The T-bone steak was ordered medium-rare, but it was served thin, completely overcooked to well-done, and had the texture of rubber--entirely inedible. To make matters worse, the tortilla soup we ordered never arrived at all. While management applied a partial discount for the spoiled steak, charging nearly $90 for a handful of tacos and drinks due to kitchen errors is unacceptable. The service made the experience even worse. Server check-ins were non-existent, and no one ever came by to ask how the meal was or ensure our missing items were delivered. Extremely disappointing service and poor quality control for a high-ticket dinner.

The tacos and tostada were bigger than we thought they'd be, so the family was pleasantly surprised. We weren't as impressed with the enchiladas. Ordered a beef and a chicken. The sauce didn't taste much different than canned and the beef was a bit dry. Wanted to try the menudo since it was a Saturday, but we didn't want a full $14.99 portion - 1/2 size would have done the trick. The place wasn't busy. The furniture is a bit run down. Bathrooms were adequate. Service was quick. Would definitely stop in again.

The taco salad was very nice with excellent shredded breast of chicken and a fresh taco shell bowl - lettuce was like it was picked out of the garden and just freshly washed & served (very fresh lettuce, which is always a bonus)! Prices are reasonable and location and parking is super easy. Service was rough this visit: 35 + min for a taco salad (they were very busy inside, but the patio was not even at 1/3 capacity, so for those of us sitting on the patio we would have no idea that the inside was super busy). Clearly experienced waitress was apologetic about the long wait when finally serving my lunch, but having waitressed for many of my earlier years, I would've liked to have heard that there was going to be a long wait when I sat down (she said unexpected busy Labor Day weekend); I would've liked the option to have opted out, as I was traveling and was looking for a quick meal break (just my opinion, but it's far better to lay out timing expectations from the onset so people can decide if they have the time to wait [then to apologize for them after the fact, when people are already frustrated and wondering why the wait felt unreasonable]). Although I wasn't as thrilled with my service experience this trip, I will continue to visit and next time just ask the question about timing ;)

I was kind of in the aisle and felt like I may be in the way of people and staff walking by, but it worked out ok. Despite it being busy, we were waited on quickly. They brought out chips and salsa to start while we reviewed the menu. I ordered the chicken with shrimp that came with rice, beans and tortillas. My husband got the chili verde chimichanga with rice and beans. The food was fresh and the plates were hot. I really enjoyed my meal and liked the flavors of the shrimp and chicken topped with cheese and fresh mushrooms. I must have been hungry because I cleaned the plate. The beans were good, and had a sweeter flavor like I like. The rice was cooked well and did not have any undercooked crunchy bits. I would surely return again when I'm in the area.
