However, fast forward 9 months to today -- the cab ceiling where the repairs were done is now leaking through the tail light. I brought it back in for review, assuming they would take responsibility since they were the last ones to work on that area. Instead, I was told the part was simply "worn" and that they had just removed and reinstalled it. That explanation doesn't make sense -- if the part was "worn" now, why wasn't it considered worn when it was reinstalled during the original repair months earlier? This is a minor issue -- just a small inexpensive part and a few screws -- but the principle matters. I expected the shop to stand behind its work, especially given I have little doubt the insurance company paid well for the repair. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. I rarely leave negative reviews, but in this case, I feel it's warranted. I won't be returning for future repairs and will definitely share this experience with others as well as my insurance company.

Latest issue was severe front end noise on a Jeep Compass. Control arms were just about shot. Finished the job same day, and I asked them to look at brakes also, and they said brakes were fine. Somewhat expensive, but in the neighborhood I was expecting. Same vehicle had other problems a year or so ago, and a thorough repair was performed. Advised of some potential down-the-line problems. Hope to never need them again, but I will absolutely use them again if necessary.

Friend and I were driving to breakfast when all of a sudden my dashboard lit up and my car stopped working! We coasted into the nearby restaurant where we were headed thankfully. We got out and did the obvious - look under the hood for fluid leaks, smoke, etc... but nothing for the plain eye to see. I went to Yelp to see if there were any services near that could help and that is when I found this shop. I called A&L, told them what happened and they kept it real with me basically saying they didn't know what it could be either, but they could fit me in that morning to take a look. I decided to have the car towed versus trying to drive it and possibly damage it further. I asked if they knew any tow companies and they gave me info for a local company they do business with (that was also excellent btw!). Once my car arrived at A&L they let me know they were close to finishing up another vehicle and would look into mine after they were done. They have a very small waiting area which is set up nicely with a couch, tv with all entertainment you could want and a vending machine. It really is only big enough for a couple people. When it was my turn, they looked at the car while I chilled in the waiting area de-stressing watching tv. They came back, explained the problem, quoted me a price and let me know they could fix it that same morning while I waited! WOW! They did have to send someone for the part. The pricing also seemed very reasonable. I accepted. (Note I later discussed what happened with my existing local trusted mechanic and he confirmed their pricing was AMAZING as was the fact they were able to help so quickly. As a non-mechanical person there is a lot of trust that goes here). They had my problem diagnosed, resolved and paid for all in a few hours. I was very impressed! My friend even stated this was a blessing as many shops have waiting lists right now for basic items. Summary - USE this shop! Take your car here! They are trustworthy, efficient, affordable and no bs. They do what they say they can do and they are upfront about now being able to diagnose without seeing the vehicle.
