I've been living in Jackson Heights for almost 30 years and I never knew this place existed! Clearly I don't walk enough in the neighborhood. I was casually walking with my boyfriend when we passed Table Wine and we stopped to take a double look and we both said to each other how we needed to come back inside after dinner. Table Wine is so cute inside and filled with great wine choices. The gentleman in the front was so helpful when we asked about wines to choose from. They have everything from local wine, Japanese whiskey, to Mezcal. I will 10000% be coming back! So glad i found this hidden gem in Jackson Heights!

This place has been a blessing! I live in Miami and I found this store on Yelp. I was looking for a specific Bourbon and they had it in store. The gift was for someone in NY. I called the store and Harry was a blessing! He was attentive and answered all my questions and even went above and beyond to help me with my request. Definitely A+ store! Thank you so much. This place rocks. Besides the interesting assortments of wine, great prices for what you get, and the knowledgeable and friendly staff, they have one of those neat cooling station thingys for your white or bubbly drinks! Leave it in for a few to several minutes to desired coldness. Energy efficient and awesome! read more

I like this wine store. Selection is varied enough to find something I will enjoy but small enough so that finding that something is not a daunting task. Helpful descriptions for most of their wines and liquors. Pleasant atmosphere and staff. Their willingness to make customers happy is apparent. Having grown up with half a glass of wine for pranzo, I am very finicky when it comes to vino. But the choices at Table Wine, from pleasant to very good wine for decent prices, helpfulness of owners and staff, make this my favorite shop in the City! And I have even ventured from Italians, French and Californians. read more

Live in Jackie High for 5 years now and just recently found this place while doing a google search. Love the decor and great selection. Many great wines most under 16$ and they have a simple selection of spirits on the back wall. Knowledge of wines is extensive and very helpful. Only critique is that I wish the one gentleman (owner I guess) I've met was more engaging, otherwise love the place and its price and selection. read more

This is just the loveliest place to pick up a bottle of wine (or a unique bourbon) in Queens. The staff knows a ton about wine, and will totally work within what you want to spend. For old "Jackson Heights-ers", this is in what was once Ancil House (that adorable shop that seemed like it was from 1800s Little House on the Prairie with peppermint sticks and stationery, etc) read more

Don't be fooled by the name! This is a fabulous store not ONLY for wines, but for whiskey, scotch, tequila--all the hard liquor works! They prioritize select and reasonably priced brands that you might not see at your average liquor store. It's been my go to place for Manhattan makings (the best Manhattan in Queens) for years. They are super friendly and super helpful, aways. read more

Cute little shop in Jackson heights - great variety of wines and spirits! This was quite a gem to find while visiting a friend in the neighborhood. The staff seemed very knowledgable and passionate about their wine. visited table wine last week in search of bitters. there was a wide selection of bitters (we bought the aromatic kind for $15) and wine, and to a lesser extent, liquor. the two guys working there were helpful and knowledgeable; but even if they hadn't been, each wine bottle features a hand-written description of its flavor profile. unlike the other wine and liquor shope in the neighborhood, table wine doesn't carry swill. if you're looking for yellowtail, keep walking. read more

I love this store. Everyone that works there is incredibly knowledgeable and super-friendly. I am also extremely happy because after a long hiatus, they just got back one of my favorite Spanish wines, the new vintage of Primitivo Quiles Cono 4. What a killer wine and amazing value. Old-school wine making at it's best. read more

My son and his family live in Jackson Heights and when I was visiting last week we stopped in at Table Wine. We went back the next day, at my request, to see if they ship wine. They do. My New York wines arrived about an hour ago. I can hardly wait to start sipping. I was very impressed with the overall selection, but I wanted to try New York vintages and they can be difficult to find here in Denver. Thanks, Table Wine! read more

This store and staff are just amazing. I have been going here for a few years now and the service is always great. They really know their stuff and I love the care and attention they put into their selections. If there is something i want that they don't have in, they order it and give me a call when it arrives. I was so excited when this shop opened up. I enjoy wine, but don't consider myself to be very knowledgeable. But, the staff is extremely knowledgeable which is very helpful. I love going to their tastings and will often buy a bottle of something that I've tasted. The prices are very reasonable, too. The owners and staff are very friendly and support the community. Love this place; two thumbs up! read more

The process has been simple: I call ahead of time and if they have what I want, it'll be waiting for me when I get there. I pay for the beer and they help me load it in the vehicle and I'm off. Tri-Boro is located in Astoria, along the BQE highway and in a semi-rural location of the hood. The setup almost looks like a gas station, except the place is loaded full of craft beers. There no doubt they have some of the best selection in the borough, if not the city. They have had a lot of popular brands as well as some obscure ones, many of which are not local to the NYC. They have beer via bottles / packages, as well as via kegs. Their prices are pretty good for what they have and ordering can actually be done online. Many of the kegs range from $150-300 and the staff is pretty good about helping folks get it setup properly. The only thing they don't have is a lot of international beers. I've had to look in other places for more bulk type stuff, but when it comes to craft beer, Tri-Boro is as reliable as they come.

For that, I have to detract a star, but even so this is a pretty quality operation that merits a look. The store seems small, but the layout is conducive to the stellar selection of wine and spirits. Furthermore the place is clean and doesn't have that musty odor that many liquor stores tend to have. Those spots smell like unkept basements, while this place could be someone's home. They have a really awesome selection of wines and quality imports such as a decent soju and sake collection. I also appreciate their line of spirits and how organized everything seems to be. For collectors or gift givers, they have some really neat high end versions of various spirits which come in specialized boxes / collection / kits, etc. The prices are as good as the selection. Not too expensive and certainly affordable considering this place has a loyalty system (points per purchase) that can be redeemed after buying a certain amount of bottles. in terms the overall package, Muho is one of the better liquor stores in the neighborhood.

They will often help carry cases if necessary out to cars and do so with a smile.

What reay shocked me was that the only other customers were some 15 year old looking girls who the owner was aggressively harassing. The owner put his hands on one of the teens and when she tried to back away, he shoved her into the counter. I was utterly appalled, phoning the police immediately after as the girls left. I know liquor stores can have a tendency to be low-class, but in Queens, Ivy Wine and Liquors is absolutely bottom-of-the-barrel scum.

If you are a minority expect the staff to ignore you or take a long time to serve you. This place is not for the long time locals of Jackson Heights. It's for the new gentrification I got priced out of Williamsburg BK or L.I.C. people. The pretentious, pompous, soulless lames who invade a neighborhood without ever bothering to learn about the town, it's inhabitants, or it's history. If you moved to NYC less than 10 years ago go there you'll fit right in. If you were raised in this town don't. Oh yeah, and the wine they offer at the tasting is garbage it tastes like old cooking wine or red wine vinegar. If I could give negative 5 stars or even zero stars I would. read more
