    Chicken Bacon Chalupa

Came here to try out some of the new menu items: Cantina Grilled Chicken Quesadilla- $6.99 It was nice to get the somewhat spicy guacamole and sour cream on the side. But otherwise, personally, I'd go back to the OG Chicken Quesadilla. I love the chipotle sauce included in it and the extra toasted factor. This quesadilla came out like their grilled cheese burrito with melted cheese on the outside of their tortilla. Unfortunately, they did not melt the entire item long enough because when I pulled it apart it had unmelted cold cheese inside. Overall, this location needs to not rush. There was only 3 cars ahead of me. I would rather wait that extra minute for my food to be served hot and my cheese melted

Taco Bell 1900 Webster St Alameda, CA 94501 Taco Bell on Webster St is one of the popular late night spots in West Alameda. It's common to see a huge drive-thru line on Friday night and weekends. This restaurant has been here since (probably) the 1980's. It's sitting on the site of the old Skippy Peanut Butter plant. This Taco Bell has been remodeled a few times. I was there last night, and the drive-thru line was 10-12 cars long. I usually go thru the drive-thru. It's always quick and the line moves at a steady pace. The recently added dual menu boards to handle more orders. I usually order crunchy tacos, nachos and/or the mexican pizza. Service is always polite and efficient. They don't stress about sauces or extras. I have been to this Taco Bell probably over 100 times. Located on Webster St, next to the Walgreens. It has a large parking lot, but look out for the drive-thru line. So.....Welcome to Alameda, The Island City.

If they get your order wrong, it's your fault. Even if you correct them 3 times that it shows chicken and not beef on the screen. Not at all mad when I first returned because ppl make mistakes. When I kindly let them know I was met with "you didn't say that". And the bag of wrong food dang near being snatched of my hand because I returned to get the right food. Then they remake your food using the least possible ingredients!

    Very spacious

Totally remodeled Taco Bell in Alameda, my hometown! It's been years since I've been to this Taco Bell! What a face lift! Very spacious but not a lot of tables such a big place. Looks like they don't want you to stick around. We just happen to be in the area and came here for a quick bite before heading home. Food is ordered on a big computer screen and food came out quick. The food came out with pretty good amount of ingredients so I was happy. Lots of the other Taco Bell's places, the staff always gip you on the ingredients. Not cool! I am satisfied with their service here but they just close early. Still love their Taco Bell tacos and their Mexican pizza's! [19R,2024]

One of my daughters favorite fast food brands, hence the 5 star review. She/we come to this drive thru more often than I prefer... She did not prefer the food from EOS, see other Yelp. Or did she just want to come to Taco Bell? Quality/Quantity - Beefy Melt Burrito - One of her favorite items. She also comes here often for their happy hour. Atmosphere - I have never been inside, always drive thru. You have to drive through the fairly large parking lot to get to the back to enter the drive thru. And it is not perfectly aligned with the last lane, you will see if you ever go. Service - Okay, don't expect much. They take your order at the window and give you your food after you pay. Price - $2.70 for today's order. Owner Suggestion - Congrats on your success since 1962 with 7000+ locations. 1964 - First franchisees. 1978 - Pepsi bought Taco Bell. 1991 - First Taco Bell Express in SF. 1995 - Started co-branding with KFC. 1997 - Pepsi spun off its restaurant business. 2002 - Spun off company changed name to Yum! Brands. 2016 - Taco Bell Cantina.

    MTN DEW Baja Blast Freeze

Yeah it delivers what you want when you go to Taco Bell. I got a grilled cheese burrito and added on a baja blast freeze for cheap because of happy hour. Shout out happy hour. Inside isn't as inviting. All the tables are along the parameter so there's just this giant hole in the middle. But yaknow you're coming for taco bell not a vibe. 5 stars baby. Tried to finish the burrito in one bite like that guy on tiktok but it took me 6 bites. Next time I think I can do it in 2.

