I had the pastrami and it was one of the best pastrami sandwiches I have had thus far. The sandwich was huge enough to share. It was a good ratio of bread to filling and the right amount of meat. Ranked in order best to last: #1- Turkey BLT with avocado was the favorite. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. #2- the 504 Italian. Very meaty and the focaccia bread was amazing. #3- The short rib was just ok. Lacking a little flavor and the texture was not the traditional meat. The HR was BOMB! #4- chicken Parmesan was our least favorite. There was too much bread to chicken ratio and it was way too dry. Needed a lot more sauce. Chef Dalton, you made this tummy extremely happy with the Short Rib French Dip!! Super meaty and the bread was delicious. Folks, you need to try this place!! Don't worry about the lettuce. I would suggest picking up Togo as there is limited room to sit. Came here on a Tuesday at 1pm and This place was packed!!! Very small interior with only a few seats to choose from but all taken, and about 8 people waiting outside. I ordered the Italian sub and it took only 5 min to get my food which seemed very fast. All sandwiches seen close to 20$. You can tell they use high quality ingredients here. Everything tasted good, but maybe it was the portions that seemed off, the Cheese to meat ratio. So much cheese! Also I love foccacia bread and they make it in house but I prefer mine a little crunchier. It was good, but the bottom half of the bread kinda reminded me of cornbread. The parking is bad outside. It's in an industrial area and there's not much street parking. Also, there's some construction going on a couple buildings away. You go inside order. The paper menu is a condensed version of the one on the wall. Then you wait for your name to be called outside. It took about 10 to 15 minutes. The Philly Cheesesteak was very good. I prefer a little more cheese. The 504 Italian was very good too. I prefer a bit more meat, but I know it's an expensive meat. There's a few tables and chairs inside, but we took ours home. They probably do most of their business doing classes, catering, local business orders, etc. They'd have to expand or get another location for a good retail eatery. Just my opinion. Got the turkey BLT and a strawberry cheesecake cinnamon roll. All the ingredients seemed super fresh and high end in the sandwich. The cinnamon roll was really phenomenal. It had just been baked and was still warm when I bought it at 11:00, and I thought the graham cracker crumbs were a nice touch. My cat woke up from his nap and was drawn to the scents and he only does this for really high quality food!. Not much needs to be said, honestly. This was the best sandwich I've had in so long. Got the chicken parm. It's like $18, but if you think that's a lot, think again. It was massive. So glad to have a good sando shop in SCV. The establishment is cute and has a rustic vibe which I really liked. The staff is friendly, the sandos are a good shareable size. My sister shared an Instagram post of this restaurant, so I went by to check it out. It was amazing! The sandwiches are so delicious and huge in size; it covered two meals easily. They're great for sharing! I got the Chicken Parmesan sandwich and my friend got the Philly Steak Sandwich. My chicken parm was so tender and moist, plenty of sauce and cheese. The bread was fabulous. It was nice to see Chef James come out and greet us, just checking to see what we ordered and if we were alright I hope to try other sandwiches on future visits. When I DID go back, they were EXTREMELY apologetic that they had closed early because of some construction shutdown that was out of their control. This place is a hidden gem. We tried it yesterday at 3:00 to avoid the lunch rush. They were so helpful in explaining the menu and answering questions. I decided on the short rib French dip and it did not disappoint. It came with horseradish mayonnaise and au jus that was the best I ever had. Not watered down beef broth, but real au jus. Finally tried this new sandwich spot and it did not disappoint. It's located in the industrial park behind WalMart/Sams Club. We found amble parking along the street or you could park in the lot. The workers inside were so friendly and helpful with ordering and gave us recommendations. I got the 504 Italian and my friend got the club. Both sandwiches were HUGE!! The meat was piled high, the focaccia bread was so fresh and good. Not one complaint between the two of us except; this is so much food but I don't want to stop because it tastes so good. The inside is industrial with just a bar and about 8 stools and 2 high-top tables for 2. We arrived around 1:30 and practically had the place to ourselves. I understand it can get very busy around lunch time but it would be worth the wait. The best part (other than the incredible sandwiches), they don't accept tips!! An absolute must try. I went to this place on 5/11/26, and to say it was disappointing would be an understatement. I'm a vegetarian, and they did not have a vegetarian sandwich option. However, they did have an option to create my own sandwich, so that's what I did--well, at least what I tried to do. I ordered a sandwich with all of the vegetables, some cheese, and mustard and mayo on a sub roll. My order was to go, so when I got back to my office and opened the sandwich, there was a bunch of turkey in there. When I took out the turkey, all that remained were two pieces of cheese, a few tomatoes, and a few pieces of arugula. I asked for pickles on the sandwich, and there weren't any. The bread was soft and soggy, and the sandwich was almost $20. I understand this place is new and is deserving of some grace during their opening weeks, but this was a pretty bad experience. C'mon, Table 504. Can you put a sandwich as a vegetarian option on the menu? It'll come in handy during Lent when the Catholics come in on Fridays. read more

If I had 6 stars this small, destination shop would get them. I waited until my fourth trip to make sure how I felt and it's amazing. I've enjoyed the 504 Italian with it's imported meats and the best focaccia I've ever had, the Philly Cheesesteak with succulent beef, the 12 Day Pastrami which I a fan favorite and the meatball sub. Every sandwich is two meals for me which makes the price worth it. While the sandwiches are 6 stars, so are the daily dessert specials. The Reese's Peanut Butter cup Rice Krispie treats are to die for! I will be trying everything sandwich here! read more
