 5:55 - Finally got order and completed my incarceration at Taco Bell!! I understand if you're understaffed but fulfill the orders in the order they are received!! If that means holding up the drive thru so be it!! My first time at this location I went through drive-thru, and the employee at the window catcalled a woman taking a walk while I was at the window. It made me feel very uncomfortable and I haven't done drive-thru since; now I just place my order to pick up inside. But quite often, and this just happened to me 5 minutes ago, my order isn't on the pickup counter and there's no one up front I can ask about it. When this happens, my bag has been on the drive-thru counter while there's an employee leaning up against the wall on their phone and they can't hear me. So what started this review is that I came to order food 15 mins before closing. I get that maybe annoying, but if you're hours are posted til 2 am, then maybe be ready to serve customers until 2AM! Luckily we weren't in a hurry today when we came for lunch. It appears that they were short staffed today. The manager was trying to make up the difference by doing the job of three people. She was doing a pretty good job. We were very patient because I would have hated to have been in her position. It took 13 minutes to get our food. Our orders were correct. Our food was good. I'm not really sure what the issue is with this particular Taco Bell. I thought fast food was supposed to be fast.... We ordered our food using their app. We paid for it through the app as well. Please don't waste your time doing this. When we pulled up to the location there were 4 cars in line before the call box. This was at 7:15pm. It's now 7:43pm. We can't move because we have cars after us. We still have a truck in front of us waiting at the call box. Go to the McDonalds next door or the Wendy's across the street. This taco bell takes pride in making their food as pristine and prime as can be. While the cooks are rather slow, I'm sure it has to do with the love and flavor they place in their food. The taco bell is also extremely clean! In glad to see employees taking their job so seriously. The bathrooms are also rather clean as well! I am very happy with my taco bell Cornelius experience. As she was ringing up my order for the substitution, she was charging me for the chicken as "extra" even though I asked to substitute it for the beef they were not able to supply! If you are psychotic enough to still want to go here, I would 1,000% check my order thoroughly once it got handed to me, because if anything is incorrect, are you really wanting to get back in that drive-thru line and wait ANOTHER 45 minutes for them to correct it? I can tell you from personal experience, you're definitely not going to want to get back in that line, unless your life depends on it. Oh I guess I didn't mention, their dining area, is STILL closed for some reason. I am going to assume they are still pullin the ole "covid card" because if it isn't re-opened by now, it probably will never be open again. Every time you drive through there's an issue: there's no chicken, there's no beef for 30 min, the window is down and you have to come in and stand in the line that's going out the door. It's always something. Tonight we sat in the drive through line for 10 minutes before ordering. I ordered 3 burritos with beef and was told it would be 30 min before they had any beef. WHY?? This is a TACO BELL. When my husband got mad and asked why, they yelled it's not their fault someone came through and ordered 40 tacos! Why do they consistently not have product, why is the line consistently long and slow, why do they run out meat for 30 min?