$3 for what? Disgusting and sacrilege

I've loved Taco Bell for the last 40 years! The one here in Alameda for over 10 years was one of the best. In the last 2 years, they've doubled their prices and the portions are about a third the size of what they once were. Greedy! Ordered six burritos today. Three cheesy steak burritos and three steak Chipotle burritos. I understand they're not going to be the size of the commercial but these things were smaller then street tacos. The cheesy steak burrito only had six tiny little pieces of steak, a smidgen of white sauce which I assume is sour cream and rice. Absolutely no cheese. TINY TINY TINY! My 8 and 11-year-old each ate three and still wanted dessert. $24 for only two kids and they're still hungry!??? It's essentially like buying six plain tortillas for $24! You were once the best Taco Bell in the Bay area and I don't think I'll ever be back to this location again or any Taco Bell for that matter.

Go drive thru! Pick up is forever! I waited 30 mins for my orders
    Cindy C.

I wasn't going to write a bad review because it's just TACO BELL but the lady at the drive-thru at @5:15 on 8/13 was being difficult and had an attitude for no reason. Picked up my door dash order, and ask for some HOT sauces. She said I should have requested on the app and she kept repeating herself. How hard is it to JUST give me some sauce, she finally gave me 5 lousy packets for my 4 items.. very generous. Also! The cinnamon twists were only half full- barely much (this happens all the time.) If you have to come to this Taco Bell, go drive-thru!! Last time , i waited more than 25 mins for our orders bc we went inside to order. Even if you have door dash, go drive-thru. But make sure you give up sauces, bc the last few times they only give you a few packets of sauces. So I have to ask. Don't know why this Taco Bell is so stingy?

No cashiers. Order at the kiosks now.

It has been a while since I last came to this Taco Bell. The inside looks to have been remodeled and was very clean. All the tables are located next to the windows and there's a huge open space in the middle of the restaurant. There are no cashiers but there are 4 kiosks where you can place your order. I saw that they had a Tuesday deal for a $5 Discovery Box which consists of a Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco, Crunchy Taco, Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Taco and medium drink. Food was quick to come out and tasted good. The Mountain Dew Baja blast is my go to drink whenever I go to Taco Bell. I liked the new lids that they have on their drinks. It was like a snap on lid that felt more secure on the cup. There's plenty of parking in their parking lot. I've never seen it half full. I think a lot of people just take their food to go or use the drive thru. The parking spots near the entrance looks to have been remodeled as well.

There's a fucking piece of meat in my veggie bowl.

It was freezing in there and they really could do more with the decor, but whatever, it's a taqueria, not fine dining. There are only four tables so not a lot of places to sit. I came back to try their burritos. They were fine. Everyone in my group ate them. The vegetarian one was kind of slimy - must have had cactus in it which I hate and failed to notice on the menu. Mouth on fire vs tasteless tomato chunks. The chicken was really bad. Was it old, or just NOT my flavor? Hard to tell the guacamole was thin and too lime-y. I almost wondered if it was from Costco. I got the vegan breakfast burrito, which has pan fried potatoes, roasted peppers and onions, mayocoba beans, chile morita mayonesa, avocado, corn, cilantro in a flour tortilla and it contains soy. It was savory, just a little bit spicy but tolerable for someone who can handle just mild level so I felt it was a good addition for providing more flavor given vegetarian burritos can otherwise often end up very plain. Quite a bit of avocado. I liked the potatoes and beans, and the insides didn't feel too mushy texture-wise. Admittedly not the hugest quantity for a burrito of this price ($15 before tax/tip) but I appreciate that they have several vegetarian and vegan options on their menu. I also ordered the strawberry agua fresca - listed as agua de fresca on the menu and this is the only flavor available, for $6. It was pretty good, fruity and sweet but not overwhelmingly so. I tried some of the chips and salsa morita that a friend shared with me, and thought it was decent - they give a massive quantity of chips (it would be good for sharing with a group) which are crispy and lightly salted, and the salsa is tasty and very mild in spice level.
