The staff was VERY friendly, helpful, and informative from start to finish. The check-in process was so easy, and they did a great job making sure we didn't spend our vacation waiting around. The pontoon boat was clean, comfortable, and the tube worked perfectly for the kids. Everyone had such a great time on the water! This was our second time renting a boat from State Park Marina, and both experiences have been amazing. We truly have no complaints. The staff is awesome and goes above and beyond to make sure families have a great experience. Highly recommend State Park Marina if you're looking for a fun day on the lake!

The host also owns a couple other attractions/properties around the area. We didn't check them all out, but we did go to his Emu and Giant Bunny farm.

From where we started at the White River Landing, everything was smooth and well organized. The landing itself is charming, especially in the evening with string lights and a couple of shops designed to match the showboat's vintage aesthetic. There was a dedicated priority boarding line for Captain's Club guests that started on time and before general admission, so we avoided any wait. Staff efficiently guided us through boarding (complete with photo opportunity with an option to purchase later) and to our seats in the dining area. The dining experience was outstanding thanks to our attentive server and other dining staff. With Captain's Club, we enjoyed a menu to choose from, were served ahead of the general admission guests, and the food arrived quickly. During dinner, the show with the Rivertown Ramblers was energetic, also well-organized, and highly entertaining. The talented vocalists and musicians delivered a fantastic performance. The combination of the scenic cruise, great food, priority service, and live entertainment made for a memorable evening and one of the highlights of our Branson trip. It was a 2-hour trip. Basically, we cruised out to a nice, protected cove and dropped anchor for awhile, allowing all of us to get off the boat if we wanted and go enjoy the water. The options were: Two tandem kayaks, a giant inflatable slide, an inflatable trampoline with a launch bubble and just swimming around. The staff was very friendly and entertaining. They even played music over the boat speakers the whole time and had some fun contests and entertainment on the trip back to the marina. It is well worth the money to go out and enjoy the lake.

You can pay extra to sit in the first 3 rows. They say, "You will get wet." Well, when they did the turn, everyone on got a little wet. They also do this maneuver where they hit the brakes hard. When that happens, the front of the boat and the first 3 rows get a tsunami of water that literally feels like getting 50 gallons of water dumped you. I was awesome, but wow, you got 100% soaked. They pulled move 4 times. I will be going again but don't wear your hat or sunglasses. Also, if you bring your phone, I suggest putting it in a ziplock bag in your pocket. Ospreys, blue herons and two bald eagles which were magnificent. I unfortunately was unable to get a photo of them. (I'll wear my glasses next time.). This would be a beautiful cruise in the fall with the leaves changing. Would I come back here? If I was ever in Branson again, I would.

Also, I want to mention that all of the employees were incredibly kind and welcoming--this is absolutely not a reflection on them.
