My first impression was, "wow, this is a very clean store." Then, as I perused selections in a wandering quest for the rest area, I was intrigued by a vast array of goods...many uncommon, yet welcome, to a weary traveler. The restrooms were clean and well maintained like a modern navel cruiser. I emerged refreshed and honed in on a grocery endcap with bananas by the pound. Thank you! I needed some potassium as I continue. We are heading west, Fargo to Bismarck and beyond and this Kwik Stop was the highlight of my glimpse at St Michael, Minnesota. I hope I get another chance to make a first impression in this icy wonderland! I was so right. This was the beginning of a great adventure with The Palmer Squares on the Sick as Frick tour. What do you know, again the hot food area is pretty much empty. Less then 25% stocked again at this kwik trip, not even something as simple as a corn dog available. I don't get it, every other kwik trip I stop at has a hot food area at least 75% fully stocked at all times but no matter what time of the day you stop at this kwik trip, they always have an empty hot food area. Getting into this one is a touch on the funky side and the parking lot looks a touch on the sketchy side, but once you get inside, this place is massive and has nearly everything, including deli meats and fresh produce. The other gas/convenience chains better concentrate on turning the dial, as the game has changed with these places. Hot and cold food were both fantastic, ice cream is quite nice, snack and drink selection is solid, the place, particularly the restrooms are clean, and overall they do just a quality job. read more

I was so happy when they added a Kwik Trip in this location... it is so convenient for cabin goers who are heading north! It's a little tricky to get to when heading south, but it seems the signage has improved... you just need to pay attention. Great assortment of items within the store... plenty of snacks to choose from. read more

I was excited when they finally brought Kwik Trip into town. When I was a kid and going on road trips through Mankato, we always stopped for their famous chocolate milk. This is a great location with easy on/off entrances to 94. If I'm in the area and need gas, this is where I go. read more

Stopped in to get gas on the way back home to Kansas City from Miltona. Really really nice convenient store. Very friendly staff, well lit parking lot, and extremely clean inside. Can't believe what happened while I was checking out at the Kwik Trip in St Michael this evening.... I have never been so humiliated and had my feelings hurt while simply checking out at the register. I purchase many things from this particular store. I had some groceries and dog food. The man at the register picked up the bag of dog food and asked me if this was my snack for the ride home?! Someone behind me let out a noise like I can't believe he just said that... It was 6:00 & busy as everyone was stopping after work. I proceeded to grab my things and leave. I called the manager and all I got was sorry I'll talk to him. Not in a sympathetic way either... Like I was annoying him. No trying to make it right or anything. We sit and teach our kids about bullying and to be nice to everyone and yet you can't even go to a gas station without someone being a bully. Maybe this young man thought he was being funny BUT I can assure you regardless of the fact you do NOT say these things to someone. I am so upset. For someone who has struggled immensely with an eating disorder the past year I can tell you it brings you right back to the ground. People need to change. People need to love one another. Uplift one another.... It saddens me to think what this world will be like when my girl's are older.... read more

TO HANNAH THAT WORKS AT THE ST. MICHAEL KWIK TRIP: YOU ARE AN ANGEL!!! Monday night on my way home from work I almost got in a serious CAR ACCIDENT!! Driving down 94, in the middle of a heavy snow storm, my drivers side windshield wiper LITERALLY broke off and flew to hit the truck driving behind me!!!!!!!! I limped down the shoulder to the St. Michael exit and the only place I could find that was open was KWIK TRIP. I went in and they only had a few wiper blades for sale, in my mind I was freaking out...then comes along Hannah. I didnt have my phone on me, was clearly shaken from the incident and had no idea what size wiper blade I needed. She went and got her personal phone, Googled everything I needed and got me a blade that would at the very least get me home safely!!! Then as I was leaving she said that some blades are super confusing and that if I had ANY troubles attaching it she would come out and help (in the middle of a snow storm!) or we could find some YouTube videos to help!! She didnt have to go above and beyond like she did....but she did anyway!! I got home safely because of her kindness and willingness to help a confused, shaking customer! I will be leaving reviews everywhere I can think of so she, and her boss, know just how much her kindness is appreciated!!!! read more

Car wash is worthless. The brushes are not maintained and have large gaps between them which means you get racing strips of dirt left behind. When I complained they gave me a free wash. This time I tried the touchless side, which also did not get the dirt stripes off. I have a new car that I keep clean and waxed, so it should not have been hard to get my car clean. I gave their wash another try about a month later thinking they must have had it fixed by then, but no, still streaks in the same places. Don't waste your money like I did several times. read more
