    Taco Bell - Apopka, FL By MSF Creative Media #tacobell #fastfood #pepsi #soda #drink #large
    Marisa F.

The Taco Bell in Apopka, Florida is often packed during rush hour, but the dining room tends to be much calmer and has faster, more accurate service. However, late at night after the dining room closes and only the drive through is open, this Taco Bell becomes a completely different animal. After 12:00 AM or so every single night, the drive-thru line is insanely long and painfully slow. In addition, delivery orders placed during this time take forever to arrive, regardless of what delivery app you use. The food quality suffers greatly during the early morning hours, as well. I've received incorrect orders almost every time I have attempted to order delivery from this location, including missing items and, more often than not, inedible food. My advice? Visit this location during off-peak times. If you can, go inside to order takeout. You'll avoid the drive-thru madness and get fresher, tastier food.

They literally didn't care that their landscaping was so dark that I tripped and sliced my $40 jeans wide open.

I went at the recommendation of a friend who highly recommended their ceviche. My daughter and I went and tried the dip trio (salsa, guacamole and queso). We waited in line for a few minutes right after they opened and were served pretty quickly. The restaurant was painted brightly and decorated with pictures of the food on the wall in addition to a sugar skull theme throughout. All three of the dips we ordered were good, large portions and came with fresh, hot (and delicious!) chips. The guacamole was easily the best of the three, in my opinion. Creamy, tasty and so fresh! I ordered the ceviche and my daughter ordered the birria torta. I ordered the pineapple aqua Fresca and she got a Jarritos drink. Our lunches came out quickly. The ceviche was a large serving. Probably enough for 2 people! Chunks of shrimp and topped with guacamole, this ceviche was standard, in my opinion. Nothing special. It was good. I requested chips instead of saltines to go with my lunch. Large portion sizes are really the hallmark here. Again, the food is good, but unremarkable. Same holds true with the birria torta. A large serving of chopped beef (not shredded) and a taste very similar to a pot roast, this was equally unremarkable. Both of our lunches were excellent quality, and fine in taste. If you are in the area I recommend giving them a try. The place is clean, the staff is friendly and the food is good!

Tacos were huge and filled equally with protein, lettuce, cilantro and white onions. The chips and salsa were definitely housemade and the beans were delicious but a little cold. Will be going back as I will now be on this side of town quite often. Saw a table across get the quesadilla and it was huge and looked delicious.

This place is a market with a little hole-in-the-wall cantina and it is as authentic as you can get. They have a board with everything they make above the order desk, all in Spanish, but they do speak limited English- just enough to get you the best authentic Mexican you will find in Central Florida. They spicy salsa is the BEST I have ever had, and I bring home a quart upon every visit. The tacos are incredible, Carne Asada, Pollo, Carnitas and others, the chips are awesome as well. They have a cooler with all kinds of Mexican sodas, and yes, they have Mexican Coca Cola, made with SUGAR. The market has a proper meat counter, where you can buy REAL Mexican marinated meats to cook yourself at home. If you are looking for an authentic Mexican, this is the place. If you are from California and miss that Mexicali food, come here for your fix. However, do NOT expect a sit down fiesta atmosphere, this is a cantina, a place to simply sit and eat, or take it to go. If you want to sit down and have a nice Mexican meal, I suggest Garabaldi's, which is down the street, and while they have good food, it is no match for the food here.
