You're lucky if she's in there with you for 5 minutes! When my daughter finally reached 18, she had a questionable blood test, which we never got a call back on. I called almost a week later for them to blow me off. The doctor wouldn't even return my calls. Eventually, I decided to bring her to our PCP. Thank goodness I did. Eventually, she ended up in the hospital with DKA and diagnosed with T1D. I was SO angry with Dr. Presti. I felt she was either being a coward for not responding before I caught it or she didn't care and blew us off. Funny thing, I saw daughter had a high fasting sugar and asked nurse about it. You know what they said? She probably had a soda! She didn't! It would've been nice if they had her take a retest. Imagine if I stuck with her and daughter ended up in the hospital under her or Dr. Panza's care? I shudder to think if they would blow me off. If I had a chance to start all over, I would've ran away from this practice. Dr. Panza wasn't much better, either. I've been wanting to review Dr. Presti. Took me a few years to finally sit down to do it and not be furious with her!

Dr. Presti was so warm and my son immediately connected to her. And the nurses and front desk staff was just incredible. I had an annoying situation where I needed my son's preschool medical form filled out but we had already done a well visit elsewhere and they were able to get that taken care of. We also needed medical records from my son's allergist and for some reason the faxes were not coming through. They couldn't have been more patient and I couldn't have been more grateful. Did I mention I got the time wrong for our appointment (pregnancy brain) and we showed up an hour late and they still treated us with such professionalism and kindness?! Thank you. I am at ease knowing we found your office.

I specifically chose this doctor, as the only woman on the list of rheumatologists my PCP gave me,…read morebecause I felt a woman would be more open to diagnosing what I sincerely believe to be Fibromyalgia. Because, after all kinds of testing, it isn't anything else. I was kept waiting a very long time. Both in the waiting room and in the exam room. While I was kept waiting in the exam room, I could hear the doctor in a room nearby, on the phone. When she finally did see me she was condescending and patronizing and seemed to feel I needed a lesson in positive thinking? Being that I had been feeling horrible for months, and had hoped that a rheumatologist would have an answer, her attitude was very upsetting. I got a quick physical exam, a referral to a psychiatric neurologist, and an Rx for a 12-hour anti-inflammatory to lessen the constant body aches and pains I had been experiencing. She felt it was better for my body than taking OTC anti-inflamatories like Advil or Aleve. The anti-inflammatory actually worked rather well. When I was running low, I called my PCP to see if she could prescribe. As she is completely "by the book" she would not. So I had to call Dr. Podre-Nobre's office--even though, effectively, I have no relationship with her, or further need to see her. That was this past Friday before noon. I was down to 2 pills and the weekend was coming. The doctor was not in the office and, apparently, not reachable. In spite of the many advances in modern communication technology. I was told, if I hadn't heard back by 2, I'd have to wait until Monday. It's now almost 3:30 on Monday and I haven't heard a word. No worries. It's only pain. And it's only been three days.
