Okay, I get it.. they were prob camping too and had people over.. so, I wiped out the napkins, but they only had two small packages, so we are still politally correct.. the very nice man at the counter did say Cub was just up the road 3 min or 3 miles.. super close.. Just so appreciate this store. Small, but noble.. super clean! Does the job for gas (which we also got just fine!). It's super clean and the employees are so nice. Growing up in MN, my parents always told me you just can't get "MN Nice" anywhere else.. not so true in other parts of MN in our travels back, but this place still holds true! Thank you!!!

First off I love Costco. I'm sharing a story here about the Costco Tire Center at the Maple Grove…read moreCostco in MN here. I purchased tires from MN Maple Grove Costco for my SUV a few years ago and I don't drive much. The second tire rotation I had done in 12/2025; As soon as I got my car back I noticed a vibration through my brake pedal every time I applied my brakes which wasn't there before the Costco service was done. Tried bringing it back in to inquire, but due to Xmas the warehouse was a madhouse so I gave up after scheduling appointment and waiting in line an unreasonable amount of time. So many people because Costco rocks, but no so for me with this tire rotation. I put up with this very concerning vibration in my braking until my next visit to my dealer for oil change and inspection. The inspection found the problem. The problem? 2 warped rotors. I find it hard to understand even 1 warped rotor by someone who should know their job before they ever touch your car, but 2 warped rotors?! That's amateur night. Even if I had waited the probably hour in line back in 12/2025 right after they did this damage to my car, they probably would have denied it anyway. I'm now out over 500$ to have these 2 rotors turned (something Costco doesn't do.) One of them actually tried to tell me that you can warp your rotors by driving through a puddle and that was before I even discovered that my rotors had been warped by these grease monkeys. It's like somebody was trying to cover their tracks before they were even discovered. That just left me totally disgusted. Like I said I love Costco, but I'm not going to give any positive feed back on something like this. If I could rate them a zero I would. A big fat zero. Sorry Costco you totally screwed up here. I thought I was saving money with WOW no cost tire balance and rotation, but now I have a $500 bill to pay for rotor repair. I didn't save a dime with Costco with this fubar.

It is always clean, they always have what I've needed, and the people that work there are so kind and friendly. Sat 6/13/20: Chris was AWESOME! I tried looking for a drink and it wasn't there, he passed by and I asked him if they had it. He came back with one. I then asked if he minded if I had another. Without hesitation or looking annoyed/frustrated he went right back to the cooler and got it for me. It's nice not feeling like a burden in certain situations. It was a busy day and they had 3 people on the registers, Chris immediately went behind the counter to start helping out - I love seeing that! At this location I have yet to try their coffee or hot foods, but they look delicious and are on my list to try. Since COVID is still present in the area, they have little "6 ft away" stickers on the ground for places people can stand to maintain distance. Their "start here" line for the cash register can be a bit confusing as the divider to guide people to the registers is off to the side and most of the time I go in here the line is always in a different direction. Not a dealbreaker but just something I've noticed whenever I visit. All that matters is we all form some type of line and get the items we need! Visited this location recently and once again had Chris when I was checking out, he's very kind and friendly, greeting everyone that comes to him! I love that there are so many options from "make your own coffee" to hot goods on the rollers (hot dogs and the like) as well as sandwiches on the other side. The bakery section is always stocked with doughnuts and sweets, as well as their AMAZING muffins! Like most gas stations they have snacks, chips, all sorts of drinks, and misc items. This location is always packed/busy when I go but they are really efficient at keeping the lines of customers out the door quickly! Location: It is on the corner of Lake near the on ramp to 35. There are lots of trees, shrubs, and greenery that shield the building during the summer. It is located right near a strip of business that might be fun to check out depending on what you like!!

