I came here at 10:30pm at night on 9/9/23 and I was completely blown away at the customer service from Dani!!! Give this girl a damn raise! Service was exactly how it should be! Upon entering, the floors and restrooms are freshly cleaned. Nice. The staff are lovely young women who are polite. Everything is fine. Order made fresh. Wait was perhaps 5 minutes. The burritos we're great. The hot sauce, while not spectacular, isn't bad. Some other popular "Mexican" food places in Allentown leave out all but a trace of capsaicin. Placed an order through the drive-thru tonight. Like always, I checked the bag noticing an item was missing. I returned through the drive-thru where I was told the manager requested I come inside. Aggravated that I needed to leave my car (all for a missing taco), I stormed inside where the manager met me at the counter. After having an attitude and expressing my concerns, he stayed smiling and positive. He explained he was working a double and he recently experienced a house fire and chooses to remain happy because he has another day. I stood there, stunned. I was miserable being rude over a taco when in reality, it could be worse. He provided us with free treats and after feeling ashamed I apologized for being rude. We had a fantastic experience at this taco bell. Friendly service, they don't skimp on the ingredients. The manager (her name is Jay) went over and above our expectations. There was a mistake in our order, and she not only apologized for her team's error, but went onto replace the entire order, made it herself, and included some extra things that we had not even ordered. We are all vegetarians, and she explained to us that she is training her team to assure that vegetarian orders are done correctly. She is a new manager at this store and I can see this store flourishing under her management style. I am definitely going to be going back. I adored Taco Bell in my younger years. Their menu fell off somewhat over the years and my tastes have probably changed a bit. Lately, it seems I just stop in every few months in need of disappointment. Now I sound old. Whatever... That was not the case here. What an enjoyable trip to this location. The staff worked so well together. My children love Taco Bell and the locations that are close to where we live are very lackluster. As a fast food restaurant, one may not expect much in the way of service, however, the team at this specific site worked very well together (perhaps better than some fine dining establishments). The Lehigh Street location is the absolute worst. You order off the automated screen and it takes 20 minutes to get your food, it's never right and then you have to wait again while they act bothered to get your drinks. We went in this weekend and when my daughter went up to the counter to get our tray, another customer leaned over to her and told her that the employee dropped our order of nacho fries which would explain why we only had six fries in the box. Both of our hard tacos were broken which make them a mess to eat. We'll be going to the Quakertown location from now on. read more

Yeah. I don't go to this taco bell anymore. I don't know why it is that this taco bell is so terrible. Even when I went with my family when I was younger I remember the order often being wrong however my mother isn't the nicest to fast food people so I wasn't surprised. But I try very hard to be super nice and quick with my orders because I know its a bad job. Basically, in recent years Ive switched to a vegan diet. So obviously my orders are a little more convoluted. But taco bell is one of the best places to get a full vegan order. So I even used the app they have to order my food because it was the first time I was ordering vegan and didn't want to be a pain at the register. So I put in a couple items in the app and edit them to my diet which honestly was super simple and awesome. I get there and get my food (it was a decent sized order cause my boyfriend was also vegan and getting food). Were in the car and I'm super hunger and excited, I bite into the crunch wrap and I get sour cream. I look and theres also meat in it! Like if anything putting beans instead of meat is very common and I can actually get really sick from eating meat at this point. None of what I ordered was even close to how I ordered it. I go back because I cant even eat any of it and it was a large order. They were so rude. Soooo rude. Two of them like ganged up on me and tried to tell me they made it right and this other person in line, who they were clearly friends with, knew what fresco meant and told them they were wrong. They threw the food around looking through it and tried to argue with me and I seriously was trying really hard to be nice about it. Its such a first world problem to have your taco bell made wrong and I felt so awful because they took the incorrect order and threw it away! I would have given it to family or friends and if I hadn't come back and just given the food away instead that was a chunk of money lost while I'm a broke college student just trying to get some taco bell. But the worst part was that they truly were just really mean to me. I felt super anxious and upset and they even threw a small amount of cheese in my crunch wrap supreme in the "fixed" order. Like it was out of spite. Since then Ive gone to four different taco bells and Ive gotten my delicious, wonderful, vegan taco bell exactly how I've ordered it every time. Bless taco bell for having such a diverse menu. I just cant believe how horrible and aggressively run the one on Lehigh street is. I mean if Ive never gotten a good order from there even before veganism I can only assume that that location has poooorr management. I hope they fix it one day because thats one that I'm around often and id love to be able to go there and id love for other people to be able to go there and not get treated how I did. Tldr: Sorry. You know what amazes me? These fast food workers demanding higher wages, yet can't seem to get fairly simple orders right. I don't eat meat or dairy, but I know taco bell has the ability to alter certain foods for a diet like mine. I had pulled through the drive-thru, and I even apologized in advance for the 'complicated' order. I simply asked for the crunch wrap supreme, "fresco style," with just black beans and guac. When I was biting into it, I also bit into a nice mouthful of sour cream and cheese. I always am very courteous and polite when I order something, as I know they're accommodating for my diet choice. Although I don't find it arduous, i'm never sure how well someone else will understand my request, therefore I made sure I was very specific, with clear English that my order can't have any dairy or meat in it (yes sour cream and cheese are dairy products). The girl taking my order didn't seem confused in anything I had requested, and was very polite back, yet I had to throw it out as soon as I opened it. This review may be influenced by being hungry and angry at the same time, because I was really looking forward to that damn Crunch Wrap Supreme. Still, it just amazes me how bad customer service is getting in this industry. I'm not sure if it's because our nation's IQ average is at a rapid decline, or people just don't seem to care anymore. I only treat myself to fast food once in awhile, but after this I think I'll just stick to trusting my own cooking at all times. read more

Terrible customer service! They forgot to put two products that went with a combo in my bag. I drove about a half a mile till I checked the bag and noticed the Mexican pizzas were missing (mind you not even for me) so I turned around and went back through the drive thru and told the girl I Just ordered these meals and the pizza's were missing. I get to the window to be told that another girl said she put them in the bag in a very argumentative way so I clearly handed her the two bags that she originally handed me so she could check herself. I did say I am certainly not hiding two Mexican pizza's in my car and to drive all the way back here wait in a small line to steal food from you. She did tell me she had to make the food and to park in the front of the building and she will bring it out, which she eventually did but I ended up throwing it in the garbage because of the attitude and the struggle I could not allow someone else to eat them because I'm not sure what she could of done to them. Spit do anything. Meanwhile two other workers were laughing at the drive thru window. I will not ever return there no matter what I don't usually eat that stuff to begin with and with the customer service so poor and disrespectful it will never be worth my time or money to patronage them again.
