This location only has 1 car wash tucked away behind the building. After the wash, I went inside to grab a drink. The drink selection is endless - coffee, shakes, soda, water. They also have a wide selection of both hot and cold food ready to eat as well as a selection of groceries including a small selection of produce. Overall, this is a great gas station to stop in if you need a snack or a car wash. One unique thing about this location is there is a patio area with tables and benches to eat at, but probably not in February, even if 40 degrees.

The fountain soda machine is set up with two nozzles and then you select the soda you want on a touchscreen. It could be all in my head, but the Diet Coke always has a slightly off flavor. This Holiday is setup with an entrance in the front and back of the store with gas pumps on both sides. There are also multiple entrances into the parking lot, but to exit, you need to exit behind the store if you want to go back toward the interstate.

Could be because its fairly new or at least seems pretty new. Fan because of the following: -Fountain drink option -They carry the extra crispy Kit-Kat -Unsweetened ice tea -Garlic Meat sticks (the kind I love from WI) -Friendly check out staff -Clean I wish they carried the small Perrier, San Pellegrino or Mendota single bottles. I have only found them a few places. Mainly in IL. There is a little seating area for their deli to go foods which must be the "express" part. They had a lot of variety and things to choose from. I really like that in a convenient store.

Once I got them home I did an experiment. I took one pill from the old supply and one from the new. Placed them on a plate and added water. The old one dissolved into foam instantly, the new one did not. Proof to the pharmacist that this is not all in my mind. I will be sending a complaint on this lot to the FDA. Coincidentally there was a large article in the NY Times about how most of the drugs now used in the U.S. are being made in substandard conditions with poor quality control in foreign countries.

The restrooms were clean and well maintained like a modern navel cruiser. I emerged refreshed and honed in on a grocery endcap with bananas by the pound. Thank you! I needed some potassium as I continue. We are heading west, Fargo to Bismarck and beyond and this Kwik Stop was the highlight of my glimpse at St Michael, Minnesota. I hope I get another chance to make a first impression in this icy wonderland! I was so right. This was the beginning of a great adventure with The Palmer Squares on the Sick as Frick tour.