I frequent the one in Robbinsdale, and have visited the ones in Brooklyn Park and in New Hope, all beautiful stores in my opinion, so expectations were high. I don't expect much out of gas stations (I don't think many people do), so we were both kinda floored by how NICE the interior of this gas station was. Like practically upscale fancy (for a gas station), clean and well-lit, with a decent selection of REAL food (produce, milk, eggs, etc.) in addition to the typical junk fare. I was also impressed by the tap smoothie and protein shake dispensers alongside the coffee brews and soda fountain. Bakery items were actively being discounted when we arrived, and were extremely tempting flavors like pumpkin white chocolate chip. Perhaps needless to say, we walked out with more than hubbie's cup of coffee. X'D Making your shop look nice (while staying affordable) works y'all! Honestly this trend of gas stations that TRY is refreshing; it doesn't have to feel like you're slumming it or one step above peeing on the side of the road. Next time I need a quick something, I may in fact prioritize Kwik Trip over say Holiday or Speedway. Also the employees working here were friendly and efficient. So even the help really seemed a step above the rest when it comes to gas stations. My kudos to them!

Several times I have taken my Cub reward card to Holiday in Blaine on Radisson and 109th and they…read morehave been unable to issue the credit allowed on my Cub card. I made 4 trips from the pump back into the store/station to try and solve the problem, but I lost the fight. According to Cub Foods, I should be able to simply insert the red card into the pump and receive the credit per gallon I have earned by shopping at Cub. Never, I say NEVER, has the pump ever accepted my red Cub card. My card today had 60 cents a gallon credit coming!! So I make the trip into the store, tell the usually inexperienced cashier/clerk the problem and (s)he tells me to estimate how much gas I will need, pay that amount with my credit card, come back in and pay the balance if there is one and they will give the credit on my card. Never works. I couldn't even begin to guess how many gallons I'd needed. Today I chose $30. I went back out to the pump and the pump shut off at $30. I went back into store and was informed I should have guessed more. Now the Cub credit is gone. I had to go back to pump, put in my credit card and pay full price for another $35 of gas. Back into store...finally got the manager who 'graciously' gave me another 30 cents off per gallon. I ended up losing 30 cents per gallon credit, became exhausted in 91degree heat as I'm 85 years old. Can't you get pumps that will accept the Cub reward card like it should? I swear I will never buy gas at Holiday and I plan to tell all my friends and customers (yes, I'm still working full time!!) about your terrible service and equipment.

Being new to the area, I've been hunting down the gas stations that are close by. So far this one…read moreBY FAR is the cleanest most upkept gas station I found in the area so far. Like, almost amazingly beyond normal clean! Yes, it's small and quaint and doesn't have the selection of snacks, drinks, fresh pastry smell wafting in the air like some of the bigger ones but hey- I'm on a diet anyway! Sometimes the the smell of cleaning products is a little over powering when I walk in (kind of a dislike for me yet at the same time...it does smell freshly cleaned). I noticed even the outdoor grounds are better kept up than Uhm some of the neighbori g houses and businesses around it. The gas seemed to be a good .05c less than the one down the street a ways to boot. Service?? 2 our of 3 times so far was friendly. Today's dude was a bit crabby, on the phone and let me stand there a few minutes waiting while being I. The phone, then checked his text while ringing me up and didn't say anything to me. Not cool...but maybe he was "putting out a fire" or something. It will still be my go to gas station for now, unless I find one better close by.

So to the owner, Joe.... This is a customer service position, even more so that being a waitress, etc. He is the rudest human being I've ever met. An older lady once worked there pt, and agreed with me, have me the owner's number but that was before you bought it. Never ever saying thank you or hello is one thing, but scoffing at me and annoyingly correcting me on what I called my cigarettes (when Marlboro changed there names from light to silver, for example), is probably the last thing you want to do to a customer. For years it's been the closest place to my home to get gas, and I started going elsewhere, even though gas costs more most places around here ( I applaud that). Now I know his car and schedule so I just don't go there weekday afternoons and evenings anymore. He watched me wait for has authorization while he (extremely dragging ass) checked the garbages outside ( that were over flowing) and slowly walked in, as my pump has now been beeping for over 90 seconds, and he still took his time in there. I've wanted to say something for years but I'm not an angry person. I worked in hospitality for 15 years. He couldn't even cut it as a dishwasher, let alone make it through an interview. And is he wearing a wedding ring? Poor girl. I really hope someone sees this, as I'm sure nobody checks gas station reviews.
