The sopes are just a piece of heaven especially the queso fresco on top. Also they include grill onions for ur tacos on the side. Quite frankly they are an amazing group of people, and their hours are the best. Last time I check they were open until 4 am on Friday and Saturday I believe. Tacos at 2am oh yes count me in. Upon moving to Arkansas, I've been on the search for a solid authentic Mexican restaurant to dine at. Tonight, my search ended. El Mariachi is absolutely amazing! Located on the south west side of Fort Smith, you get a combination of awesome tasting food, delicious drinks, a choice of different heat level salsas, and all at very reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I had the street taco plate, with al pastor and carnitas meats with a side of refried beans and Mexican rice - which is all made fresh daily in house. I also tend to judge a Mexican restaurant very hard on the quality of their salsa. The regular salsa is tasty, if you ask for their tomatillo salsa, it is hotter and flavorful with a hint of chipotle pepper in the background, and for those brave enough to try it, the Diablo salsa has just the right amount of heat if eaten in small amounts. I also had a top shelf margarita, which for the price point they have it at was perfectly made and enjoyed. In the end, I had to try their flan. I will state, this is probably some of, if not The best flan I've ever eaten.
